uh is there a way to figure out what mod that is?  its pics of the errors in papyrus. i know its the settler and i didnt do it the violate mod did. but the error is happening to my character aswell. i accidently use the ddbench removal on my character before figuring out that u could see the dd errors with its settings in mcm. by the way thank you for this mod and all its updates an all u ppl that hang out here. :)

If that's NPC then is less probability, that mod is involved. For NPC protect system works different. It uses Fallout 4 original outfit bug. If this happen with NPC, then something went very bad. By default DD 2.0 RC9 stores all info into papyrus log files if it activated by player. So there is more info what going wrong.  If you have installed NPC outfit fix bug mod, then it should never trigger restraints defence system.  Only thing, what i can guess, that some mod force to NPC outfit and this outfit destroys restraint and then DD 2.0 RC9 try to put it back.

I see in picture int variable 39. It should never happen. it's means, that someone try to put on NPC in one time 39 DD items or this variable just hang up.  More i can say to see papyrus log.

As for player the same, need log file to analyze it more.

where do i get the log? also is the redress outfit fix mod needed? im not currently using it because im still setting up my game at the moment and i didnt want extra things on.

 

also it says i dont have something installed i think it has to do with the moans or something. ill take a pic of that.

First you need enable logging for Fallout 4

Then you need set back in MCM default style of logging in papyrus.

After exit the game in My Documents\My Games\Fallout4\Logs\Script

will be created text log files.

No it's not need. It was write after i made this fix and in theory, if you install it, it will stop restraints checking as bug will be fixed. So NPC will stay with damaged restraints.

my fallout.ini doesn't have the papyrus section do i add it? also do you happen to know what this is? action id 86

 

EDIT: oh i found it i guess i must of been looking at the other ini.

 

EDIT 2: my friend deleted my savegame so i had to remake it but im guessing im having errors still. i posted my logs. :) im going to do more testing and see if things break somewhere..

Papyrus log not show any errors related to DD. There is much errors by missing other mods and errors. if you want i can spend time to analyze those errors.

yeah i dont know if im missing a mod. i think I'm missing furniture that goes to a animation and also some kind of thing in uap is missing which isnt sited anywhere. i did a clean install with non of these mods and it still says FemaleMoan orgasm missing. so are the sounds for uh what is it called. squirming in dd? in 2.0 the sounds work normally in this RC9 version it doesn't.

@kannz You use MO2? check if old DD 2.0 is completely removed and disabled and if DD 2.0 RC9 is correctly activated all folders.

I use MO2. i reformatted my pc i don't use 2.0 anymore.  2.0 is gone. the new version is the only one i use now. even though the sounds don't work normally for me at the moment. it works better than it did before.  ill check the sound fx folder next when im on my pc

I’ve just had a hobble dress utterly bork my speed multiplier. I only equipped it to see what it looked like before assigning it to an NPC.
 

After removing it my characters speed was cranked up to ludicrous speed and reloading didn’t help for long. 

 

I tried applying other devices, swimming, sprinting to exhaustion but nothing would stick.  Also when I removed items that increased speed and re equipped it would make the speed mult value reported in the console vary wildly rather than consistently. 
 

I tried the debug option but that didn’t work either. 
 

In the end I had to use the forceav command to set the speed mult to 100 (default) which seems to have sorted it but now the destroyer

legs speed mult isn’t applied when worn.

High Heels - for normal slave boots work.

F4z Ro D'oh - for easy skip dialogues.

Added remove blindfold effect when AAF sex scenes working (need AAF)

Added extra free hands after remove items, what add torture spell - _TDnofight. In test version i add most immersive text about it as system message. Will be moved to log entries in latest version of mod.

Small DD 2.0 RC8 item fixes.

Removed from restricted  latex and leather corsets boots (new meshes is added to Devious devices Caysuit Fit group.  (CBBE only!). Now corset can wear with any body item and also different boots. Test version, if you not like later will restore back. There maybe clipping i not fix most items as test version. You can request those fixes in post, if you like new corset. CBBE only! Maybe in final version i will contact with most popular Fusion girl conversation author to update those files for fusion girl. All changes are in CBBE group Devious devices Caysuit Fit.

