Yes, she was his Wife. She wasn't even a Jarl but after his death she suddenly became the Ruler of one of Skyrims biggest and most important Citys and anointed High Qeen of all of Skyrim and THINKS she has true claim to it because her Husband had the position.. A Position that's not hereditary ? To make things better, it's her only Argument when asked why she should become Queen.. Fuck her to the Moon man, even the drugged out Hobo of Morthal could do better and this one.. Actually says has Visions and doesn't get shit done in her own.. Village? Why does Morthal even have a Jarl.. It serves not a single use other then catching Bugs ? And would somebody give her Daughter a Makeover to look like adult Wednesday Adams already? ?

If your Parents, Family or Friends tell you from the very beginning you're better then the Guy working down the streets and that he is less intelligent then you, you start to think that way too. If you Study and your Teachers tell you something similar or bullshit like "Lazy People do the trashiest jobs because they didn't put effort in their Study's" This Thought becomes even stronger and so on and so on.. Media is to blame here too. And all of it gets a few levels worse combined with the already mentioned Sensitivity of People nowadays. No matter how old or young they are.. I get it, you don't like how I tell you stuff but ya know? Maybe try listening for a Change and Think if the Thinks I tell you might be.. *Gasp" Reasonable and maybe even Logical? Yeah.. Everytime I need to talk to the "Not Ceo" ? Let's just call him Boris. Everytime I need to talk to Boris, I have to talk very, very slowly because I can't talk to him like I would to everybody else and I need a few Moments to remember how to do that. I've been working this Job for a long Time, before that I was an extremely shy and polite person.. The Job fixed that :classic_angel: So you can imagine how hard it is sometimes to go back to those already forgotten way of speaking and acting, especially if everybody in your Life talks and says exactly how and what they are thinking (Minus when they are lying of course. Everybody lies here and there.. I mean more their Way of Talking and their Attitude.)

So everytime I have a Talk with Boris I feel like I'm acting because i actually do. And you want to know the saddest Part? Boris knows everybody acts around him and only talks to him that way and he actually likes it. I'm serious, I overheard him saying that. What kind of Person likes it when People play pretend in front of them? ?

Yeah that makes sense. She is put on that position by the Empire to create a buffer against opposing sentiment, having her already occupy the High Queen position will deter any attempt to claw for the throne because that would be considered treason. I doubt the drunk hobo can do any better but Elisif certainly can't do anything substantial herself so it's just a zero sum game.

Exactly, classist tendencies are rampant here which is best observed by the way people treat fast food workers or janitors here. I remember hearing those exact same thing at school, that if we don't study hard we'll be moping the floor like the school janitors and the worst part is, the janitors knew about this. Not only these guys are massively underpaid but they have to quietly listen to insults on a daily basis because they happen to be poor, even though they perform very necessary tasks.

 

Just today (well a little before today) the government here announced an initiative to mitigate the debt economy loop by forgiving big chunk of student loan debts which were already criminally overcharged and high, yet you have people whining how "unfair it is to those who already paid off their debts" because how dare the working/lower class get some sliver of hope when they didn't get it in time. And then there's the totally mask-off rich douchebags giving their shit ass "expertise" on why allowing people to not be so shackled by debt for most of their lives will be bad for the economy or some shit.

These people are leeches. They don't know what they're talking about but they want any non-rich citizen to stay indebted for the rest of their lives, because an indebted population is a powerless population.

People like that are just more concerned with maintaining an aesthetic more than the quality of conversation. If there are massive filters in place you can't talk about anything authentic because like you said, it's just acting at that point. How can you not lose touch when everyone around you is acting? They'd rather have that than feel even a bit of discomfort anywhere even at the cost of whatever it is they're part of, a company, a group, a house, makes no difference at that point.

 

I don't even think it's just a "nowadays" problem, i think people have always been this way. I've heard the same shit from 60 year olds describing their experiences from when they were young, they'd often describe behaviors that are exactly the same today. Ego is as old as humanity itself, too bad we can't punch it out of them but hey it is what it is lol.

Ay good for you man. Yeah i was also not very good company in my teen years, i actually had a severe anger issues growing that lasted until i was 19. So even though i was getting better socially in my late teens i was also a walking dynamite, i did a lot of things i regret now and lost a whole lot of friends because of that (i hit a 2 year long rough patch from 18 to 19 where my temper problem was at it's highest is what i'm basically saying).

And because i'm built like a friggin lighthouse i could get away with a lot of awful shit too which makes me really sad now sometimes, i went from beating bullies to almost acting like a bully myself lmao. But bad experiences can teach us how to be good, we just have to be willing to learn.

Yep, i've been focusing at it harder actually. I collaborated with a friend of mine from Korea who draws really aggressive hand drawn porn lol. He helped me with a lot of the basics and we decided to work on a few projects together, he had an 80 page long run of his main series and he's planning on revisiting it so i'll be involved with that. I will say that commission work is a bit strange to get used to at first, so i had to adapt pretty fast and then i said fuck it i'm just gonna draw whatever i want lol.

 

And i will PM you about the comic thing then. I appreciate that you're willing to help out :D

If you are referring to the Lady of the Lake etc then that is an allegory and the 'Celts' gave gifts to the goddess by dropping them in lakes etc.

Roads and laws are usually the things cited as examples of what the Romans gave us even though we (and Europe generally) had roads and laws long before the Romans arrived.

Yes, without the small Gears, their whole Air Bubble bursts. Starting from the Janitor, to the People doing all other labor works. Miss one of those Jobs and the Citys would look like shit. Nobody wants to tend to their own Garden or clean the Streets in front of their Homes anymore. Many still think those are jobs beneath them. Today I helped our little Colleague out a bit. She got some old Furniture as a Gift from a Guy she knows. Nothing more to say. let's drive their and bring the heavy stuff from the third Floor to the Car right? Hehe.. Yeah... About the Loan Thing.. Can't really say much about it. I mean if you want to study in my Country, sure it costs money But i never  had Big interests in it. 

But feeling ass hurt because a new Generation of People doesn't have to pay off a Loan you had to pay years back? Kinda off.. If anyway It would give me hope that those People that benefit form it change the entire system later during their Lifes and make it more affordable for less fortunate People with good Brains but too little Money.

Sounds tough man. The Anger issues I mean. Know how hard it can be to try forcing yourself to stay put and not do something you Want but what you will regret way longer then you enjoy doing it.

But hey, like everybody changes during our Lives and it's a good thing. Otherwise we would stand still, be the Person we always were and like in our Cases, that's not always a good thing.

Sounds interesting. But even if it's hard, if the work is fun and you and your Friend are on the same Wavelength about the Project, while helping him out you would be able to learn a lot, not only in Case of how he does his Art compared to your Way, but making consistent Story's is hard. Especially if you have to remind yourself what Things you already did, so to not repeat yourself too often. People love porn, but people hate seeing the same things 100 Times in a Row too.

 

I can imagine how strange some commissions had to be ? "I will take  Sonic the Hedgehog with a 10 Food Long erection fucking the  ever loving shit out of Marios Ass please." :classic_angel: Or something like that.. sorry, Deviantart scarred me for Life. It's longer time from the present to when Star Wars was originally shown than it was from 1977 to the date of original works it was inspired by.  (i.e. Hidden Fortress 1958, Flash Gordon 1936).  Also its a longer period from Star Wars - Ep 1, (1999) to today, than it was from Hidden Fortress to 1977.

 

a) Really doesn't seem that long ago

b) I can understand why the youth of today want to change it. It's basically the same as we perceived 1936 Flash Gordon in 1977.  (I actually liked it, but you get my point),.
