Hi Srende, was attempting to try this intriguing mod but somehow the MCM menu is not loading up......have all the dependencies loaded...not sure what I am doing wrong. There is an MCM menu, right?

I installed this mod today and also had that problem i almost make post about it but it did work at the end i just had to wait way longer than in other mods, dont fast travel just wait re-enter MCM few times and it should appear eventually.

Actually noticed the same thing after starting a new game a week ago. Might be something to do with the setup it does on first load, but yes it should appear. Though as mentioned it takes a tad longer.

I do still have plans here, with quite a few event ideas. This mod is still missing the original event idea I had actually, and in general could use a lot more to have a nice feeling of the spouse doing things, instead of the current situation where you kinda have to go to your house for anything to happen. There's a reason for the name being what it is on development side as well.

 

WB :) As one of the few, if not only marriage based DD mod it's something quite unique. Would love to see new content.

 

And yeah the CK is a big piece of turd, I can't imagine working with it fulltime for multiple years while creating the game. Horror.

I was waiting for some kind of mod to come out with nice keyholding mechanic after first versions of DD, but didn't want to start doing it myself. Mainly due to the nature of it. Purer script mods are nice as you can mostly avoid CK and setting up scenes.

There was a nice keyholder mod a long time ago, unfortunately, its developer disappeared after a while.

 

 

 

Would be awesome if you could get permission from Kalarr to use his stuff. It is most likely out of date, but would be easier to build on some of his solutions, they worked nicely if I remember well.

Yeah, I remeber playing with that for a while but I was looking for something more involved. Hence this mod :P

Devious Followers has a keyholder aspect, but I haven't messed with it too much. Cursed Loot has the "dominant follower", for example Sasha (dollmaker's daughter) can hold your keys for a random(?) amount of time, and the dollmaker herself can hold your keys for time you set (all keys you loot get put in a chest somewhere out of sight).

 

In regards to PetProject, I really do like what you've got in place, but would like a more elaborate explanation of what the timers in the menu do. Is the session time the absolute maximum time the player will be in chastity prior to release (assuming you haven't opted into perm chastity)?

Try typing "setstage ski_managerinstance 0" and give i a minute or two it forces the mcm to reload. Usually works for me

The chastity period length determines the maximum length that one lockup can be, not including penalties from asking too much. This is determines determined at the start of each lockup. The first lockup is somewhere around 5 days iirc, and it slowly gets longer from there with each lockup period. The increase in term length on each lockup is not affected by the setting, it just stops increasing once you hit the limit.

 

The punishments from asking release too much then get added on top of that, so it's not the max time, just the max initial term length.

Hi i have married a custom follower who is marriage able. Everything was fine the wedding was not problem etc. but now the dialog didnt start. Is there way to force the start?

Ah. Suppose that makes sense. Current playthrough, I'm using Succubus Heart, which makes long-term chastity somewhat prohibitive. In my current session, I didn't see a way to ask to not be belted, or a way to suspend the mod temporarily, which is useful when trying to do a quest that isn't built around chastity. Question with how your mod handles duration. If the initial session is 5 days, but I set a duration at 5 days or less, how does that behave?

 

Before I reverted this save due to crashes, I had an option to talk to the spouse once the chaste pet system had started, and enter a "Master/slave" relationship. The spouse then told me something about picking up toys/collar/etc. Despite having items in inventory, best I could tell, any time I would attempt to talk to the spouse, I would see a message in the top left saying "quest item not in inventory" or something similar. Is this something I broke, or is there a way to continue this quest?

 

Also, my spouse is dead set on equipping the Protector Plus bra and collar, which at this time isn't compatible with the most current Devious Devices API so it can't be removed. It's not your fault or problem directly, but I've got "STEEL" set as the preferred finish in this mod, and not sure why it's continuing to equip a silver bra and collar when I have steel selected. In hindsight, I think i selected silver initially, but I changed it to steel when I saw it was the currently broken Captured Dreams items. 
 

My current request would just be a way to change the maximum lockup duration once a session has started, I guess. A way to temporarily suspend the mod without  completely locking out the mod on that save or uninstalling it would be really nice (Shout Like a Virgin has certain quest steps that require its own chastity mods, or for the player character to not be in chastity to progress them, so for those specific quest steps, these mods conflict, forcing me to use Cursed Loot's safe word or something similar, so an option to suspend this mod would be nice.)

 

Outside of that, this is a welcome addition to my arsenal of player-submissive mods.

That's from Captured Dreams' "chaste spouse" system, not PetProject.

I gets capped at the max duration anyway.

I don't like to have debug messages like that showing up as notifications, as mentioned, was probably from CD :).

Is it actually equipping the different item from your inventory? This directly references the pet belt when equipping it, shouldn't be a way to equip any other items, also it's never equipping any bras either so I have to guess it's another mod again.

 

The textures/model selected in the settings get applied on game load through SKSE, so I don't have to keep track of multiple variants of the items :P. So you should only ever get equipped by items prefixed with "Pet".

Yeah, that's an issue I've had as well. There are some plans but, nothing concrete atm.

I have an idea for an addition. Don't know if you like it, neither if it would be (somewhat) easy to implement. The basic idea is that the dragonborn is coerced into spending some time (and or a night) with his/her spouse once a while.

 

When the dragonborn has not been home for a while, a courier might deliver a message from the spouse. The letters can have a love-letter style and basically says things like "my brave warrior, I miss you". At that point, the dragonborn should better go home, because the next message that will probably follow soon, courier will also contain a devious device that gets equipped automatically. After all, you're married and that comes with a few responsibilities as well.

 

As said before, I am not sure if you enjoy this idea, and/or think it is easy to implement, especially the equipment of a device (with perhaps also a low change of the dragonborn getting a device equipped at the very first letter). But a first version, just a letter from the spouse, might already make the player experience being married while roaming device-free through Skyrim.

 

Anyway, thanks for modding and making Skyrim fun to play, even after all these years!

That should be pretty easy to implement actually. I just usually have the spouse as a follower so haven't had a need for anything like that. Won't rule it out though :)

Yay, the MCM menu finally did make an appearance ? One more question though: the mod page speaks of a soft dependency for Captured Dreams. When I start the events for PetProject, I see the conversation option to start the regular spouse play quest from CD- but I assume this is not the dependency. I played through 3-4 weeks (game time) of pet Project mod and only got the option to renew petPlay for another week at the end of each week. Is there any kind of progression event that eventually happens towards a state of permanent chastity or interaction with CD? Sorry if this is a spoiler question but want to understand what progression events there are and if I missed anything...

 

BTW this is a fantastic mod and would very much lend itself to some expansions ?

The dependency to CD is only for the belt textures, that are used from CD if installed. Use the scan other mods option in the menu and they'll appear in the belt style setting.

 

The permanent chastity is an option, but requires a few things to happen. Iirc there's around 30% chance for it to start rolling on each lockup start.

Or, if your sexlab stats at the beginning indicate a virgin character, that can be used to go directly to permanent chastity as well.

I love ? the mod, and especially the leadup to permanent chastity. But once that happens, it seems as if the mod is essentially over? Nothing else seems to happen. Your spouse doesn't ask for sex and doesn't make any comments about your permanent chastity either. Are there plans to expand on this aspect of the mod?

Well, getting to permanent chastity obviously stops the release scenes yes. But the other events should keep on happening as usual. Though I'm open to ideas on that front :)

Hello there, sorry for my bad english. really love your mod. some scenes was very interesting.

will you add more events like A Night out with friends? i hope to see more of cuckold/netorare-related event like this.
