So, FWIW, trying to install the SE Delta Patch 0.74 etc with MO2 gives a FOMOD error on the '00' files sections and offers you the chance to abort installation as it might not be installed properly.  The warning message says that files were not found in the archive, in particular

 

Folder '00 Shared\Scripts'

Folder '00 Shared\Sound'

 

I always install patches separately, and place them below the base mod, just so as I can see what they are overwriting from the original.  (I'm too long in the tooth to let anything overwrite anything without having checked it all first ? )

 

Here, tho, the patch installation has neither of those folders for 'scripts' or 'sound'.

 

But they aren't in the archive either .....  LOL

 

Fundamental question is 'Are they supposed to be, or not?' 

 

It might well just be a general explanation, but the post below (from upthread) can be read as implying that there are supposed to be some scripts to be overwritten ... ?

 

I may well be overcautious, but it would be nice to be sure ?   TIA for any help you can offer us all

yes, sorry, it seems that the 0.74 fomod ended up in the SE 0.75 pack, probably during one of the many roaming steps the SE version needs to be converted. ?
There should be neither of those folders in the delta.

 

Though I think you could still use the fomod from the LE delta patch.
(I can't upload it here, sorry. It's a couple of days that LL is giving me troubles with file uploads ?)

Otherwise you could create an empty mod on MO and install it manually.

My understanding now is that the Delta pack is an upgrade to the full mod installed by 0.74

 

And that, even though the Delta has installation warnings on MO2, just letting the mod complete installation in spite of those, it does then install everything that can be found in the archive, so no worries, as the archive itself is actually complete

if you looked every day and read this forum you would know the answer to this question.  Mods take time, and mods do not need an update every day to show they are being worked on.  But yes, it is still being worked on.

i just asked cause the last update was in april and thats a long time... i know that mods need a lot of time... I didn't want to rush anyone but just ask if I can still look forward to it, as many cancel their mods

As I indicated, just pop in and read the forum once in awhile. there is plenty of chatter here to indicate activity on the mod without 10000 people asking if there is any progress.

Is there a way to get a version without KS hairdo's as a requirement? I'm using a mod that includes KS hairs but with full physics and would prefer to have that mod than add a ton of superfluous hairs I won't use except to make this mod run.

No, sorry.

To do that, we would need to remake each and every npc our mod adds, both in CK and in the sculpt nif. ?

But if you can use xEdit, you could set every hairstyle in the KS esp to "not playable". It's just a few clicks, if you know how to batch copy. ?

Hey I just wanted to ask if the dollsuit issue has a common fix as none of the clohting from this mod shows up even after I batchbuild on bodyslide, and inside bodyslide the textures don't appear... 

 

Is there something I'm Missing here?

Check if your settings in Bodyslide are pointing to the Data folder.

It's a common issue to set the exe folder instead of it.

@friendlybrumby And if you are using a virtual directory based mod manager like Mod Organizer then also be sure to start Bodyslide trough the manager, not Windows. Otherwise all non-vanilla textures aren't loaded.

HI,

 

finally about to install this mod for the first time, but i do have a few quick questions, if i may, as i have read through the last dozen pages or so, but even then still require some clarification.

 

1. version .075 is forthcoming but not yet ready. and this version will not require the "delta" patch i see in the download section for .074. correct ?

 

2. there are no CBBE or 3BBB bodyslides at all, if this is the case, will there be ?

 

3. if .075 is close to being released, should i wait for it rather than install .074 ? i'd hate to install one version and then find that within a week or two, it gets updated again. i could use that time in waiting to try and learn how to convert UNP files into 3BBB, which would be more beneficial anyway lol..

 

anyway, i am very much looking forward to finally trying this mod out, as it has been on my radar for a long time now :)

Next update will probably be coming around next month, depending on how much free time we'll be able to spare (and its version number will be something between 0.76 and 0.8 ?).

 

2. We were contacted by a couple of converters, so there might be a BHUNP one and maybe a CBBE one, if I remember correctly.
Anyway, we won't directly support any other body type besides UUNP, but we will be providing links to them, of course.

ah ok, if it's that soon, then I will wait for the next update then to be safe. I feel it's totally worth the wait anyway, so thank you.

 

as for the bodyslides, if a CBBE version becomes available, that would be amazing. If I manage to learn how to convert from CBBE or UNP to 3BBB, then i'll give it a try and see if it helps. hopefully someone does it before me though lol

In 0.75 there are just a couple of quick edits to some outfits, to attempt to fix two or three issues.

Very well done mod so far i'm impressed and can't wait to see what you come up with. My ADVICE for people using any quest mod with many scripts is to build a fresh game with all the updates like Bodyslide and DD5.1 along with using skyrim STEP to reduce your papyrus conflicts. Along with EnBoost, preloader ect. typically what i do after a fresh install is load a good known save and monitor your logs step by step. After many years of this i have a papyrus log on a fresh save that has 3 log entries. Also make a backup of your skyrim "basic directory" with NO MODS but going throught the basic step process.  Sadly i'm seeing many peoples problems related to mods on this forum are related to the usual SHITLOAD of mods conflicting. Yall be doin to much LOL

I'm having trouble getting in. I keep filling out the paperwork, but when I'm done, the receptionist does nothing and the guard won't let me through the checkpoint. I've tried forcing it by disabling the door and changing, but nothing happens and no one will have relevant quest dialogue.

Did you also use the inkwell on the receptionist table? After that you should be sent to the checkpoint which has the changing room with chest. You don't need to open your inventory during that, you should get equipped visitor suit once you click chest.

 

Oh and there's many choices you can make on the receptionist, which "quest path" did you take? Each lead to different outcomes.

What a delightful mod!  I really appreciate the effort put into characterizing the NPCs, and that clearly a bunch of different options are on the minds of the devs.  Great stuff, and I hope development continues to go well.  I also thought the NPCs look nice!

 

Can't wait for more!
