A bit of cherry picking.   I believe TV in the 80s (and the 50s, 60s, and 70s) was biased toward.....profit making.   However, it is always enjoyable to watch someone opine on what they think were going on in the 80s, as if everything is going to some "master plan".

so, a few weeks ago, I had a wierd dream about an ex-girlfriend, that I haven't had any contact with in the past 12 years.

I can't really remember the dream, only one picture I have still in my mind, that is her (looking as she looked 12 years ago) standing on some grass, holding her tummy and crying

yesterday I ran into an old friend, that still is in contact with her and she told me, that my ex gf lost her unborn baby a few weeks ago...

Now I am shocked and also have a really wierd feeling about that dream

People still get into long heated debates over Skyrim politics which just shows how effective the game was at setting up an ecosystem that's "not realistic" but also very realistic. Like, none of the premises are real in any way but they have such strong parallels to real world stuff that people just can't help but get so invested.

About the Loan Thing.. Can't really say much about it. I mean if you want to study in my Country, sure it costs money But i never  had Big interests in it. 

But feeling ass hurt because a new Generation of People doesn't have to pay off a Loan you had to pay years back? Kinda off.. If anyway It would give me hope that those People that benefit form it change the entire system later during their Lifes and make it more affordable for less fortunate People with good Brains but too little Money

 

I think it's just a natural aversion to physical exertion, or people just not pushing hard enough the moment they start feeling tired and groggy. This is most noticeable in the gym, you have people that do some mild workout and then go back to staring at their phone, worse if they're sitting on the machine that others could be using so you have to go ask them "is this free or do you have more sets left?". I workout like a madman so most workouts look mild to me but man, at least try to push a little, you've been chubby for years now lmao.

 

The loan thing is only getting more hilarious. These people are actually brain broken to the point of saying "wow i can't believe the government is forgiving debts in order to buy votes from the public" like the fuck you mean? That's literally what a government's job is, to invest in economic welfare in order to gain favor, how is this a point of contention? So stupid lmao.

Oh it was supremely tough. I was basically a psycho at one point, someone looks at me funny and i would go full crackhead mode on them. At the time i was proud of how none of them could take me in a fight and therefore keeping their distance from me out of fear, i didn't see how awful i was being. Sometimes i just physically cringe thinking about that kind of stuff lol. In hindsight, 2017 was actually worse for me because by 2018 i was gaining a lot of control over myself, 2019 was the last year where i felt i still had some of "old me" left, 2020 onwards clean as fuck.

i notice that a lot of what everyone of every walk of life freaks out about are a bunch of nothing burgers lol. some things that shouldn’t be interesting enough for headlines/videos are somehow international news/viral trends. i feel like the fact that this was also a zero-effort texture swap mod make it an even bigger nothing burger that people freaked out about. i’m trans so of course i hate seeing the rampant and growing hatred towards lgbt people, but really, everybody needs to choose their battles.

 

as for what’s on my mind, i’ve broken my eye-blood-vessel-popping record this semester lol. at least one pops in one of my eyes every semester. we’re not even 2 full weeks in and i have one in the left eye and two in the right, it’s wild. my eyes are just not having a good time lately lol.

I spent a lot of time and effort to learn English language. Sure, there have long been abbreviated words and acronyms as part of everyday life, but the shortening of EVERYTHING, seems to be acutely newage, and from a generation who feel whole words take too much from their oh so important lives. Things like "LOL" or similar, do speed up texting... OK... But it now extends to very common words being cut to ridiculous. Recommendations is too much, so now "recos"? Dermatologist is "derm"? 

 

We are enjoying the view as today's youth "evolve" to use of gutteral caveman grunts, and baby talk. So sad.

It's what happens people lose touch with what's actually an issue in the utilitarian sense and fixate on aesthetic depictions of their political proclivities. People are picking their battles, just not the practical ones. It's either "gay people are literally evil pedo spawns of satan and their degeneracy will end the world" or "this idiot made an edgy joke about a sensitive topic so he's literally hitler".

 

People aren't interested in meaningful socioeconomic growth, it's all about how to scream the loudest over the dumbest shit imaginable. OOF, that sounds extremely rough. Does it hurt when that happens? The idea of eye injuries, especially internal ones always make me wince. I wish for a speedy recovery and a proper treatment of whatever's causing this. (I mean college is hectic enough to give anyone eye popping migraines so i feel your pain in that sense XD)

I can't understand it really. I mean ok I do this for years now, but Ambition to finish a work properly and in Time was never a big problem of mine. At least not in the long run. Sure we all have Days, sometimes even Weeks were we don't do so well, but in general? If you gotta do it, at least do it right and have a bit of fun while doing it. Working labor can be fun. But i get what you mean, most People, mostly the younger Generation (I know, old man rants about the 2000 Kiddys, but really.. It's True for the most part.)  Just don't want to work physically harder work. Instead they choose Jobs were they run smiling into Depression and Overwork while gaining weight or degenerating muscles they should really keep an Eye on. Like many People go woke, not because they really believe in it, but because many of their Friends became it. It's like being Vegan cause your Girlfriend is. What does your Diet have to do with your Social Life? Nothing, only thing that changes is your go to Restaurants. (I Won't start any kind of discussion about Woke, vegan, or any other thing Big USA started..I'm smarter then that ?)

