Devious Devices - Integration 4.3a (2019-09-10)

not that big of a deal, but whenever my character has a armbinder on it repeatedly spams the sound of something trying to be equipped, certainly not game breaking as much as slightly annoying. Does anyone know what is happening and/or how to prevent it?

 

IIRC, that was due to some combat mod that adds fist "weapons" and equips them automatically if you're unarmed.

Atleast SPERG does that. Turn the equipping of fists to manual in mcm and youre good.

About how long does it take for Sergius's soul gem to charge? Earlier someone mentioned two days, but it doesn't seem to happen for me.

 

I belive it's 24 houers.

 

BUT! It should be noted that waiting and sleeping doesen't count, you can go to bed and sleep 24 houers, but only 1 houer will be added to the charge to prevent people from just cheesing their way through it. Also, make sure you have the latest version of SL-Aroused, or it may not function correctly.

I am not sure if this is the right place but I am getting a error message on load up. Says devious devices did not install correctly, no load up in sexlab MCM for verision check.  I am not sure why I am getting this but it did not happen till I updated all my mods. I am using a clean save and a new game still same issue.

Min is working on the update but there were quite a few changes to SexLab and a number of the commands that were being used by Integration.

Couple of suggestions for future upgrades:

 

I play using LADL and in the very early part of the game it's a real choice once you get your first chastity key whether to remove the belt or bra. The belt can have sudden effects but the bra seriously gimps some of the combat stats. A few levels on the bra's effect becomes fairly minor (except perhaps for archery) so I was wondering if this could be scaled up a bit so it has an increased effect when the character is at a higher level

 

This one's really minor, but really for completeness. I know we all know where the Forbidden Tome quest starts as players (from this thread) but from a roleplay point of view our characters wouldn't, could you add some sort of cryptic hint/clue from an NPC (maybe a Blacksmith) so the pc would know where to start looking to craft keys and belts.

Crucial as Assets is to the whole DD franchise, Integration is the more important mod from the end-user perspective, as well as the one more likely to require troubleshooting, so this topic sees more action

Well, the Assest's section is nothing more than meshes and textures (no offence intended), the Integration part is wat makes it tick.

Apologies if this has been posted earlier, but I CTD instantly when I equip the armbinder. I've run FNIS, but it doesn't seem to have resolved the problem.

 

Edit: I'm dumb, updating FNIS did it.

Tbh, I'd like to see the assets and integration and those kind of threads just locked untill the next update and make just one big Devious Discussion thread where you can go to for all these repeating questions that appear in those threads.

 

Slap a faq at the first post for the most common questions and there you go, no more integration questions being posted in assets or LaDL questions being posted in integration.

Makes it easier to answer all and it doesn't even have to be min or any of the creators, there are plenty of active people that can help out others aswell with alot of the questions, not to mention it keeps people from getting their hopes up for having updates

If you CTD right after Bethesda logo, it's 100% sure you're missing a dependency for one mod or another.

 

On top of things you mentioned, Integration requires SexLab Aroused and DD - Assets, do you have those?

if only it were this easy, ive gotten dozens of questions asked that were identical to things i already answered in the first thread.   i was once told quite confidently that if i would only make a faq these questions would go away, at which point i linked him to the faq i already had.  i once had the same question asked and answered 3 seperate times on the same page of the thread.....  bottom line: people dont read ヽ(￣д￣; )ノ

Just a minor update regarding the dungeon selection thing: just tested the Forbidden Tome quest start a few times to see what random dungeons were chosen.  After about 6 tries, I managed to get all of them in Skyrim.  It definitely seems to favor wanting to expand your travel out into the Dragonborn areas, but it is possible to get them all in the main world.  Also seems to favor certain areas over others, as I got Nchardak, Kagrenzel, and Raldbthar more often than any others during those tests.

When I want to masturbate with the chastity belt on, it doesnt work and gives me this message : Failed to find any valid animations. Aborting.

I tried to reregister the animations but it still doesn't work. What's going on ? Do i have to reinstall the mod or something ? Thanks for replying.

That as far as ive been able to tell is just a lack of a message saying basically your screwed cant do it with the belt on.
