sorry guys,

a real stupid question - but how can i remove the "slut collar" (the smith says it needs an expert)

either the pony boots (nobody offered help so far)

my problem is now, im wandering through whiterun and looking for help - but everybody only fucks me (which is hot - but theres no solution in sight?)

i googled this question but didnt find any hint....

thank you and sorry for this ^^

The "slut collar" is not part of this mod, but part of the Dcur mod.

As i recall, it will remove itself automatically if you go without having sex for a randomly selected number of days. The challenege beeing that if you wear it, people will force themselves on you. So, either stay away from people for a few days, or go find yourself a chastity-belt to put on so people can't have sex with you.

Nobody will help you with pony-boots, or any other standard DD item, ever. You have to find keys to unlock them yourself. They need a standard restraints key, and since you obviously have Dcur installed, you should be quite able to find those as random loot.

The slut collar is a cursed loot item and you can't unlock it until you spend a set number of days without having sex to be able to unlock it.  You can set the number of days that is in the Devious Cursed Loot MCM Menu. The default setting is 10-50 days.

I'm not sure if this is a DDi or DDx bug, but I'm posting here because it doesn't seem to affect the regular DDi armbinder.

When equiping armbinder on self, appears for a second then disappears, leaving arms tied behind back. Armbinder is still equipped in inventory, so far SD+ can't seem to remove it properly for master/slave sex events.

I'm using DDi commit 4dca5bccd8 and DDx commit 04005677, both the latest on their repositories.

Two screenshots, one on new game and one from old save, and two logs to match. Log 0 is new game, probably full of init garbage from other mods.

Edit: alright, maybe it's DDi since I get the same bug with the last stable version on the front page, moving this to DDi

Don't expect anything to work if your using commits from the Repo's

What's up there can be anything from a stable Beta, to a wholly untested experimental build, where we're just trying out new things and seeing if they might be viable. There is no garuentee's that Git versions work, they are raw development builds.

The Repo's can be very useful to developers, and are a big part of why we can often manage to have several DD mods update within a reasonable timeframe of eachother. It gives them a head start on adjusting their mods to framework changes comming down the pipeline. But to players? Ehhh.. not much use there, not unless you want to play a broken mod. Better to just stick with the release versions posted here on LL ;)

Oh, I thought since commits tend to come in waves that you guys were merging branches, or updating your own private changes once they had been considered valid at least.

I mean it's tempting to backport when min shows a commit list full of issue fixes like that...

Not really. The setup you describe is how a lot of Early-Access games on Steam and the like does things, and with good reason, you've got the stable version, and you've got the unstable-beta, people can suss out what the expect of the two. It's a good system that makes sense.

Problem is that we don't have time for it. We'd have to put continued development of the mod on hold, and take active dev-time away from the project to evaluate builds and determine if they are good enough to be called "stable". Needless to say, this is time we'd rather spend getting the mod to the next release version.

In essence, you can think of the uploaded versions released here on LL as beeing the "Stable branch", as that's basically the reality of it. The mod is in continued development, so yeah, that's a good a good way of looking at it. LL-Stable, Github-Unstable.

A big reason for this is that we don't have Bethesda's tools, and thus can't really make an effecient development pipeline. I'll bet you Bethesda has an esp/esm unpacker which allows for several developers to work on the esm files simulatinously, and then merge their files and repack it later. We don't have that, so we have to bounce the esm's around between developers with only one beeing able to work on it at a time, and then having to declare it free when it's done and uploaded. As a result, the pushes you see on Git may only be half finished (or much less than half), as they were uploaded to be passed on to the next dev to do their part on it.

It's clumsy, but it's what we've got, and we'll just have to make lemonade out of it.

now, i know you Guys don't like to give a deadline, but is it possible to tell wether we get an update anytime soon?

after all we're all eager to see the latest stuff you Guys came up with

Everything works fine as intended except those boots with high heel effects on followers. I'm not sure if it's just me, but the high heels effect kicks in when I equip slave boots or pony boots on one of my followers, but whenever there is a scene change, the effect goes away, and does not come back, i.e. my followers have their feet sunk in the ground until I manually re-equip the boots. I don't have this problem with my PC though. Any idea why this happens?

Also, but it'd be nice if pony boots also had no-sprint keyword added to them, just my thought. Those boots look awfully uncomfortable to sprint in, don't you think? Well, I got the keyword added on mine anyway.

BTW, thanks for the great mod.

You're mentioning scenes, so i'm guessing this is happening when interacting with a quest mod?

In my tests and play they seem to work fine on NPC's (well, atleast to the degree that anything does in Skyrim), and it's not really an issue that's been brought up before either, so my best guess is that the quest mod you're playing through is doing something to break things (no idea what that would be though, the HH-Effect implimented in DDx is bog-standard HDT-HHS integration, i'm not doing anything special with it that other heel mods aren't also doing).