Removed linked refences in quests DD_Library and DD_ConfigQuest to avoid those variables shown as none. Duplicate some functions from DD_Library to DD_ConfigQuest to allow correctly work DD_Config quest without call those functions from DD_Library.

You can overwrite files in DD 2.0 CE9 Beta2 archive or install as separate mod. In MO2 be sure that this archive rewrites original mod. Files goes to DATA folder.

Clean save not necessary, but highly recommended.

If you use old save, before update, unlock all DD items from player and NPC. As those have old scripts and properties and will work wrong. And delete from game.

I made some easy tool, what deletes all DD items from container, NPC, or player. Just need put this item into container. Item name is DD item remover and can be crafted in Chemistry station or DD restraint bench in Miscellaneous Items section. Plugin will be added to this post.

To update mod, first delete old DD and install new.

 

What's new:

Improved equip engine. Idea by @Dlinny_Lag and @Kharos, most best mod Real handcuffs, where i got some ideas for that.

Fixed: (i hope) save bug, better performance as not load into memory custom events, BUT more papyrus stress as i need cheat original Fallout 4 engine (not necessary tools to operate references), fixed some old DD engine bugs.

Silent equip system. If you are in pipboy and some script will equip device, no more shows equip menu, but device equips automatically. (no more cheating =_=) This system fixes in DCW blank screen bug. Now if device have conflict and equips with script it send error in papyrus log (if it activated)

NPC still not supported (if you use restraints, still can be bugged NPC AI), but:

Easy operate NPC equip unequip system. No more annoying Remove me before close armor.  Correctly update NPC animations and spells. You can equip and unequip in one time many restraints. Note: if you try equip items what conflicts between, it will add more stress to papyrus. Possible fixed bug of wrong animations. it recalculate animations from equipped items and remove keywords if item not persists.

 

UPD: Please not use outfit dress mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/72657 - it can damage DD equip system (not hard, but soft, not tested)

Improved MCM menu.

Difficulty change now as menu with names (names is experimental, you can offer your versions)

For extreme lovers added wait anticheat (default disabled) - not recomended as there no normal remove systems and when your hands is tied, you can't nothing to do as wait in game stay on place. It's boring. if you have mods with NPC helpers. then yes.

For survival mode players are hidden menu disable sleep anticheat system. Reveals only if you are in survival mode.

Added new menu - destroy keys - it will consume keys if you open restraints - default off.

Filter for dresses - it's only filter as i added to DD and will disable random spawn of non restrictive dresses.  (corsets and dresses) Not included Restrictive corset as it counts as restraint. Default on.

As i added to this version high papyrus logging for search of errors, so i added chance to disable all DD logging. Note still need turn on papyrus logging in Fallout 4 to work it. Also there is variant outcome log as system messages. Not recommend as it spawns many system messages. But in short time you can turn it on and see what's happens. Default - papyrus logging. 

 

Reworked tentacles - now you need craft item in Chemical station to remove it. 

 

For mod makers is added some new functions 9old functions will be compatible with other mods - i hope):

Will count a few (others will be described in full version).

RemoveGenericDeviceByKeyword works now with NPC too (thanks to F4SE)

It works faster if inventory is empty and slower as more items in inventory as it needs go through all inventory.

Functions not tested much, so can be some bugs.

New functions:

  Reveal hidden contents

Form Function GetEquippedGenericInventoryDeviceByKeywordAndOrBipedSlot(actor akactor, Keyword DeviousKeyword = none, int bps = -1)

Returns inventory device form equipped by parameters. You can set only one keyword or biped slot. Biped slot can be set as biped slot or index (there is check of it) it reads keywords from rendered devices too, so you can use keyword not only as devicekeyword in inventory device.  If you set keyword it will return first found device.  If you set both (keyword and biped slot) - it will return only device what is equipped in biped slot and have this keyword. If device is equipped in biped slot, but keyword not match, it will return none. Note: if you use biped slot, use main biped slot as F4SE can't read not main. For hoods it 46 headband, for boots it 44 {4] - left slot.

