Request:  A "Restrict Foreplay Animations" toggle in the SexLab MCM that functions like the "Restrict Aggressive Animations" toggle that's already in place. It's kind of a bummer to start AND end with a foreplay animation... especially if you're unlucky enough to get the exact same one.

I tried adding them myself but in my ignorance, nothing happened. I added them to the mesh folder, ran FINIS, even registered new anims in sexlab but I didn't see anything new come up. The archive has a txt file explaining to add a list to FINIS, but I don't know how.

 

maybe we should ask Hotlof55 to use this for the framework ? it looks like there are some other animations made by him.

 

 

He was here, even gave instructions how to add those anims to sexlab yourself so im sure hes ok with that. Sadly Ashal skiped them for new version(s).

i have a problem with 1.55

After i install the 1.55v, the MCM of Sexlab dissapeared. 1.54 worked fine for me .

Any advice for me ?

This worked for me once.

Ran it and it said 34 menus found.

Right Sexlab was back.

 

Then a little later it dissapeared again.

So I re-ran it...

31 menues found.

 

Odd... 3 vanished.

But looking through the list only Sexlab was missing.

 

Downgraded to Sexlab 1.54 ran the command and Sexlab is back.

just one of it

all the time.

 

I'll think I'll keep 1.54 running till the next version.

having issues with some races....

 

had version 1.3X, "cleaned for install" using mcm option.

saved

closed game

uninstalled 1.3

installed 1.55

 

some of my races cant do any animations, I have attempted to use both submit and defeat.

(im not sure if its 1.5 or just sexlab and these races are newly created by me, and i never tested them in 1.3X)

Tried to move up to 1.55, Save-Exit-Uninstall 1.54-Install 1.55-ran FNIS, (sexlab was read) Back in game, SexLab didn't show in MCM. OKAY fine, ~ Setstage SKI-ConfigManagerInstance 1 , now I get 2 SexLabs in MCM ? No worries? leave game after a autosave and return. Guess what?, No SexLab in MCM again.???????  Again Setstage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1 , 2 Sexlabs in MCM, it works, none of my saved expressions or voices were saved. Back to my original Save, Exit- revert back to 1.54 .1.55 could have gone Better. Ashal, You have your moments, more than most, but 1.55 wasn't one of them. You're still THE MAN though.

 

i'm gonna say this one time so listen closely: THE MCM MENU SHOWING UP MULTIPLE TIMES IS SKYUI'S FAULT, NOT SEXLABS!

 

i've explained why in at least one thread already, but here it goes again... setstage is the console command for changing progress of quests - ski_configmanagerinstance is the quest in skyui responsible for finding and displaying MCM menus - if you see a mod that has 2 MCM menus it's ski_configmanager that did that...

 

 

You should read the whole last 2 pages again then.

The menu shows up when running the command but is disabled, later 2 show up out of which 1 is disabled, as soon as you save and reload there'll be only 1 menu but it is disabled til you run the command again which makes a  second show up which works..til you load again.

These animations were collected by me from different mods, the authors of which I express my appreciation and gratitude !

To install the animations we need programs : Notepad + + ( or similar prog , able to encode and convert the document to ANSI, Creation Kit ( or other compiler scripts) ... and start ... But , First make backup copies of three documents :

 

Data \ Scripts \ Source \ sslAnimationDefaults.psc and \ Data \ meshes \ actors \ character \ animations \ SexLab \ FNIS_SexLab_List.txt and \ Data \ meshes \ actors \ character \ behaviors \ FNIS_SexLab_Behavior.hkx them we will dissect ;)

 

1.Download and unzip the archive anywhere on your computer . Animation files folder ( meshes) to copy the game ... \ Data \ meshes \ actors \ character \ animations \ SexLab ( address ok )

 

2.Start Creation Kit, when loaded, select in the top panel , tab Gameplay line Papirus Script Menager

in line Filter write ssl, loaded scripts

3.Open the script "sslAnimationDefaults.psc" ( due to open in Notepad + +) how to do it I think you know (you have a file with that extension to assign to open the default Notepad + +)

3a.In upper part of the script (sslAnimationDefaults.psc) are making records in the relevant sections , copy them on one line ! from a text file " that is written in the script ."

