I am trying to tweak a mod for my personal use. From the script I want to call your animation "Indarello FaceSitting Staged". I think calling the tags is not very reliable, too many options.

I can call the position, right?

I have to put the whole name: "settings.position =" Indarello FaceSitting Staged "?

Or will it also work like this: "settings.position =" FaceSitting "?

Thank you very much in advance and sorry, I am very noob.

name can be changed, I will add more tags in next update

@Indarello Thanks a lot for responding! So is a must to write full name in position, otherwise,  writing only  " FaceSitting ", the script would not find the animation. Ok

@Indarello Can't wait to see this be updated to support Savage 1.2 (was having the issue of AAF getting stuck at 30% with SC 1.2),

Chiming in to say that this mod has also been breaking AAF for me. With it on, I've been stuck on 30%. With it off, it's fine and works great. I patiently await an update, if one comes.

I dont know if this is helpful, but I had the same issue (being stuck at 30%). What fixed it for my was making sure that custom moans didn’t overwrite any animation files, which it did for some reason. Hope it proves helpful

This mod seems to remove some of the animations I had before applying this patch, like Atomic kissing and hugging (among others) and also with this patch I have nothing but staged animations whereas before I could manually select many more. Is there anything I can do to make all the animations non-staged and also get back the ones that this patch removes?

It's probably that you're trying to use it with (newer) Savage Cabbage 1.2 animations. Until this patch is updated to support them (hopefully soon), you'll need to downgrade SC to 1.1.

Or you can leave 1.2 installed and install 6.2 with savagecabbage  support disabled in the fomod, and wait paitently for the update : )

Hey @Indarello I noticed something while messing with animationData offsets in my own mod that I hadn't realised before.

 

If you use multiple different offsets on different stages within staged animation it will cause a very noticable jitter when the stages change. If you choose a slightly less perfect uniform offset that you apply to every stage it will play smoothly. I noticed you have a lot of stages with unique offsets and the jitter is present. A lot of these changes are trivial and I think you might be better off using the same offset for every stage. Just wanted to point that out in case you missed it.

Does someone know why AAF stops working and gets stuck at the Bootup % after letting mods overwrite eachother (Mostly the patches overwriting animations and patches overwriting others) ? It´s always a pain installing all of these because i have to decide what overwrites what to get something working. I am pretty sure im doing something terribly wrong and Im missing out on a lot of stuff this way.

The funny part of this answer is, The author of AAF is a sadistic pig( JK dago is actually a great guy) and likes to see you suffer, the serious answer is, something is installed wrong, most likely an unsupported version, read everything twice and follow it to a t. : )

This mod doesn't do anything unless you install the optional male body that comes with it. If you uncheck that option and just use your own body then nothing gets fixed. Sucks because I want to use the body I built in bodyslide. :/

Huh? I use bodytalk V3 and build my own male body with bodyslide and everything works just fine.

I did too, but for example almost none of the Leito animations work well unless I use the body that comes with this patch. If I use my own male body then the penis doesn't go into vagina for like 90% of the animations. The vagina also stays closed all the time. This patch solves the issue with the penis not going into the vagina but only when I use the optional body in the installation options, which I don't want to use. Also, the vagina stays closed all the time no matter what.

Are you using "Body that support vagina and anus penetrated morphs" as per the front page?  There are two different methods of opening orifices: morphs and bones.

 

This patch tweaks the various animation XMLs to open/close vagina using morphs.  That means you need a morph-compatible body to see them work.  Examples being Indarello's Fusion_vagionamorphs or CBBE.  If correctly installed, you should see opening/closing for all animation pack versions currently patched by this mod.

 

ZaZ+Fusion Girl combo includes built in vagina/anus bones.  Some newer animations were built with these bones in mind, like the current version of SavageCabbage (1.2.1).  Thus you would see opening/closing for SC animations but nothing for, say, Leito's, which was last updated before ZaZ existed.

 

Unfortunately the two methods don't seem to be compatible.  A vagina that supports morphs loses the ability to obey the vagina "bones" commands, and morph commands don't work on baseline ZaZ+FG.  TBH I think Indarello's morphs look better because they create tunnels.  The native bones sort of make a shallow spread opening instead.  However, using the native bones is a more elegant solution.  Either way, until Indarello releases an update for SC 1.2+ (or changes the way his patch works, I suppose), you'll have to pick and choose which animations have working orifices.

Ok, I see. I'm not very knowledgeable about all this stuff, but I think I understand what you're talking about. I appreciate the explanation. And yes, I'm using Fusion Girl with ZaZ. Do you happen to also know of any way that I can make the penis go where it's supposed to for Leito's animations like this patch does but using my own male body instead of the optional one this patch provides?

Afraid I don't know on the male body question.  I just use Bodytalk 2.75 prebuilt (Swimmer, I think).  Are your erections way off their target?  Mine match up well enough, even if not always perfectly.  I doubt perfection is possible given the range of mod authors and animations.  Still, you should see everybody's genitals in roughly the right positions.

Hey @Indarello I have a suggestion that would make life easier for other modders when they are choosing tags.

 

If you could add and tag the original versions of some of the positions that you combined into new staged versions. For example:

 

<animationGroup id="BP70 Missionary Staged" sequential="true">
	<stage animation="rxl_bp70_missionary"/>
	<stage animation="rxl_bp70_roughmissionary"/>
	<stage animation="rxl_bp70_romanticmish"/>
</animationGroup>

Here you've combined a neutral, a rough, and a loving position together into one position. If I want no kissing, or no rough sex I am out of luck... as you get all 3 no matter what rather than the variety of choices we had in the original pack's XML.

 

What I suggest is that you keep the new staged anims you've made, but tag them with Indarello and also include the original positions with appropriate tags (Preferrably matching those in Themes for consistency), using the original position names... and for those you could add a new tag "Original" That way if somebody only wants your version to show up they can exclude Original and vice versa.

I use BodyTalk 3.0, but had the same issue with the previous versions. I also use swimmer preset, with erection set to 100% and penis length to 40%. I took a few screenshots of the issues I'm having because it's kind of hard to explain with words. 

This patch fixes the issue only if I use the optional body, but I'd really prefer to use my own. I also don't like having staged animations only. I prefer manual selection.

Erection should be 0%, not 100%.
Been that way since BT 2.75.
Also don't check the options on that last page of the 'patch', same for the Body option.

Since themes has been updated. Do we still need to tick the box in the installer for this patch to remove tags? Or is that still the recommendation?
