I am using Legacy of the Dragonborn (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/11802?) alongside this Survival Mod.

 

In Legacy, you have a museum, a guildhall, and a player house which are entirely within Solitude. It is also Huge.  That museum is not recognized by Survival as part of Solitude. Every time I spend any time in there it is considered time escaped, and leaving the museum gets the player punished for leaving town within paying the tolls.

 

Does anyone else use these two mods together? Does anyone know how "The Player is Still in Solitude" is detected so that the museum becomes part of the city again (from survival's perspective).

There is an option in MCM under Tolls and Eviction tab to "include" custom cells in one of the Skyrim's major cities. What you need to do is:

- Enter the cell;

- Go to MCM and then "Tolls and Eviction" tab;

- Click "Add current location";

- You will leave the MCM and then a pop-up will ask you to choose between one of five major cities (to check just exit back to Solitude and enter the cell again).

 

You will need to do this for each cell you want to add to Solitude. Your changes will be saved into a json file, so you don't need to do it for every character (unless you delete/change the file)

I'm not sure if this is an issue, but when the forced enslavement happens where I guard handcuffs you and you ask a follower to pretend to be your master, it seems like it's impossible to reach a point when you can dismiss the follower. The contract time runs out, I pay off all deals and debts, even try sleeping/ advancing from a couple of hours to a full day. But the follower still insists I still owe them money. 

I don't have this issue when you hire a follower and accumulate debt/ pay it off and then dismiss the follower normally.

I think that's a part of Devious Followers, probably more luck asking there.

Yes, that is a feature of Devious Followers.

In my experience, you cannot dismiss the Devious Follower until two things happen:

First, they must add their regular debt you owe them because they work for you. How often the Devious Follower does this depends on the interval you set in the MCM.

Second, you must use the dialogue option to "Clear Debt - Follower will be dismissable".

 

The follower will say a line something like "Is everything okay? This seems strangely final."

Then you will be able to dismiss the follower.

Side note: I think I'm going to have to change BiS and SCO to reserve an overlay slot from the get-go. I'm noticing now that between trauma and rape tats there sometimes aren't enough free slots. And it's more noticeable that dirt/cum isn't applied than it would be for a tat or trauma. 

Did you get the textures to work right over time? No more blue body?

Hey, fellas!

Is there supposed to be some popping question when the male cums? Or is it determined whether to stip or swallow cum only by the mouth state (opened/closed)?

 

Upd: OK, I've just got a pop-up question.. but I still wonder - was it because the mouth was open? Or does it not depend on a mouth-state?

I am having an issue with tolls right now, specifically the toll box is not showing up. What happened is I had turned off tolls (and licenses) when I started playing for RP purposes, but when I turned tolls back on the boxes and table didn't show up, everything else works fine though, and I can still use alternate forms of payment if I ditch my gold first (since my char can't lie to save her life) but I can't pay with gold right now. I tried resetting the cells but no luck so far.

 

After looking through older posts about tolls I realize a better option would have been to set the gold to 0 (too late for that on this save though). If there is no way for me to reset and or spawn the toll ledger, box and table that is fine I can restart (not that far in and not the first time), I mostly just wanted you to be aware of it.

 

FYI, love the mod and thanks for your work!

 

Edit: I am using the SE conversion

 

Edit2: Managed to get the toll box and ledger to show up by turn off tolls and back again a couple times, don't know why it didn't work the first time but it does now. Chalk it up to papyrus being weird.

Obligatory note that I'm using the SE conversion!

 

I don't like using tolls and licenses for the simple reason that gold sinks don't appeal to me, but I love the idea of losing access to my properties when I have a high bounty in a given area. I'm just wondering if its possible to set up the mod so that we can have bounty-based evictions while tolls/licenses are disabled, or if that option might be added sometime in the future. :3

The newer licenses are all individually disable-able. Of the older ones you could just set a low price for a permanent one which would effectively negate them. 

 

and the toll can be set to 0 gold, and the restrictions on needing a follower can be turned off.

just fyi there is no functionality difference between LE and SE, SE just has a cooler DL page thumbnail. ?

