I'm hoping you'll do this forge break down thing too The "all in one" has the slooty and broken versions for the items that are in it. It never occurred to me that it might not be "authorized", or that the Sun version wasn't either. (And that can be converted back to LE without too much trouble I would have imagined?) I haven't seen any discussion around the permission topic.
Aki K Posted March 13, 2021 Posted March 13, 2021 I've encountered an issue. My Solitude home was evicted from me. The debug shows no reason and the unevict debug option has done nothing. I purchased a perpetual property license days ago but solitude's house still has not unlocked. In addition, a similar thing happened in windhelm, but I didn't even own the house yet (blood on the ice quest) and there was no way to get inside to do the quest. Is there a more forceful way to unevict houses?

I'm guessing you have 'follower hands back contraband' off. Adding some kind of exception checking that a follower has both melee weapon and ranged and ammunition is going to be pretty tricky and probably add significant processing. Of course if the armor mod is not installed then you get the ! triangle mesh thing BUT Should the mod in question not be installed then it's source armor won't be available so it won't ever show in the crafting menu anyway Currently there are 2 ways of adding recipes. Built in and custom. I've detailed these a little on the features page (not finalized yet). But I'm thinking there's a place for a 3rd way that's a hybrid between the 2 that would be mostly 'built in' but with a tiny bit of custom which I think would reduce load game maintenance to 1 papyrus line per COBJ per game session (on first load only). Should anyone be interested in creating a pack I'd try to integrate it. I just need to finalize the system first.

If not run debug function recheck licence status in the wheel menu. You have no bounty in the hold. Clear your bounty You are not flagged as evicted. Also check Misc -> Debug -> mod events -> evict -> eviction forms. Should be None. Otherwise an external mod is evicting you. There's a known issue with windhelm with getting the key before owning the house.

It said none but my solitude house was still boarded up with no notice on the door. Edit: Did not work. The entire mod just broke in my file. My character's mouth opened and will not close even with the debug menu (I would recommend making the close mouth and open mouth separate options in the debug menu) I also have ahegao and open mouth disabled because it kepts breaking like this. So not sure what caused this. Also, either the license check or some change caused my armors to randomly get confiscated even though that license was still valid and new. Just random confiscation. So i have to load an older save and go back a bit. I'm sure the glitch will still be present but the solutions I've tried, probably not.

If it was in the MCM or a data folder outside the game I did not find it. Some odd things I noticed in the stats and info page: 1. It says I am not a thane in any hold. I am a thane in more than half (if not all) holds. I didn't do the civil war so exception for holds that require the civil war to occur like Windhelm. It also says I am evicted in white run and windhelm, but not evicted in solitude. Which cannot be further from the truth. I can access whiterun and windhelm homes now, but cannot access solitude. EDIT: For some reason if I willingly let my property license expire, the guard checks my armor license (which is valid) says it is good, but confiscates my armor. When I go to retrieve my armor, after a loading screen, my character's mouth start opens and stays that way forever. I think the mod completely broke down in this file. Nothing makes sense. Edit 2: Figured out the open mouth issue. Apparently it can still occur if the character is daydreaming at high arousal level, even if ahegao is disabled but only while talking to men. If it gets stuck and the open/close mouth debug doesn't work, I can use the vibration debug as a workaround. Other things I noticed, certain parts of my settings seem to have changed themselves. The arousal for daydreaming is set to 101, but it still occurs. Covering myself was enabled despite me having disabled it. Sometimes the covering mechanic in the wheel menu breaks and I cannot click on it anymore "Forever" in whichever save file it broke in. Still no idea why my armor gets confiscated when only my property license expires but it can be recovered by visiting the license agent without having to buy a new one. Also they only confiscated half of my armor? Not sure what the deal is, but only certain types were confiscated even though my armor license was 100% valid and only my property license expired. No matter what happens, whiterun and windhelm homes are open even though the stats say I am evicted in the. Solitude home remains closed even though the stats say I am not evicted. I tried discarding my license to force proper evictions and then buying a new one, to no avail. Not sure what the deal is, but maybe I should just delete this file and start fresh. I just don't want this to become a regular issue of having to delete and restart every time this mod breaks. or uninstall reinstall the mod if that's a workable option, would be almost as equally an annoying fix. Sounds pretty messed up. Might be best to just clean save at this point. You'll have to get the IDs of the doors and enable them via console again though.

I'm not adding any more this update. Unless it's a minor request or or bug fix. I've intended to return to the licence system anyway to try to make it a single sweep through your inventory instead of multiple.

The host process it creates its just for holding textures, meshes, etc. so the game client doesn't crash when those assets exceed the 32bit process user-addressable space limitation. 1

I hope they are able to sustain the enthusiasm and not get dragged down by posts like the one above. I won't say more about that mod because it's the SLS forum, not the SLTR one... I think if you look carefully at what @shiagwen is saying, it's just sympathy for those disheartened by Skyrim right now. They are frustrated by where their game is at, and they're bored of the mods they have, and lost in a nostalgia for a time when it was new and they forgave all the bugs. I don't think the intent was really to hate on mod authors. But I'm sure I'll be corrected... If I have to disable my entire license system to stop SLS messing up my followers ... that's not new ... I've been doing it since it was introduced. There's still lots of value in SLS without that, and there are plenty of other features in SLS, and also other mods, that will help eat all your cash or cause misery for your PC. Also, if you don't have a follower, the current license behaviors are probably fine nearly all of the time (which is as often as anything ever works in Skyrim). But in terms of new vs old, the current incarnation of the license system is obviously way better than when it was first introduced. 2
