Cabbet0 Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 On a first note I think this mod is brilliant ^^ but just to list a few bugs I've had (if its my error let me know XD) When starting the forbidden bookcase quest it didnt start, Urgo I think he's called didn't do anything, found out later it was because I had a harness on, I'm assuming wearing a belt would prevent it from starting as well. The second isn't so much a bug as an annoyance, when collecting the 3 items for the forbidden tome quest the last item spawned in Nchardak, wouldn't have been a problem but I would have had to do 4 other quests to get the item to enter the ruins which woulda took forever lol ( gotta love coc command at times like this) The third which I can't figure out is when I try to submit to urgo at the end he removes the belt, plugs etc, but then it just loops, the quest never ends also it removes the chasity belt book over and over despite the fact I don't have it anymore lol. I'm assuming the items you need to find are placed randomly around skyrim I think it'd be better if they were placed statically in locations anyone can get to at anytime and Zed should be placed statically as well that way you could probably eliminate the Solstheim marker confusion other than this the actual mod not including the quests works perfectly fine for me. Also sorry if any of these have been posted already currently 203 pages and I'm to lazy to read every one ;p
PubliusNV Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 Yes, if you have a belt already equipped (and now, apparently, a harness - anyway, something that holds the plugs in) is known to prevent the quest from starting (and is intended). Also, I think the original post in the thread already mentions that the quest can send you to Solsteim or even Falskaar if you have that mod installed, any place that's a Dwemer ruin is eligible. So the only thing you've mentioned that isn't already a known behavior of the mod is the loop with Urag removing the belt, plugs, etc. I think the mod author will have to weigh in on that one, I don't think I've seen it reported before.

Make sure you are using FNIS 5.02 or later. There is a known issue with earlier FNIS versions and multiple mods that define offset animations.

I know this quest can have problems if you are not running the latest aroused, so that's probably the first thing to check.

They can be a little hard to read atm. It's the standard Skyrim notification, so the font size and time is entirely handled by Skyrim, no way to change it sadly.

That seems strange, the normal messages are quite readable but some of them (usually soulgem plug effects or arousal messages) show in a really small font. Is it a limited line length so that Skyrim has to shrink the font to fit everything?

I did a fresh install and all but the problem persists. It was working before, don't know if I installed an updated version of something that is not compatible yet, it has just suddenly stopped working. Any idea of what could be? Thanks a lot.

I know this quest can have problems if you are not running the latest aroused, so that's probably the first thing to check. I've got the lastest version as i only installed it a few days ago. Another thing i wanna ask is what do the notifications say, as i could be getting them and not know it. Edit: Also could the problem have to do with the fact the plug doesn't show up as equiped in my inventory. Edit 2: The problem was the plug wasn't equiped and i couldn't equip it in the inventory. I was trying to see if i could using the console when i put it in a barrel (so i could get it's ID) and when i went to check the barrel i didn't see it there, so i checked my inventory, low and behold it was there and equiped.

I can't seem to get rid of them >.<

If you have hardcore mode disabled, the armbinder will not block access to your inventory (And thus, the [tab] rebinding will not be enabled). omg it's bug day for me, so when I try to remove some "devious" items from my character in the inventory, it seems to just do it without getting the prompt, but they stay on visually, and if I look at my inventory again and click on the item, it tells me I can only have one of that item...any ideas on how to fix this? EternalDamned Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 @Naatitsab As far as I can tell, nothing "Devious" is compatible with SL 1.50 yet. They are all kind of integrated with zaz animations which isn't SL 1.50 compatible yet.

Since this is a major rewrite of several of SexLab's systems, many mods WILL be broken and need to be updated. Most notably anything that requires Zaz animations won't work, as the method of registering additional animations has changed and zaz will need to be updated. Probably not. Been busy, haven't had time to look at the dev builds of sexlab / 1.5 yet.
