I'm looking for a model for Serana from Serana Dialogue Addon (not the vanilla voice, I know a model for that exists). Any ideas where I could track a model down? I've tried the xVASynth Discord server with no luck so far, and I can't use VATrainer to make my own model because it requires a NVIDIA graphics card while I only have an AMD card

I think it was an excel file.

This is the first time I saw a voice pack required a separate .esp. Usually if the file is packed in BSA, you just name it the same as the esp from the main mod and use it to load the BSA. It turns out English is actually quite hard to pronounce, a large number of words have multiple pronunciations despite having the same spelling, when used in different contexts. We have over 950 words in English where the pronunciation or intonation changes based on context or usage of the word. So in the current model I've employed separate end-to-end neural network models, one for pronunciation and deducing pronunciation, the new Fast Pitch models, and another for energy modulation for emotion. This architecture is partly based on Fast-Speech, FastPitch v1.1 and the proposed RAD-TTS pipeline which was released last year by Nvidia at Interspeech 2021. This means that the system is now fully end-to-end, there is no longer a dependence on external aligner. Additionally we've matched this process with the new phoneme - based alignment method used by RAD-TTS. This allows more precision for accurately aligning pitch and energy without affecting overall processing speed. But that still doesn't solve the original issue of pronunciation. To create better pronunciations and energy control the issue must be addressed at training, not inference. Previously we were limited to training on either raw text interpretation or phonemes converted through fixed dictionaries. In this new iteration of the model I have now added a residual convolutional neural network for lexical stress detection and a feed-forward model for phoneme identification. This is where, in human speech, we would put stress on certain syllables of words depending on the sentence structure. This also is critical in helping pronounce words that may have alternative pronunciations. Well yes, it's partly correct. It uses an AI that's trained to generate voice lines based on input text. And to determine how the voice should sound, this AI got trained with voice lines from the game, together with their specific subtitles for a line. But those new lines are created entirely from scratch by the AI, it doesn't cut together existing voice snippets.

For direct dialogues with NPCs I can see the subtitles of whatever voice line they're saying appear when I close the conversation window (press tab), but it seems that whenever a voice line is playing the subtitles aren't appearing. Also for mods like Submissive Lola and possibly Public Whore, 98% of voice lines don't play at all (but subtitles do appear for those) and I'm not entirely sure why. Playing on LE and downloaded the LE versions, do I need to repack them anyways?

If you have subtitles checked in your game settings and you've doublechecked that you have the correct version of Fuz Ro Doh, then I don't know. You can try this for one mod as a test: unpacking the BSA's and just using the loose files (that should be perfectly fine for LE) and see if that works better.

First thing to check is whether you have Fuz Ro D'oh installed, and check that you have the correct version for the version of Skyrim you're running. It's shockingly common that people install the wrong version. SLTR is on version 2.0.64, but the voice pack is only up-to-date for 2.0.51. There's an update file somewhere in the SLTR thread to bring it up to 2.0.55, but it's still missing a lot of dialogue that has been added or reworked since then. I don't have experience with Public Whore, but most likely, it's the same story there. 1