 

3b.Coppy all registers , go to the bottom of the script (sslAnimationDefaults.psc) indents one line down and coppy the rest of the text of the document , " What is written in the script ." Make sure that the encoding is a dot on the ANSI! Save the ( closing ) script .

 

4.In the window Papirus Script Menager, right-click on the selected script sslAnimationDefaults.psc, and choose the line "Compile", if you have it right it will compile the script , if not, write the number of lines where you make a mistake , correct and compile the new . ... compiled script , close the Creation Kit

 

5.Open document entitled "FNIS_SexLab_List.txt" at ... \ Data \ meshes \ actors \ character \ animations \ SexLab. Go to the bottom of the document , do the indentation from the last entry on one line down and copy it all out document " What to write in fnis list " keeping close .

 

6.Start GenerateFNISforModders.exe in folder ... \ Data \ tools \ GenerateFNIS_for_Modders, press the big button with a long fatty inscription : Generate Mod Behavior, in the window that opens, look for our edited file : FNIS_SexLab_List.txt " at ... \ Data \ meshes \ actors \ character \ animations \ SexLab and " feed the generator it " clicking on the found file if all contributed to a sheet correctly will generate a new file FNIS_SexLab_Behavior.hkx at ... \ Data \ meshes \ actors \ character \ behaviors, t . hence where it belongs is , close  GenerateFNISforModders, and run orange GenerateFNISforUsers.exe and press Update Fnis Behavior ... no errors, everything is OK !

 

7.Start game , load the save, go to the setup menu SexLab in line where service commands (the bottom line in the settings) , click the " Reset registers animation" (or whatever you have written ) agree with the warning , leave the menu a very short time in the left corner of the screen animations that message of reset or something like that . Go back to the settings menu, see the new added animation , and then finding the appropriate team 's try everything ! Do not forget to re-register ZAZAnimation!

Is it possible to automatically have a female character (including player) equip the schlong from SOS during Sexlab sex, for whoever is in the "dominant" pose? I don't usually wear the cock and neither does NPCs, but I  want the cock to show only during sex. Right now I have "females equip strap-ons" in Sexlab settings unchecked, but that causes characters to not wear strap-ons but not have a visible cock either.

You could you sos equipable shclong and set it as a default strapon in sexlab. Tho it have some wierd positions sometimes. I also runed into some belly jewelery mod (elwin jewlery i bealive) that uneqiped sos unp schlong from my character for some reason. So when i wanted it i just took off the belly piercing and boom - insta futanari. As for more legitimate solutions - i don't think sexlab has such an option build in.

Half of human-human animations aren't working for me. Some of them do, some of them don't. for example, skullfuck doesn't nork. I donkt know why, this problem persists from sexlab framework 1.2x or so. But I decided to write about it, maybe you can help? Installed everything to the letter.

 

If not working animation is marked on aggresive animation list, doesn't work when used as normal animation. If it's unmarked, it simply crashes my skyrim.Why?

Hi, I have v1.55 installed and everything works fine except female pc doesn't equip a strap-on during animations; I have the option selected and calyps' strap-on is listed in the rebuild section of mcm, also they equip fine on npc's just not the pc.  Never had this problem in 1.39 and have tried upgrading, clean save install (disablemod, save, uninstall, reload game load, save, exit game. clean save with savegame scriptscalpel (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53045/?), reload save, save game exit. install v1.55).

 

Has anyone else experienced this (a search of the forum results with a different issue to this), any advice / help would be appreciated as its a bit of an immersion killer but I don't want to go back to 1.39 if I don't have to.

This is kinda funny to me seeing all of this.

