I got lost.

I always lose these me against the herd anyway.

I'll wait quietly

(wait where are we...o.)

Nurses! Who need to check your ID 7 times in 20 minutes, who ask questions they get judgmental about.

You asked, I said, and now they're judging me.

Well I learned, pissant, to say "Nothing" "Fine" "zero" (and mumble "whatever")

because you are an insignificant cog, a record keeper.

The nice nurse is coming soon, the one who's full of horror stories about hemoglobin.

Fucking 25.00 an hour to click boxes on a piece of paper.

TLDR there's good and bad everyone and everything, and I'm a bigot for not liking the low-end, carping no-account bottom-of-barrel test-cheating intern nurse wannabes?

%^$ (I mean) have a nice day except lose the judgmental

It's time for my pill (isn't it?)

It's kinda really not.

Because TED isn't a platform for people speaking out of their field, including a few I can link that are just inane utterances by SJWs who know nothing of what they're talking about, particularly on the gaming end of media, moaning trash at an audience who has no idea what they're even listening to so they clap like trained seals.

They're also not well known for removing comments or false-flagging videos.

The other video Rags linked talking about TED censorship was taken down, fancy that.

Edit: Anyway beyond all that, which is irrelevant and means nothing to someone who actually listens to TED talks.. you know.. because since from the very beginning they were always masturbatory rants with no substance here's my favourite talk, this is a real TED talk, that was allowed to happen, and is essentially every TED and TEDx talk in a nutshell despite its age. It's legendary and it's one of my favourite things on the internet:

I punch through the BS and go for the truth. Not all talks on Ted are bad, just as not all talks on Ted are good. I gather my news and information from ALL platforms and the case proposed in the talk that I linked to is substantiated and argumented well, by an insider. In fact, she is speaking exactly about the sort of tactics that you are blaming Ted for.

I don't dismiss platforms based on accusations as much as I don't take EVERYTHING on their platform as truth.

I nuance and research things for myself.

In other words, I don't dismiss everything on a platform, just because it has bad sides.

Everything has bad sides and you'd soon need to dismiss everything as well; if you follow those lines of thought.

Trust me, I've learned this the hard way. It's best to be independent and not dismiss anything.

And calling me SJW is the most laughable thing that you can imagine.

I worried about your blood pressure, made a snarky comment in my head, but I stifled myself and wondered what the side effects of High BP are (I think there's a PSA for that)

Actually I have pretty low blood pressure, but thanks for your concern. :D

Just makes me upset that the mayor (who has done an okay job for the past 20 years) has suddenly gotten it into his head that we need to increase taxes and regulations like we're freaking California not a smallish town in the upper midwest.  It just seems like bandwagon jumping and an attempt to make him look good since there have been rumors he's going to try and run for governor.

I love how people think the "Ok Boomer" thing will upset people. Had someone do that in a stream once and I couldnt stop laughing, had to cut stream because I couldnt contain myself and breathe properly, but now, I dunno why I found it so funny. I just confused myself, shit! xD

The people who assume it's meant to be a real insult are the joke, including the ones that do get angry, but that's just icing, it's not the cake.

I say it to disengage discussions when there's nothing more to add and leave on a joke, I was also leaving work in a hurry.

And the sun was in my eyes, and I had my shoes untied, and arm was sore, and I really only bent over to pick up a penny.

I'm not gonna stop hating TED(and x) as a whole for giving dumb people even more of a platform to ramble at uneducated or ignorant people who'll take them for granted on their word alone because they're on a stage but it's impossible for every single one of them to be as retarded as the ones I've seen. I hope.

It's not like I support or enforce censorship or anything, like TED does on Youtube, or their websites so let them talk. I don't have to listen.

I'm having too much fun fucking with the font size.

I usually dont get upset with silly stuff anymore. It has to be a core belief or value to actually piss me off.

Not sure how you went from 'don't dismiss' to 'stop hating'.

Also, your logic is circular, like a dog chasing its own tail.

Labels bother me. "Boomer" this "millennial" that.

I've seen people memeing it up as far back as the 20s and doing stupid shit.

The oldest record of tentacle hentai is from 1820.

Categorising generations and judging them by that alone is just lame.

But only 90s kids will understand my plight.

Well I hate TEDx, so I'm not going to stop doing that, which if you weren't trying to pick apart a single strand of hair would let you know that I won't stop dismissing them, it also means unless someone I know or watch responds to a TEDtalk I won't go out of my way to watch them. In essence I watched a bunch, decided they were bad and enabled bad people, so I stopped watching them.

After that I learned they actively censored criticism, turned off comments, etc. and built upon my opinion that they were also at least partly controlled by garbage people which did nothing to make me support them so my opinion didn't change. I dunno how that's circular.

If you're gonna get defensive about a corporate cult you should pick a better one, then again there's your signature. I'll just leave this be. ?

You really are making leaps and strides.. in the wrong direction. How does 'you shouldn't dismiss' suddenly translate to me defending Ted? I don't give a rats ass about Ted. I tried giving YOU advice but you're apparently quite set in your opinion, good for you. Bad me for giving a damn and trying to share my experience and knowledge.

Doesn't make your logic less circular, or your 'funny' boomer remark less stupid.

TED Talks isn't a platform, they are a publisher. I doubt that they would feature Sam Harris to talk about religion anymore. What appears on TED is already heavily pre-selected and thus filtered.

That just means when they do put on these shows with SJWs that don't even have a good enough knowledge base to lie properly it's very much intended, no?

Anyway, today I went to get an ice cream at McDonald's because it's the only thing I eat from there(cheap and tasty, and not guaranteed to kill me) and by some miracle the machine was working. Bad news? The cone was mostly empty, they somehow fluffed it all nice and pretty on the top but the cone itself was completely devoid of ice cream, I mean it filled up once it began melting but that only meant the top went missing after a while.

I was very upset. Totally got scammed. Still tasty though.

I believe that is the default way they do ice cream now. I can't be 100% but I have had that happen many times myself. (well when I am with someone that actually eats that stuff as it isn't actual ice"cream" .

The fact that not enough people read Homer or Plato.

I wish I could quote the incredible BS associated with the sophists who spout stuff on plato or try to write like him.

This coming from a guy (myself of course) who has no knowledge of plato. It's been tons easier for people to say

"I know about Plato" than to impart in the current vernacular what he actually said.

Saying "I know Ulysses" brings up a private snigger from people remembering James Joyce.

I don't know about Joyce, and my Ulysses novels were abridged (or movies)

After having said all that, my first impression from a brief encounter with Hippias was that he was an asshole with an inflated ego.

But that's just me.
