Sad thing is they have more money even if they don't have any money at that time. Chances are they owe nobody.. Most people have thousands if not tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars owed. In essence.. they (the common person) is a slave. The homeless is actually free.

Watched another 'How big is the universe' video and had to stop near the end when a grain of sand was used for the 'earth'.

 

Too big to use for a reference. Try a grain of sand for a galaxy - and - we might get somewhere in mental representation.

 

I was even thinking a hydrogen atom for our solar system. We need something small enough to understand the vast distances.....

The earth represented as a grain of sand is a very common and flawed way of representing vastness. I think it'll unfortunately stick for a long time because how easy it is to convince of to the average person.

A few people keep asking me to simplify some of my mods/add more choices so all they have to do is click a fuckin button. Nope! You want different than what I'm giving you? Learn how to mod a little. You'll be doing yourself a favor. Who knows? Maybe I'll be complaining about shit on your mod page some day! :classic_biggrin:

Like when I started modding, I was one dumb-ass, knuckle-dragging neanderthal about it all and some folks here on LL can attest to that, lol. So I looked shit up, asked questions (and maybe got a reply or laughed at) read and re-read instructions, watched vids, you name it and I learned......and I still have a long way to go.

I could make things very simple and add lots of choices. But, I really want people to get off their ass and learn some things like I did.

 

Besides, a few of them might move on to make some really excellent mods some day. :thumbsup:

I was just thinking about how crappy my life is and then I remembered that I don't owe any huge debts to anyone like so many other people. Like my neighbor was paying a lot of money per month on her almost new Jeep and things got so bad that it fucked her marriage up since her hubby got tired of busting his ass to pay for it (she can't work) and they are close to divorce. I fuckin' told her to let it go back and get something they could afford, but, she just shook her head saying "I love my Jeep!". Pffft. :smirk:

 

But....yeah, the homeless are free. Free to take a final leap off a tall bridge as far as anyone is concerned.

Yep.. just got hit by the Bad Gateway errors. According to them it is the site itself and not cloudfair that is the issue. :(  Oh, well.  I will refrain from checking post and such and hopefully leave some bandwidth to those that need to be here to pick up a mod etc.

Yes, and normally I can jump on here and have some slow response but ... not the error and disconnect. 

 

The issue that I experienced about 10 minutes after your report wasn't a internet issue it was a site issue. The page sh own that cloudfare was working (at that time) and the site was unresponsive.  I don't know if that is what was happening to you but if it was, your throttling of net from your provider likely wasn't the case in this case...  However that is only as far as I u nderstand this ;)  In any case, it seems as if it is working again.  It usually resolves itself a few hours after for me at least.

Well at this time of posting no problems and no slowdowns either. This site is quite large and difficult I can imagine keeping things flowing well (and expensive) when everybody decides to suddenly jump on the site at the same time ... ;)  I can imagine that happening.  It is the nature of things IMO. 

 

Anyway , I usually leave and come back a few hours later and check when there are issues like that so that people htat need a mod or two or something can have a possibly easier time jumping on.

It is too bad you haven't posted some of that work here.  Perfectionists always sees the flaws in their work, while others are amazed at the work.  

 

Everyday is a new chance to make that perfect art, though that takes time.  Your Sims 4 shots are, btw, good though I am biased to your fallout 4 screen shots.   What did you use for the Cait redone?

i dont feel like i ever have enough time to improve or practice. when ever my depression comes back i procrastinate and feel like i am stuck in a pit, or sometimes i am so occupied with routine things like job and studies i feel overwhelmed and just dont find the time and energy for practice and work on my art.

the screenshots are just random nonsense i make whenever my mood improves just a little bit, for the Cait redone i did not use anything just a mash up of different clothing mods that i put together because they look good on her and match well with each other.

i could link the mods i used if you want so you could replicate that look if you want.

I can understand that.  My house is filled with projects that have yet to be completed.  I get about 80% done then (for me) I lose interest and move on to the next great idea.   IT is funny how some of our day to day stuff ends up taking far more time than it should, especially if you have others counting on you for support (financial, mental, spiritual, etc.)

I have several of VTAW, but like someone else pointed out, when clothing takes up armor slots (and has no armor or not even high enough) then I  tend to delete that mod.   I would like the mod list though.   I want my FO4 to be filled with beautifully dressed (and super hot) females.   I shudder at the thought of those that still play FO4 with the original looks....
