Still hoping that they'll have the CC in their future games, though with the decline in quality over the years it might not be too big a loss. I've found each Bethesda game has its appeal wearing off faster the newer it is.

at this point all of us should already know and accept that these "not-paid-mods" aren't really for PC gaming consumption but are specifically catered to the console players who have been missing out on the modding scene for a long time...

 

as long as there is a demand for it...Beth will happily supply...

 

as long as there is hunger...Beth will forcefeed this bullshit down their throats...

I guess Bethesda and co. will be doing this in the near future once they finally got into their heads that CC is a major fuck up...can't wait to hear Pete et al blaming the gaming community for being "toxic" because their pet moneymaking project failed miserably and you hurt their feelings:

Yeah, it's "toxic gaming culture" that will cause the failure of the CC, Petey boy. It has nothing to do with the fact that your company was charging money for inferior products and forcing your customers to work with something that ruined their efforts to mod a "mod friendly" game on a regular basis.

 

I'd like to say otherwise, but harsh experience has shown me that people are stupid enough to believe whatever he'll say. Do I sound nihilistic enough? Because that's what I'm going for.

Do not give away a halos to the game companies. For them, all users are just wallet, from which it is necessary to draw out as much money as possible. RS sell one game (GTA5) two times, yes with improvements but still. And yes, Shark Cards for online mode. 

PCR right now on period when they need a fame. And they have only one game, based on book - not their, self made universe. We gonna look on Cyberpunk 2077 but i don't have much hope on this, because i don't like cyberpunk genre...
Nobody know, if tomorrow one of their bosses wake up with a wish to buy plane or yacht. Name and reputation today mean nothing. If for money need put your face in puddle of mud, they gonna do it without a hesitation.

believe me, I'm done with this company (CD PR) they to have me more disappointed than Bethesda, I loved the The Witcher Series and what have they done, they have these buried, simply thrown straight to the rubbish!

and what do they do now, a crappy modern game that I at all do not like, that can play who wants I quite certainly not!  :angry:

a little warning to those who are interested in downloading the Survival "not-paid-mod" in Steam it seems like it's only for Skyrim SE (need confirmation) since it says you need to have it in your library... but those who have CC already can just get it straight there...

2. To compare it with Frostfall and RND and to confirm if it pales in comparison to those two mods and other immersion mods in Nexus...

 

...besides I still give Beth the benefit of the doubt...

People still buy EA (Electronic Artists) games, people still buy Nike's (shoes), people still buy Chick-Fil-A, people still buy Monsanto products, people still shop at Walmart, I could go on and on about how people still buy products from horrible business practices. Bethesda doesn't care because people will STILL buy their stuff. It's like trying to take down Valve, good luck.

Well, I take down modders from my pc that wanna serve Beth instead of the com they grew up in and will take down Beth when the situation deteriorates any further. Actually I don't give a fuck what others do or do not, once I'm fed up with somebody I make sure that they will never again pop up in front of my face. Out of sight, out of mind. Minus one is the message, any ex lover could tell the tale.

I do not buy every dirt, especially no mods, also many Bethesda games I have not, including the Fallout series and Prey, is not my genre!

is likely my life experience, me drip it not equal from the mouth when a new game comes from Bethesda.

Majority will keep buying, yes. Those few of us how stick to that won't make a difference :shrug:

 

I'm not buying Activision because of a reason i don't remember (though i make an exception for Blizzard), and not Ubisoft games. I'll add Bethesda Softworks on that list if need be, but given Doom 4 i'd have make an exception ID's stuff :P Oh, and the new Prey was really cool, so that one's developer too, maybe.

With the statement “We’re aware of it, but we’re not going to let it define what we do”. I don't think he's talking exclusively about the Creation *dry heave* Club. If it is he's sticking his head so deep in the sand it's popping out in china. But i think he just trying to deflect the justly earned criticism on how people kept asking for Elder Scrolls 6 when they announced Skyrim for the Nintendo 64.

Don't ask them to stay honest (more or less). Their only responsibility is to their stock holders to maximize returns on their investments. It is up to the customer to try to keep them honest through financial pressure and strategic positive and negative publicity.