 

I was enjoying the 1.52 version of SexLab when I, for reasons I cannot seem to fathom, decided that I needed to update to 1.54.  I updated from SexLab Framework 1.52 to 1.54, and lost full control over the facial expressions when I did it.  Now when any of my characters engage in sex of any kind, the only facial expression I get (besides the "Combat Shout" for oral positions) is the "Suprised" expression.  I have kept trying to get the "Happy" expression, but no matter what I do (or try to do) I cannot have my characters, some of whom fuck like minks in heat, to have anything other than a shocked look on their faces - which effectively makes me not want to have them engage in sex (it's fucking annoying).  This is made worse by the fact that I cannot downgrade to 1.52 because, when I try, the menus don't change, and I have no expressions AT ALL.

 

Now I hear that 1.55 is buggier that all get out.  I'm already gun-shy thanks to the changes forced on me by the upgrade to 1.54 so I won't touch 155 and I am VERY apprehensive of 1.56 when it gets released.

 

Why do I think this whole thing is funny though?

For all the people who would say *imitating haughty/arrogant voice*"Oh you have to keep SexLab current!  You have to always run the latest build!" I say:

"Yeah?  So how's that working out for ya?"

 

Bottom line?  I think there is such a thing as trying to be TOO perfect, and that's what's happed here IMO.  I'm not badmouthing Ashal by any stretch of the imagination because 1) The man does awesome work, and 2) I couldn't even begin to figure ANY of this stuff out.  I'm just saying that we have passed the point of "as good as is humanly possible at this moment in time" because now SexLab's just breaking shit.

Well the new versions of sexlab always add new features and bug fixes. Does that mean sometimes a unforseen problem pops up and breaks stuff? Yep it does, but that is the price for modding ones game.

 

Hopefully what ever the issues are with 1.55 will be fixed soon and we will soon have 1.56 version. Keep in mind 1.5 didn't come out that long ago so all this 1.5x are mostly patches for the main changes for 1.5

1.55 is fine, the bugs and issues are peoples own inability to do proper clean saves when upgrading or follow simple instructions listed in the FAQ and troubleshooting thread. I have absolutely no plans for a 1.56 at the moment.

So you went from 1.52 to 1.54 and something broke?  The first thing I am going to say:  Mod Organizer, anyone?  You could duplicate your setup, copy your existing saves, and play, preserving your original in case something happens.  You have only yourself to blame.  Even without MO, you could easily backup the saves and mods manually, then restore them when things break.  PITA, but hey...  Shit Happens when you upgrade. 

 

"Yeah?  So how's that working out for ya?" - SL 1.55 is working out pretty well for me.  Sex animations seem to be working fine, never EVER had the bent schlong issue with SOS and SexLab, and the only issue I have seems to be related to a mod using the framework (not the framework itself, although I am still investigating that issue).  Now in my case, I am not so tied to a character that I have to retain it through several upgrades of the framework.  When something major comes down the alley like a SexLab upgrade, that's my cue to start a new character with a clean setup of ALL of my mods.  Start fresh and not subject myself to the designer's (I am referring to Skyrim/ES, not Ashal or other mod makers) stupidity of burning the scripts into the saves :@ .  THAT is what causes all of the issues with upgrading mods.  Mod makers can make their mods as bulletproof as possible, but because of that bit of brainfart from Bethesda, we as mod users are subject to the crap fallout (not the game :cool: ) of the randomness of upgrading a mod.  Which is why I NEVER use Steam Workshop.  There are mods there I would like to use, but the stupidity of forced updates and the aneurism-causing Beth choices make it a "no-go" for me. 

 

"I think there is such a thing as trying to be TOO perfect" - so no one should be trying to make their mods better after getting out of beta?  Yeah, right.  So how's that Windows 98 OS working out for you???  Look, upgrades break stuff.  It's a fact of life.  If you are so worried that something will break your save, don't upgrade.  It's as simple as that.  If you are running a character that is extremely important to you, stop fucking with it (no pun intended ;) ...  well, OK, a bad pun intended :P ...) and leave it alone.  If you HAVE to upgrade, expect to kill your character.  This is why ModOrganizer is a big blessing.  You can create a completely separate setup to play with the new shit, and if breaks stuff, so what?  Kill that setup and go back to your perfectly balanced game and have fun.  Wait for the next round of fixes.  Done and dusted.  Frankly, people only have themselves to blame (oh, and of course Bethesda for script-hell) if they upgrade mods that could break their saves without adequately protecting themselves.  Oh, and maybe if more people helped out Ashal with the various Alpha and Beta testing (I include myself in that category - I am also guilty of not helping) some of the errors would have been ironed out.