 

Bool Function RemoveGenericDeviceByKeywordAndOrBipedSlot(actor akactor, Keyword DeviousKeyword = none, int bps = -1) - the same as previous, but instead of return form it unequips this device.

 

All functions work with NPC too and speed is depend on inventory items count.

 

DD database is not used (but i not remove it) As i know only one mod uses it. 

 

For Fishnet dress texture was low resolution, so i don't know if can use hires texture from Skyrim, because i made my own texture (not very good, but work):

Add new device with colors from DD secret item collection (as tentacles was added)

Rework textures and colors of non restraint corsets and dress.

Continue fixed leveled lists and constructible objects.

Remove unnecessary bodyslide files and reorganize folders in bodyslide.

Fix some bugs (if you report it and it can be fixed)

This is crashing Fallout 4 VR on game startup (not game load - it happens before the first video loads during startup). I'm trying to figure out why - but I can't find a fallout 4 vr crash logger.

Any ideas why this might be happening, or what the crash loggers are for fallout 4 or fallout 4 vr?

Well, this is something - launching Fallout 4 VR from Vortex does *not* appear to run F4SEVR. But if you run that app directly from Steam VR, it does.

Edit: Ah, it's been so long, I forgot -> Hotfixes 2 & 3 don't work in VR, because TortureDevices 2.22 doesn't work in VR. The last one that worked in VR, I think, was TortureDevices 2.1a. But DD RC9 with the hotfixes don't work with TD 2.1a.

Listen, @Elsidia - I know it's generally @Kimy's policy not to leave available old versions of the mods; but this is one of those situations where that leaves out an entire classification of gamers (VR players). I'm asking you both - pretty please, leave out for download a few patches back. I believe everything before the DD hotfixes actually worked in VR.

You can note in the post that you don't support old versions and still leave them available for download.

And if you need a tester for VR (I know it's a limited market), I'm available - I'm both reliable and technically minded, and have even written mods of my own.

In fact, I have a proposal if @Elsidia, @Kimy & @EgoBallistic (I had to look up the author of TortureDevices lol) will indulge me - Make older versions of the mods available to me, and I'll create a vertically integrated download for DeviousDevices & TortureDevices that works in VR. And I'll ensure it works in the current Steam release of the "flat" version of Fallout 4 as well.

 

As a side note, and this is nothing to do with Kimy, Elsidia or EgoBallistic - but, this is also one of those situations that shines a light on flaws in the general policy of disallowing vertically integrated downloads (where a mod author makes available all the dependencies in one download, instead of requiring gamers to go out and download them from their origins). I fully understand *why* it's this way - but it's a clusterfuck for gamers who play games that have multiple officially released versions (Skyrim, for an example, has LE, SE Steam, SE GOG, AE Steam, AE GOG, &VR just off the top of my head).

So i fixed it. Dont remember which mod caused it, but it was most likely some wierd mod conflict.

If You know, why DD 2.0 RC9 can crash with VR, it will help. Also i not tied to latest TD mod RC9. Only RC8 was tied to some torture devices as those add new animation, what uses RC8. If You can explain why DD 2.0 RC9 not work with old TD and how it look not work (errors, messages) (unless this version not have new animation) will be nice.

Sorry, I had a little trouble understanding that. Are you saying DD 2.0 RC9 *doesn't* need TortureDevices?

Edit: BTW, I tried it without TortureDevices, and with TortureDevices 1.9 and it crashes with both. It's the same error log (Attached) - Looks like it just keeps crashing on Actor::ShouldCutNavmesh

I don't remember straight what version needs, but depend on my downloaded mods picture is this:

Any DD needs torture devices as this mod contains tied animations and tied effects. (nofight etc)

DD 2.0 needs TD 1.9

DD 2.0 RC8 needs at least 2.1 (maybe 2.0, but i don't have downloaded it) - that's because in one of those versions shows up new bunny hop animation used by RC8.

RC9 itself needs only TD, where is this new hop animation, the same version as RC8.

Hmmm...the crash logs aren't any help. But I noticed the crashing seems to happen during F4SE's stuff. However, I don't see any F4SE libraries in Devious Devices. Does DD have a dependency on a mod that's written for F4SE?
