I never installed the spider addon .

Why should i, if the main mod doesnt work at all ? :D

 

I also tried the 4.30 repack .

First the 1.20 repack-> then the 1.30 pack above ->Same result.

 

I don't tried NG, because i don't want to start a new game now.
A few months back i tried this mod ( but earlier version)  with a complete new game and the problem was the same. So i dont think this will fix it now somehow if it didn't in the past.

 

I really have no clue what the issue is.

you only need to try it on new game to determine if it works or if not then what's wwrong with it - once you get it working, procedures can be done to attempt cleaning the save...

i recall have that issue with the spit not working on much older versions, if your save was contaminated with those versions that might explain the bug Or if you have those old scripts in your folder from those versions....bottom line is we need to see your results on a clean save before we can determine what's wrong - if for some reason it still failed on a new save, we could read your problems from a papyrus log (the problem can be tested and read from the log either way, but we won't know if its a bad scripts or bad save without a new game)

Well, CliftonJD already said everything about old scripts messing around with gamesave. You should try to start the new game to determine what's the issue.

And it may be stupid question, but if chaurus spit attack does nothing in your case, have you tried to set tentacle spit attack chance up to 100?

Chaurus spit attack are like magic spell, so yeah, some other mod may override the magic effect that have an EC+ script attached to it.

In that's the case, run TESVEdit to see if there any conflicts and try to put EstrusChaurus.esp at an end of your load order.

I have other scaling mods like Sexlab Hormones, Milk Mod Economy, Soulgem Oven III, etc. and I use SLIF to manage them (the others play nice together, I haven't had issues yet), but I have not been able to fix this issue.

 

Turning off breast scaling altogether doesn't fix it, either. Only going into racemenu and saving without making changes resets her breasts, but they will get set to flat again within a second or so if the Estrus Chaurus pregnancy is still going.

 

Any clues as to what might be causing this, or how to fix it?

I've played around some more and I'm fairly certain you're right in that it's not EC+, but the weird thing is that everything about my body and skeleton works fine otherwise (except the belly node looks weird and torpedo-y when naked, but that seems like a minor unrelated issue). NIO is also fully up to date.

 

Maybe it's something happening inside SLIF or something...

i would suggest looking up those mods to determine if they use nil-o breast scaling or the older version of it i can't think of the name off hand from before nil-o scaling was invented

xpo is a prison overhaul issue that might be fixable by fixig the other 2 issues, but if not you can deal with it afterwords and its minor for the time being

if you don't have a mod that add voices to sexlab, then you have a sexlab issue there as the second bug and last, but not least zzestrus chaurus is flooding your log

since you've already tried the repack above and you've already started a new game, you're going to have to completely uninstall all versions of estrus chaurus scripts from your scripts folder before reinstalling the current repack above

Hm, i use extravoice for sexlab and its working as it should ? At least i don't recognize any problem. Only slot 1 and the other extra slots are deactivated.

Btw, i deinstalled estrus again, and there are no script files left in the script folder. Nothing with estrus in it.

ok then don't forget those scripts are zzestrus and if you still don't see anything then reinstall the repack

Checked the scripts folder again, and nothing with zzestrus is inside.
Just to be clear, first the 120 repack, than the 430 repack, right ? So my installation wasn't wrong .

 

Edit : Ha, dont know why or dont ask me why but now it works after the new installation.. for the first time it works.

The chaurus attacks even when the animations starts- ends in death ? Is there a way to fix this ?

I've officially reached the limit of my troubleshooting abilities, and could use some help. So two problems:

1 - On a new game, EC+ won't initialize until I save, quit, and restart.

2 - even after, it doesn't do anything. No tentacles from chaurus spit, no pregnancy from chaurus rape, no tentacles from FMEA

 

When i first loaded the mod and started a test game, with Estrus for Skyrim installed but not active, it didn't work, but it functioned fine after i activated the Estrus for Skyrim esp (at least with FMEA). I added a few more mods, tested those, started the real game and EC+ is back to not working. Removed those mods, still not working. Checked this thread, found the repack, installed that- nothing. Put it at the end of the load order- still nothing. Installed everything else, initialized SexLab and Defeat, quit and then installed EC+ hoping that it just needed SexLab to be running when i installed EC+ - nope. The animations get registered in SexLab but EC+ never activates in-game. Every time I change something I run LOOT, rebuild my bashed patch, and re-run FNIS (in that order), then I start a brand new game. 

 

I started a game, spawned a chaurus, let it spit on me, then checked the papyrus log (I'd attach it if i could figure out how) and it is filled with EC+ related errors...

 

Lots (like half the log) of "...cannot be initialized because the script no longer contains that property"
 
plus a few errors indicative (i think) of orphaned scripts...
Unable to get type zzestruschaurusplayer referenced by the save game. 
Unable to get type zzestruschaurusevents referenced by the save game.
Could not find type zzestruschaurusplayer in the type table in save
Could not find type zzestruschaurusevents in the type table in save
 
And this one:
     "warning: Variable ::ECevents_var on script zzestruschaurusae has an invalid type zzestruschaurusevents loaded from save. This variable will be skipped."
 
I'm assuming that's the problem, but I don't know what to do about it.