 

Just to note, I don't use ModOragnizer myself.  I still use NMM ( :blush:  - Oooohhhh, the huge manatees!!!!!!) and it works fine.  I'm a bit of an old fart and set in my ways.  But recognize the value of a good tool like MO, which is especially useful for people who have their perfect setups/characters that they want to preserve, but who can't help themselves and try to upgrade to new stuff in the middle of a character progression and expect nothing to go wrong.

Perfectly understood and as a matter of fact clears out a lot of ... questions.

so to start asking the right questions about 1.55..

 

Where did fucked up and ended up without sfx sounds?

It could be a mod colnflict but i dont have any mods that come in mind that could cause this. Has anyone figured this out?

 

(By the way, 1.55 IS fine. Thats the only issue I have)

Ah, no worries. But what I said stands IF there was bugs then that is just the price of modding.

I will post that in the Zaz Animation thread too.

 

I have Sexlab 1.55 running, SexLab Arousal, SexLab Submit (newest version, there was an update), Matchmaker rev6 and just a sperm texture replacer. I installed all those mods as a first time on a save that has never seen a sexmod and all worked flawlessly so far.

 

Now I installed Zaz Animation Pack (newest version, v5.52) and it registered in the MCM and I could register all Zaz Animations in SexLab...but the issue is, the animations won't play. When I check the pillory sex animation as the only one (restriction for aggressive animations is unchecked) and wanne start it with matchmaker both actors just stand there, while FX and voices are running in the background.

 

 

Forget the rubbish above...without running FNIS generator (always the same dumb mistake...) the above effect might be the expected result of course...

azmodan - I had a same problem until someone told me to reset sfx sound in SL menu. It worked.

 

you mean the voice registry? yup.. done that twice :-(

First, the basics: I'm using latest Skyrim from Steam, SKSE 1.70 Alpha. FNIS 5.02 and SkyUI 4.1. I have upgraded SL with every new release, up to and including 1.55. The only two related mods I am using are Matchmaker and Working Girl, plus Aeon's strapon.

 

Since 139b, my facial expressions have not worked. No matter how I enable them in MCM, with or without other things enabled, they just don't work. I get stone-faced participants moaning through an apparently-excruciating (based on the pained, frozen expressions) sex experience. The good news is that all animations seem to be working fine.

 

Unfortunately, when I upgraded to 1.55, I lost MCM menus. I have tried un- and re-installing Sexlab and related mods, I have carefully read the FAQs and Troubleshooting guide, and nothing I do gives me the MCM menu for SexLab. The console command specified in the FAQs to be used when MCM menus do not appear is invalid- entering

setstage SK1_ConfigManagerInstance 1

results in a console/script error. Here is a screenshot of what the console reports about that command:

I uninstalled SL and related mods completely, cleaned my save, ran GenerateFNISforUsers, ran BOSS and validated Skyrim files with Steam, but again, got CTD on Load and ILS on New Game.

 

On a hunch, I reinstalled SL 1.55, Matchmaker and Working Girl, ran GenerateFNISforUsers, BOSS and got CTDs trying to load my 4 latest manual saves, but oddly, was able to load an AutoSave 5 saves back from my latest save.

 

So now I'm kind of back where all of this started- animations seem to work, but no MCM and no expressions. If anybody has any ideas I'd love to hear them. Thanks.

Hello Ashal and everyone

I have two simple questions :

1) Is it normal the ragdoll ending still affects werewolves even when it's deactivated in the SL menu ?
2) Are the creatures anims listed in the animation editor ? It's hard to say as there is not tag to differentiate them.