As for the no-sprint, i've left that effect off since the Pony-boots are a rather prime candidate for any sort of Pony-Girl mod, and it seems like such a mod might not want to take away sprinting. Atleast that's been my line of thinking. If there's a big demand for having the effect included though, i'll add it on there.

lacking a heel even walking shoud be uncomfortable...

What im thinking since the first time i used them is that there should be some kind of event that randomly occurs and make you trip and fall.

unless you're used to walk in them of course...

DDx v1.2 is go!

-------------------

Here's the skinny:

v1.2.

* Added Restrictive-boots (locking and non, textures now included).
* Added audio for Restrictive boots.
* Added 5 new vaginal souldgem plugs.
* Added 5 new anal souldgem plugs.
* Added 2 new souldgem clitoral piercings (plus new textures).
* Added 2 new souldgem nipple piercings (plus new textures).
* Fixed a couple of stray Keywords.
* Updates to support DDi 2.9.0.
* Phased out UNPB support in favour of UNP.
* Some minor but important bugfixes.
* DDx harnesses now hold in plugs even without a belt added.

Quite a few changes, aswell many in the core framework (DDa 2.9.0 and DDi 2.9.0 is required, go grab them if you haven't already), and for this reason a new game may not be required, but it is strongly recommended just to be safe.

A note with the Custom Harnesses: Per default DDi's "device hider" hides this harness when worn, this can be disabled in DDi's MCM menu when wearing the item and it will render as normal.

UNPB has been phased out in favour of UNP, and UNP HDT-PE TBBP support has been added. CBBE support remains unchanged.

Right then, huge thanks to Aelie, Min, Kimy and Koffii who helped out on this release.

And here's some eye-candy showing off Koffii's new boots and other gear:

Is 7B still compatible with your meshes?

Posted

Thanks, awesome update, thoroughly enjoying the new items.

Quick report on an issue I'm having with shock nipple piercings, which I believe are from DDx.  When my character has only shock nipple piercings in their inventory, equipping them adds a copy of the nipplepiercing (commonsoulgem) to my characters inventory and equips them simultaneously.  Equip dialogues and such seem to work fine other than that, and this is on a new character.

Nipple piercing (commonsoulgem) by themselves don't have a similar issue with adding shock piercings.

Not until someone converts the new meshes to 7B ^^ I have a feeling 7B's thunder thighs won't play nice with restrictive bootsies

Im sad that UNPB isn't supported now. Im actually using the seraphim UNPB upper/7B lower body right now but was able to get away with using most UNPB and 7base armours. Now im stuffed until someone converts one or the other to for the new items. I cant believe everyone is using CBBE or UNP now. I don't like either but that's just me and ive tried several times to work out bodyslide and I just don't get it. :-/

As Min explained: popularity is of secondary priority. It does matter because obviously we aren't going to be spending days creating meshes for niche bodies like Dibella, Lady Body or one of 7395239 slightly customised variants of UNP/CBBE body but at the same time it's way easier to create and test things on bodies that majority of currently active Devious Developers prefer to use especially if that body also happens to still be supported by a lot of other modders.

That and let's not forget that UNPB is a variant of UNP and I think one might say that the previous decision to support it instead of the core body may have been a weird way of going about providing compatibility with the two most popular bodies (UNP and CBBE)

I personally switched to UNPB in the frist place only because DD required it. I probably wouldn't have done this on my own initiative. I know there's lots of users who like UNPB this much instead and it's sad that official support for their UNP variant of choice has been discontinued but that doesn't mean support isn't possible. At one point in DD's lifetime (we don't talk about it, it was a sad time ^^) UNP support was totally scrapped but that didn't stop modders from creating unofficial conversions. If any modders are still interested in UNPB I'm sure they will do it again. And for anyone who is and is prepared to seriously dedicate to it: please contact Koffii and he'll give you all the things you need to get started.

Dont get me wrong. Im not moaning, im just sitting in the corner sulking ;) I was lucky for quite a while that the body i like was supported. Now it isnt so im well aware that bleating about it wont solve the problem. I'll shut up now and wait until someone converts which im sure they will eventually. :P

This looks superb, so much work has obviously gone into it.

Sadly I will have to go without trying it out as I really, really do not like or want the HDT (?) High heels mod in my game.  However again I would like to repeat that I think you have done a superb job on this  :shy:

I can't reproduce this.

Could you supply a papyrus log of you equipping the item and having the bug occur? As well a copy of your loadorder (prefably posted in a spoiler tag, as those things tend to get very long!).

TS, are you planning to add metal pony boots? I thought of it recently, it may be a good idea.

With the current mesh? That would probably not look great, and with the workload our 3D guy currently has lined up, he's going to be a buisy guy for a while.

The idea has merit, but right now the next version (or even the next two) of DDx is already feature locked, there's lots to do.

Glad you like it! You'll be pleased to know that DD Assets items other than the boots (the gloves, corset and collar) don't actually require HDT, or High Heels. Only Expansion items do. Which was one of the reasons to create Expansion in the first place.