Checked the scripts folder again, and nothing with zzestrus is inside.

Uh, skip the 120 repack, you don't need that one. Only the 430 repack + EC+ and maybe a retexture you like.

 

Completely delete your sriptfolder and reinstal it manually for skse etc if you can't get results doing it with a manager. Remember to make a clean safe.

Don't know if this is your problem but if you get spit at and your character kinda jerks but nothing happens then the problem is that you've run up against your sexlab animation limit or the estrus animations aren't registered

So here is the problem.  I use Deviously Cursed Loot and was looting some plants when the Estrus event was activated.  It was the blob that covered my character.  After the attack my character was left with pink "cartoony" blob looking mittins and boots.  Is this normal?  Is there a way to get rid of these blob items.  Because I tried changing armor, no good.  Went for a dip in the lake, still no good.  This happened once before and the blobs did go away, somehow.  I dont know if it is set up to go away or something glitched again to get rid of it.  So, can someone please help.  Thanks in advance.

Put all your gear in a container so only quest items left - then use console to "removeallitems" then get your gear back from the container.

 

This can sometimes occur if animation stages are skipped, either due to other mods interfering, script errors/stack dumps or just using the spacebar to skip animation stages.

Thanks for the help Bane.  However "removeallitems" did not work.  I use another mod called "Portable Hole" and stowed all my gear in it.  If you dont know Portable Hole is a magical container.  So I dont know if putting my stuff in that made a difference or not.

 

I did look up the command on the wiki to see if I missused it or something.  No I had the syntax right.  So went looking for another way of doing the same trick of removing items.  Since I had no items in my inventory I tried the "inv/Showinventory" command.  It reveals all items in your inventory and their IDs.  Saw the ID for the EC+ item and used the "removeitem" command with it and it worked that way.

 

If this happens again then I will try stowing my stuff in a regular container and see if your method works.  But I am just happy that I got rid of thoes pink blobs.  Thanks again Bane.

Thanks for the help! This is driving me crazy. I've gotten it to work twice, but only briefly, and both times what I thought I did to fix it was wrong (or at least I couldn't reproduce it). Unfortunately, I'm not sure i understand what you mean by "scripts folder". I saw you give that same advice to someone else, but I don't know how to follow it. I probably should have included that I'm using MO, so hopefully you know its inner workings better than I do. That whole virtual folder thing leaves me a little adrift sometimes trying to figure out which real folder to tweak so the imaginary one builds properly. Skyrim/Data/Scripts is still vanilla, so no EC scripts there, and that is the only scripts folder I know of that isn't just part of a mod. Where would you find "old scripts" in a virtual folder, and how would they get there? 

 

If I get how MO works (and clearly that is a BIG if  :) , then the only thing that should be in the virtual scripts folder would be scripts from currently activated mods, so once I uninstalled them any old scripts from estrus or estrus chaurus should be gone, and the only ones left should be from the repack. I uninstalled/reinstalled the repack, just to see, but to no effect. As I write this, I realize that test was a save game, not a new game, so maybe something from the save interfered. I'll use script scalpel on the save, and try again, but I'm not optimistic :(

With Cursed Loot you can always try the "Free me!!!" debug option in the MCM if anything goes south.

what you have in that log is more severe than what you initially explained so it won't be as easy as what i described and not knowing your scripts folder would be a big explanation for that. there's a scripts folder in your skyrim data folder that need to have the scripts from the sexlab estrus chaurus mod, but if you're using mo you'll need to uninstall any/all previous versions of estrus or estrus repacks or sl estrus chaurus from mo before installing the current repack. if you use the repack i posted you won't need anything else until the next estrus chaurus update

 

all of this i'm explaining to you has to be done within the mo windows and folders so if you have any troubles getting mo to do those things, you'll need somebody familiar with mo - i'm a self installer type person

all of this i'm explaining to you has to be done within the mo windows and folders so if you have any troubles getting mo to do those things, you'll need somebody familiar with mo - i'm a self installer type person

 

Thanks. I've been slowly improving my modding knowledge (I'm currently learning how to interpret papyrus logs) but i think i got a little too ambitious for this particular play-through. The log i attached is after i got it working, I added back all the mods I wanted for this play-through to see if it would still work, and that mess was the result. I uninstalled everything EC before I installed the repack, but through my various tests and experiments, EC+ performance has been inconsistent with the changes I've made. I've decided that the issue isn't with EC+, but that there is something else messing with it, so a screwed up EC+ is a symptom of another problem. I'm going to have to stop trying to achieve a particular result immediately, and just strip the whole thing down to the basics and build it back up until I find the culprit. Fortunately, half the fun of modding Skyrim is solving the puzzle of how to get a complex mod-set to work together :)

what you have in that log is more severe than what you initially explained so it won't be as easy as what i described and not knowing your scripts folder would be a big explanation for that. there's a scripts folder in your skyrim data folder that need to have the scripts from the sexlab estrus chaurus mod, but if you're using mo you'll need to uninstall any/all previous versions of estrus or estrus repacks or sl estrus chaurus from mo before installing the current repack. if you use the repack i posted you won't need anything else until the next estrus chaurus update
