hey there, i once heard there's a console command that can force load the mods from the hard drive, i was wondering if you knew the command so i could avoid creating a new game for this

has to be a way to restart the mod without losing months of gameplay

Just wondering, but is there any chance for ebonite versions of the restrictive gear aswell?

 

It looks really good already, but would be nice to have different options/colors! ^^

Could we maybe get Ebonite versions of the restrictive set? The leather is pretty nice, but i REALLY like the sleek latexy look of the ebonite.

 

Next version. Not going to set a timeline though, the method Koffii uses to make his stuff is quite different from how Zadil was doing it (Zad was dealing with textures in the more traditional Layered-PSD Photoshop way, as i've also done, Kof is more HiTech using HighPoly-Bakes in SubstanceDesigner and the like), so we kinda have to reinvent the wheel here when working with it.

 

Monkey wrenches all over those gears! But it is comming, and hopefully soon :)

nice one, but i have a question, which mod add the elements of this picture ? (gloves, this kind of boots and corset)

that's restrictive gloves, boots, corset  from this mod, and the bra is original ddi, but you need that mod to use this mod so its already covered too

the restrictive set was finished, completed and put into ddx this update

Yes I get that, but are we supposed to be able to craft a key or something? Because it doesn't work with the restrain key :(

ok if you found restraints key and it don't work on the boots that require keys then your keys are from dd for the masses, notice that mod has a high probability for fake keys

when you get the devious smithing perk by reading the book from the forbidden library you can craft key at the forge along with other devious items

I don't use DD for the masses, but I'm wondering if the problem lie elsewhere. When I click on them, I only have the option of equipping them (despite the fact that they're already equipped and locked) or carry on.

 

I don't understand what is the problem. I only use DD asset, expansion, integration, cursed loot and all the mandatory SexLab stuff. I'm keeping my mods count to a minimum.

 

I've been using these mods since the beginning and only since the last couple of updates that I'm starting to have troubles.

 

Well nvm, for some reason, it seem DD helpless was the culprit, hiding the "use key" option.... I'd like to understand that one...

DDx v1.2 is go!

Here's the skinny:

 

v1.2.

* Added Restrictive-boots (locking and non, textures now included).
* Added audio for Restrictive boots.
* Added 5 new vaginal souldgem plugs.
* Added 5 new anal souldgem plugs.
* Added 2 new souldgem clitoral piercings (plus new textures).
* Added 2 new souldgem nipple piercings (plus new textures).
* Fixed a couple of stray Keywords.
* Updates to support DDi 2.9.0.
* Phased out UNPB support in favour of UNP.
* Some minor but important bugfixes.
* DDx harnesses now hold in plugs even without a belt added.
 

 

 

Quite a few changes, aswell many in the core framework (DDa 2.9.0 and DDi 2.9.0 is required, go grab them if you haven't already), and for this reason a new game may not be required, but it is strongly recommended just to be safe.

 

 

 

 

the new version gives an script lag and an error if you load old game with the new updates it gives bad installation error, null device, null form during some devious occurences or when using devious device add/remove device options thru inventory

 

then when you start new game you get a different error during game start and every time the new game is loaded, screenshots below

I am getting a weird bug.  When custom slave harnesses are equipped they are not visible, but normal harnesses are (including locking ones).  The item is in the inventory and its effects are there, just not a visible representation on the character.  Using CBBE Slim body with default settings in bodyslide (in case that is the issue).

 

From the release notes:

 

A note with the Custom Harnesses: Per default DDi's "device hider" hides this harness when worn, this can be disabled in DDi's MCM menu when wearing the item and it will render as normal.

 

So you have to disable the device hider? It did work for me I was just wondering if there was something else a bit easier so I wouldn't have to re-enable it every time I took off the harness. Other than that I noticed the "slave" variants of the various harnesses seem to clip with the default cbbe bodyslide preset unlike the non-slave variants which fit perfectly.

You've got an outdated mod installed, i belive DD-Restrained is the one commonly cited as causing that specific error, it's not playing nice with the new version of DDi and is in need of an update.

You don't have to disable it, just tweak it's settings.

 

The DeviceHider was ment to be tweaked with on the fly, that's the whole point of it. We can't know how various devices will look when combined with various armours and the like, so the hider was made to let players customize what's beeing rendered on a case by case basis.

 

 

It's actually a really nice tool to have once you get into the groove of things.

I can't get the new version to work with Perkus Maximus even when I put it on the blocklist. Is the old V1.16 available somewhere?

have you tried adjusting load order for those 2 mods, if its failing to work as you have it, try reversing the load order for those mods

i would think that mod would need to be loaded before the devious mods

I'm just trying out the restrictive items (great models by the way) but I don't see the 3rd person meshes for the restrictive boots.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

It would seem that I am a dummy, I just found them under the optional body type models... Although I'm really looking for them for Sevenbase.

On equipping some of the harnesses (through Devious Loot) such as Locking Ebonite Slave Harness I am unable to remove the harness with a key or using the Devious Loot safe word. Has anyone else has issues with some of the harnesses, and do you have any solutions?

which key did you use and how did you obtain the key

if you obtained the key from dd for the masses then you have a chance for it to be a fake

next if i'm not mistaken the slave harness requires the restraints key to remove it and the others require the chastity key to remove it, But i think i heard they changed the slave harness to perform the same functions as the others which would be kinda sad way to ruin the difference between them, but regardless if they've done that it may affect the keys used so maybe try both keys on that

If you consoled in the Dcur harness, then you're boned.

 

That's a quest item, it cannot be unlocked with a key, it's removed by a quest trigger (a quest that was not started, and now cannot be started because you're already wearing the item it's supposed to put on you).

 

 

Console commands != intended gameplay. Don't use them unless you're beta testing something, and certainly don't use them when you don't know what you're doing.

Just for the record, the Locking Ebonite Slave Harness is not a Cursed Loot quest item, that's a vanilla DDx one that Cursed Loot can drop via its trap events. It should be unlockable with a regular key and also get removed using the safeword. If it doesn't, something's messed up.

Thanks to all of you that responded.

 

It turns out another instance of user error (I'm on a roll this morning)... I recopied the DD Expansion files over my existing version and it started working.

 

Thanks again, I'll try to try everything before posting in future.