I know there are some workarounds, but the problem with that is that I'd still need to

 

  1. Keep the permanent licenses on hand, and deal with the usual consequences if I lose them.
  2. Use the "toll" strongbox every time I leave, even if it actually costs nothing. (I would constantly forget, as history has shown. :c)
  3. Leave the toll boxes/guards/related static objects enabled. I actually just disable them entirely through the console, since they serve no purpose in my game. :x

It would just be much easier of the Bounty-related eviction could be enabled/disabled independently!

A request for some additions to existing elements;

 

For the hair dying, allow the color choice to be selected in the MCM.
Add armpit shaving as an option as well.
Give an option to put not just smeared make up on but regular makeup.

It would give a new roleplay element to the mod which would integrate well with some of the forced slavery/ submission mods.

But from a script stand point? Your taking about surgically removing interconnected functions.

 

It 'might' be easy, but probably isn't (only MM1 can really say for sure, and people have asked for more license ala carte style features which has to some degree happened. But i am guessing a full pick just the parts you want isn't easy or he'd have done it by now.) ?

I mean, yeah. When someone makes a request or suggestion, they're usually speaking from the perspective of a user rather than a creator. As you said, only MM1 will know for sure whether a suggestion is usable, but he might not think of a doing a thing unless someone suggests it. ?

You can currently use the json to determine what colors are picked from for hair dying, which isn't quite what you asked for but the functionality is similar.

 

I like your other two suggestions, +1 for those!

Have you used the hair dye setting? 

I turned it off because YPS has a hard coded minimum 21 day wait time or your hair becomes damaged, and I didn't know what would happen if hair gets repeatedly dyed.

It's not hard coded, you can set the wait in the YPS MCM menu

Hey, folks!

There are some options under Survival->Skills in the wheel menu such as "Place tent", "Gather firewood".. but they are all inactive except "Sleep on the ground".. So what mod do I need to make them active?

P.S. I have RND and it's bedroll, tent and tinderbox and I can use them by dropping'em on the ground and then using them while sneaking.. just thought it could be done from the wheel, which would be much faster...

I have used it, I changed the YPS dye wait time to very short so I'm not sure what does happen with damaged hair, but I removed all the natural colors from the json and it's working fine.

Why not just disable licences and tolls?

Eviction has only recently been tied to a property licence and didn't depend on it before and still shouldn't. 

 

Btw. Primary purpose of licences is to make you more vulnerable. Secondary is gold sink.

Might be something around the 3d being loaded or not being loaded. Seemed to work fine when I tested it though.

Popup depends on the mouth being open but also if you're being raped or if you're a cum addict or a skooma junkie. 

You can use the wheel to manually open your mouth if the animation isn't doing it for you.

Haven't looked into it further since. It's difficult to capture and is probably due to some very unique timing and circumstances that are difficult to recreate and understand.

Yea. I've done it. Stole the pain sounds from BFR (because they're more appropriate than the more sexual sounds already in SLS) and added a stagger and stamina/magicka damage. But no surface detection or any of that jazz which I think is where the problems start with BFR. Just random while barefoot and running.

Best to add the SLS_BikiniArmor keyword as it is then treated best as bikini armor. 

Adding to the exceptions list should be done sparingly as every item checked needs to be checked against the list. It's more intended for lanterns, picks, wood axes and utility stuff like that.

Ahh I have no idea about the teleporting but if the dialog options aren't coming up then it means animations of that type were not found for that creature. Arousal is not a factor.

You can block the selling of ALL licences (I'd have to check if the newer licences are included in that) via the API. And you can use the API to issue licences from a specific actor. But all this needs to be scripted. TesEdit aint going to cut it. 

Adding to the quartermaster faction might work but the dialogue would be fairly out of place I would think so you'd be better to make you're own.

No offense but A seems pretty toothless and B seems kind of pointless. 

Maybe try disabling licences altogether and investigate the 'Guard behavior' rules on the misogyny page.

So I managed to find a fairly decent hook (the update meter event). New option for a percentage chance to destroy a random licence when you become fully wet. Another licence can not be destroyed until you dry off and get wet again. 

But it's occurred to me that you're simply going to have to get wet some times so I'm intrigued to know how you plan to handle these circumstances.... ?
