Learnt this the same in the real world with regards to education.  Case in point:  We were given an assignment to find specific information.  I knew exactly where to find said information, went to that place (that no one else had thought of), and then went to get my paperwork from the next table over.  Wrong move.  The information I had found was swarmed like sharks at a feeding frenzy, and I never did get to finish what I started (in part due to my rather extreme dislike of A. People and B. People in close quarters.).  Sigh.

I did notice that the main culprit in the case of the game was a newby who simply assumed due to my rank (which builds due to a number of factors, not exclusive to main story line) that I had long since finished the main story.  "Uh, no, I've been helping randoms, like yourself, literally for years on and off."  "Oooohhhh...."  Yeah, dude.  The interesting and not surprising part was that this same individual happily allowed us to help them all the way through the entire story line, when one of the individuals helping was one of his buddies, of equal relative low rank to him!  Perfectly willing to throw his friend under a bus to get ahead, it seems.  Oh, and what I mentioned earlier about society in general, at least a few of these guys were Aussies, I think, so certainly not all North American/European where most of us expect to find such behavior.  Oh, and one guy's from South Korea.

It was an old apartment though, don't suppose you have another monitor available to test it out? Or the scheduling or patience to wait on those people to turn on the heater without asking them personally so you can confirm or deny of they're the cause.

That is fault of her family and the teachers/media pushing a narrative that even actual scientists cannot agree on. (It gets into who got paid by whom; and no, the science does not unequivocally back it up. YES, humans have had an effect on the climate, however the magnitude of that effect is highly debatable.) DP cables come in four flavors, 1.2,1.4, 6 feet, ten feet, vesa-certified and not.

Vesa-guy is horrified at the quality of some DP cables, but isn't mentioning any names (which would really help a LOT)

Damn near anything can cause DP-flicker (someone says gas-hydraulic chairs)

I researched and all I got was tired.
