So two quick questions. I've seen on/off toggles requested, could you add one for theft to that? I don't mind having my items taken when they're recoverable in the area I was defeated, but treasure hunts are really not my thing.

 

Also, I cannot for the life of me get milking addiction working. Both the machine and curaiss don't seem to be registering times milked at all, any advice for getting this working? For that matter, is it only specific pumps that count? I have the fancy bound set, but I'm wondering if I should try one of the others to see if that fixes it.

 

Edit: Changing to another pump set did in fact fix it, go figure.

I know Trauma is temporary, but you have to understand that 10 hours of game time is not temporary but long term temporary.

Especially when you cannot move away from the spot you are brought to after blackout without console cheating :)

 

You can wait it out, though. The 6 hours or whatever of game time passes while waiting

I have a different "problem" with milkmod. I have gotten the milk pump distraction to 100 but when checking current milk amount it's 0.45 so i can't even use any pump (except for machines), and lactacid is 0. Yet i get occasional messages roughly about: "Breasts so full, can't think!".

 

It's weird in other ways too, i have seen message about "breasts started lactating" but it has not gotten above that 0.45 for about a week. I know this is Milkmod issue itself if an issue at all. I don't know fully how it works. So they aren't supposed to grow at all unless i drink those things?

Yeah, that's an MME issue, only not really. I mean it's working as intended basically. Level 1 as a milk maid you don't produce milk unless fed lactacid or pregnant. Higher levels I believe you do. If you don't have another mod feeding you lactacid or one of the supported pregnancy mods, try turning on feeding during milking and/or the free lactacid in MME.

MME is full of high-cyclomatic complexity code with variables and algorithms that aren't documented or self-explanatory.

I have some doubts that it, or SLSO, really do what they set out to do.

 

Because the intent is often opaque, you can't tell if it's broken, or working as intended but just strange.

However, it definitely has some odd corner cases in its simulation (though that's probably not the right word for the sort of thing it is).

 

I keep hoping it will get revisions to ... improve ... its behaviour, but I'm starting to think Ed considers it done.

@Code Serpent Sorry for bothering you but could you give me some hints for how to increase the chance of triggering this? :) Is there possibly even a way to manually trigger it? I have yet to manage it even once. That's why I'm thinking that I might be doing something wrong or I'm missing some variable. :)

There's limited compatibility between the two, but you have to get the settings right in both mods. I use the "player/follower as aggressor" and "NPC vs. NPC" features of Defeat with DiD and don't have any problems, but I turn off the "player as victim" feature of Defeat. Both mods have automatic surrender options based on health/stamina/magicka levels, and an "OnBleedout" feature, and if you try to use both they fight each other for control and things get weird.

 

I haven't done either DLC questline since I installed DiD, but I'm assuming from your question that they are outside the scope of the creatures/races DiD handles. I suppose if you don't mind the immersion-breaking aspect of constantly fiddling with your settings, it might be possible to toggle Defeat's "player as victim" on and off when you are fighting enemies you know are not handled by DiD. Can't promise it would work, but you might get away with it. 

 

With a little work, you might also be able to get them to play nice together by using the MCM to decide which mod handles different situations. For example, turn off everything but "On Bleedout" in Defeat, and use DiD's health/stamina/magicka-based surrender mechanism but leave the "On Bleedout" option off.

Found a bug, using SexLab's reposition feature to move a scene will still trigger an escape attempt.  You might want to pause that while Sexlab is resetting up.

Thats a good idea, ill give it a go. I honestly prefer using this mod to defeat + SD+ as its more lightweight and more or less does the same thing. Thanks for the idea

PS maybe we can convince the mod author to add DLC support to circumvent the issue entirely eh? ;)

Speaking of the OnBleedout feature that this mod has, how exactly does it work? Do you go into bleedout with this feature on or does it only make DiD activate if you went into bleedout by other means?

I selected the "I hope someone saves me" option. I double checked that and also created a new character and got captured at level 1 just to make sure it wasn't caused by a broken save or something. Does the type of humanoid enemy or creature matter? I tried a few different ones with no apparent difference.

 

Would you consider making the likelyhood of rescue configurable in the MCM (or maybe some kind of modifier to the existing probability calculation)? :)

Found a couple of bugs.

 

Being defeated by 'Non-Persistent' enemies. Afterwards I cant talk to anyone. Its like its not clearing the no dialogue flag. This is with a follower who stays in the defeated position after the enemy despawns.

 

Found a bizarre incompatibility, might just be my complex setup. Amazing Follower Tweaks causes crash to desktop with an active follower after defeat.

Would it be possible for this mod to un-tamper devices when addiction causes them to be worn? When you have previously used a device and manipulate its locks, it keeps being removable without keys or struggling efforts. Ideally i'd not have that feature at all in my DD but that's hope for a future patch.

Yeah. When Kimy added that, she basically obliged every mod that wants to add devices, but doesn't add them if one is already present, to handle that untampering, and most do not.

 

It significantly softened DF compared to how it was originally, though there had always been issues with gags blocking you from eating or drinking in DF.

That's a part of DD that needs improvement, because mods that add gags do not typically consider the ramifications for needs mods.

How about a begging feature simular to sexlab dialogue that is quest related only while enslaved that also can start a sex encounter that can make trauma worst. How hungry are you??

The question is for what mod?

 

DD or DCL (not sure which actually) adds some dialog to beg for food/drink when gagged, which magically causes you to be fed, but it's not at all satisfactory. It doesn't know how hungry/thirsty you are, it sets a very low chance of success, and it doesn't fit well into most mods that use gags and have a dominant NPC in charge who should administer the food.

 

It tries to solve the problem, but it does not solve it. In this case, a quality solution requires the mod that added the gag to be more aware of its intent.

Some mods may gag you with the intent of starving you, so that shouldn't be ignored.

 

Others have other intents.

 

DF for example, merely wants to add a visible piece of bondage that is immersive. The intent is clearly not to starve the PC. In the case of DF, failing to have dialog for the PC to beg for food/water (which the follower could charge for) misses an opportunity.

 

With DiD, gagging by captors might be intended to starve the PC, and is a problem to overcome when you escape.

 

But when the PC is gagging herself as part of an addiction/compulsion, it's something else entirely.

Any ideas why I don't see the mod in the MCM. I tried reinstalling it but it never shows up in the MCM and it doesn't display a message that a new mod was registered.  The .esp is also checked on.

I really love this mod and the challenge it gives you when you get captured. It is hard and a reason to not want to be captured and all the those things that happen when you do. ;)
That being said; I have a request and an issue.
Request: is it possible to make this compatible with 'Wear and Tear'? Or even make 'Wear and Tear' features part of this wonderful mod?
Issue:  Once captured, I have no control, except when trying to escape. This is not an issue, but animation after animation, and the next thing I know, I'm stuck in a wall or behind an object I cannot get over or around. Anyone know how to deal with this?

I used fast travel to leave Whiterun so when I returned the toll collectors put armbinders on me. I make sure to pay the toll and ask to get the binders removed but each time I return to the town I get the dialog that I need to have restraints put on again.

Check the Sexlab hotkeys, there's one that allows you to repositionate.  So you can stand up and move around to a better place, after 7 seconds the animation resumes.

 

Apropos2 has wear and tear system and works well with Dragonborn in distress.