I've seen Deviantart.. I've been there.. I saw things that no one should see and I read a few things no one should read. And actually having to draw those things.. Yeah I have a rough idea how cringe that must be. I don't Kink Shame most of the Time either, but I don't have to work on things I have no interest in ?  But I do understand them a little. They HAVE to hire someone to make their erotic content for them most of the Time. We who we are into more mainstream things like young Women, Insert Job here, and specific sex practics have it not only easier to find our Art or Porn, but find Partners to do it way easier then them. That's how language works. Your generation did the same, the one before did the same and so on. All things evolve, trying to ascribe some kind of "dumbing down" based on people using shortened words online is simply silly.

ohhhh the extremes too. so many love their extremes. the world is turning very black and white, and people are losing their ability to see gray. but the thing is, a majority of the world is grayscale. in art the only things that are pure black are silhouettes and the only things that are pure white are pure highlights. the rest of the content of an art piece lies in the gray values. even black and white pieces usually rely on gray values to complete the full image; otherwise, unless that’s the intention, you’re left with only part of a picture. 

 

the second part is also very true but i don’t want to elaborate a lot on the basis of LL’s supposed politics rule lol.

it actually doesn’t hurt at all thankfully, i don’t notice until i see it in the mirror. i have some very fucked up eyes though, severe dry eye, likely permanent anisocoria at this point, popping blood vessels lol. but i’d actually say my eye issues are probably the least painful for me personally. most of my eye-related pain is related headaches. and thank you, i appreciate it! and it’s absolutely college causing it ironically! i’m in an extremely computer-based field, i’m talking maybe 5% of our time working doesn’t involve screens unless you’re in a drawing class, in which case you still spend a majority of your time drawing digitally. since my eyes are so dry and i’m so chronically stressed (at basically all times) the light from working on my screens irritates them and probably makes the vessels more prone to popping; you can even pop one from coughing or laughing too hard, or rubbing your eye too hard. so it’s really nothing to be concerned about at all, and if you ever get one, all it needs is a tiny bit of time and eye drops can help the redness!

A big part of workout is just diet. If you take care of your calorie input/food quality then you're pretty much set anyway since you work in manual labor. My advice is more suitable for hobby fighters like me and office birds that don't get much physical workout at their actual workplace. I just go nuts on the heavy bag if i don't feel like doing anything particular lmao.

Me neither to be honest. I get not wanting to work that much some days cause you're groggy or tired from something prior but still, people just give up too easy. I have no idea why they're like that, i love exerting myself myself physically. It's like a rush that's almost addicting even, i love to sit around too though but i guess that's just my duality XD

Yeah i get what you mean, lot of people just attach themselves to an aesthetic that they think best describes their own self rather than believing in it for practical and social reasons. Oh yes, i was lonely as fuck during then. I burned a lot of bridges so i lost a huge chunk of friends in one or two swoops. I was hanging out with all kinds of weirdos just like that. The moment i snapped out of it i just felt so much guilt that i actually got sick XD But yeah i'm a changed man now. I love the people who love me and i'm always positive, even when i'm dunking on idiots during arguments lmao. Life is way better this way.

Lmao understandable. I think what i find fascinating about furries and bronies is that their style of "sexualization" is not typical, even by our extreme standards. Oh it absolutely did, i think being able to draw some really extreme stuff can help you get a better understanding of general art principles as a whole (not always, but you learn a lot about art when you try to draw a quadruple amputee woman getting brutally beaten and raped all the time with a smile on her face so there's that XD)

Yeah i understand, i don't wanna spark a political controversy either but seeing as the rule isn't very tightly enforced i think i can add something too without crossing over the line. There are certain users who very clearly don't give a fuck about the rules so i think there is some wiggle room to explore at least. And yeah i agree, a lot of people are like rudderless blimps, they go along with anything as long as it vaguely confirms their innate political biases no matter how extreme. They eventually do get their own Hindenburg moment though, that's the point of no return

On that note, you can try these maybe if you've never tried them already. I hear they're pretty effective at preventing over straining of eyes through prolonged screen staring.

True. I wanted to do that a while now. I am not really big overweight anymore but the last few extras, i would lose too At least taking the last few steps ? Would be easy to change too. I wouldn't say a Rush, but I have fun at times doing simple stuff and the simple parts of my work make just more fun when you do them fast. That and the faster I'm finished with that, the faster I can go about something more interesting and the faster I am done with that, the faster I can go Home. We don't really have strict Hours at my Workplace, if you're done and there is no way you could finish another job in Time, you don't have to.

(Well, until Mr. Numbers changes that too. But then.. Most of us will Flip him the Bird.

Hosting this Site costs money. So does roads, hospitals and other stuff in general the City provides. If nobody pays it, we all are going down. And hey, it's not like i can't life decent from 3 Fourth of my Money. Since I am not a big Spender, I would say I have a good sum for rainy days too if something breaks and stuff.

Well it's not like I won't do Khajiit scenes in my storys and that I won't do more beastality stuff in some chapters. (Especially in the other story I'm about to make.) So I couldn't be extremely judgy even if I wanted to.  Just some of the drawings.. Well let's not speak too much about it. Furrys are actually People i don't want to trash talk like I said. Reading Erotic Comics and Manga actually helps with Blog Storys too.. I do read from time to times, even the more extreme stuff. Just to see "What dialogues to those fuckers use during sex. And mh.. Can I do something like this in skyrim too?" Usually the later takes so much Time that I usually don't do it..

very much agree honestly on all points honestly. i do wish there was more self-thought involved because that’s how we innovate as humans, and i also wish people could know when it’s time to shut up when nobody asks or cares lol. but hey, humans are generally not known for their practical use of common sense.

always do everything you can to protect your eyes, lest ye end up like me lol. i had 20/20 vision as a child with absolutely no cause for concern with my vision, but over the past several years it’s gotten very bad. thank you so much for the well wishes! 

 

and these are great, i love blue light glasses like these and i use them a majority of the time as well as my computer’s nightlight. however when it comes to times that i need to see accurate color (drawing or texturing) i do have to take them off and turn the nightlight off as well. but those glasses are great, and they’re also good for protecting your eyes from being damaged even if you don’t have any damage already! they’ve spared me so many migraines.
