i instaled correctly (i think) the mod seem's to work but i can't select the "pregnancy" option both in chaurus and spider !

so ... i can't get infected, what is that trouble solution

?

 

I want to bump this question because I'm having a similar problem. The enable/disable pregnancy option highlights when I mouse over it, but clicking or pressing enter doesn't toggle it. The weird thing for me is that the spider add-on *does* allow me to toggle.

I have a small problem. My charachter belly scale works only if she wear some devius device, but when she is naked the scaling doesn't effect her at all. Can you help me to fix this?

If you are wearing vanilla armors, or clothing that do not have proper support of the pregnancy slider (IIRC), the EC+ pregnancy won't show.

Then your base body doesn't have the proper pregnancy belly node.

If you use a UNP body, use the explanation given in the Being female description, if you use a CBBE body use the explanation given in the Sanguine Debauchery description.

 

With these your girl look will show she is pregnant.

I don't usually hate on mods, I don't want to hate on them, but I have to express my anguish that so many people are spending their valuable modding experience making their own mods AROUND a mod that is so horribly broken, rather than either fixing its broken scripts or even writing their own fresh tentacle hentai mod lol.

 

I mean I've seen about...4-5 separate mods that use Estrus as a master yet the Estrus mod itself is a huge failure and hasn't been updated in spite of people begging the author to do so, it doesn't work, using it has a 85% chance of either locking ur character in place until u reload, crashing the game or making npc's permanently stand in one place cheering in spectator mode, forever breaking their daily schedule scripts.

 

Also the built in free camera is excruciatingly slow and if I remember, I think attempting to use SexLab's free camera that usually works anytime with a hotkey either does nothing during the Estrus anims or causes the character to be locked in place, or it could have been that it locks the camera in one direction after ending animation, one of those things happened to me, its been a while.

 

I'm frustrated about it because I care man, someone...ANYONE needs to fix Estrus so it and all the other mods that utilize it are more enjoyable, considering all the hentai fans out there, I'm amazed no one has stepped up to the task, it seems like such a simple mod when compared to some of the other scripted animation mods out there, and it has ONE job dammit lol.

The original estrus esp is supposed to be turned off now, and hide/remove all the files that have to do with Actor Events. So you really shouldn't be having some of those problems.

 

I don't know about a free camera mode inside estrus, I use sexlabs (on a different hotkey) and I've only had my camera get stuck when I accidentally try to use another camera mode(forgetting I'm in SL free camera and hitting my Screenshot assist hotkey). Then, either another sex act fixes it (random) or using a forge. I've had my camera break on other mods too. It isn't estrus alone. I'll use SL's free camera to get into tfc mode just while my characters standing there and get my camera stuck in third person by being a dummy and hitting my screenshot assist key (for tfc 1) Then I have to backtrack my keys to get my hud information back, then head off for something that's going to trigger a camera reset.

 

Modding this game is a dance between total failure and half-assed-hoping-it-doesn't-break-after-10-minutes. If you can play a heavily modded/scripted game for an hour, you're doin' good. Somehow, I managed to get 2 hours before my game implodes and crashes.

Unfortunately fixing the original mod is not an option as the author did not release the source code or give permission for it's use.

 

My strong recommendation is that anyone using EC+ disables the zzEstrus.esp to avoid these problems

Personally I did a "repack" striped of the scripts and esp. All I have from the original are the textures, meshes, sound and skse plugin (and I don't know if I should have the skse plugin still, I'd wager that I need the appropriate papyrus script for the plugin to be useful at all). If somebody more knowledgeable than me could explain clearly what part of the old estrus is needed, that would be terrific.

Yeah I prefer the simplicity of being able to start action when the whim arises, I like to roleplay with it, so I prefer to keep Estrus turned on, I just wish someone would rewrite the whole thing, its such an outdated mod that it needs some TLC desperately, make it with the modern tech, maybe some new and improved features and animations, that would be awesome, and since the author of Estrus seems to have quit modding, or at least abandoned Estrus, I doubt he would care if anyone re-did his mod surely, people are still active in Estrus's comment section today and Jezborg never even replies.

I think that at this point, sexlab parasites has replaced estrus chaurus. Though I'm not sure if it can run the estrus animations without EC.

Yeah I figured as much, which is why someone should just make a completely fresh version of the same thing, I'm sure Jhezborg doesn't own the rights to tentacles lol. maybe if some of our awesome animators collaborated a bit, they could make something that's way better and more stable in a week or so maybe.

 

I mean, it would be better for the Estrus chaurus mod too, cos right now its pretty limited to what it can achieve from using Estrus's stuff, unless u can add more anims to EC by using Estrus's Texture/Mesh.

Hmm...I had a look at that mod back when it was first uploaded, at the time it just seemed to equip various things after sex which wasn't really what I was looking for, but if it has decided to go down the animation route, I might give it another go, another thing that put me off was that it didn't have any body options for any of the parasites at the time, so the tentacle outfits would force my character into a glitchy CBBE body, and that wasn't improvicticious enough for me lol.

Since updating the mod has been sightly glitchy, chaurus now attack my character during the tentacle animation instead of becoming neutral. :/

Every mod that uses Estrus says to turn off its esp(and actor events as well as actor event scripts). Because of the exact problems you describe. It's so broken that people do work around it, like this mod. Use Sex Tools or Manipulator to get your animations on the fly without bloating and breaking your saves. It's much safer that way as well and you won't have the umpteen problems the old estrus esp causes. Though I think there was a real reason why people weren't able to fix the old mod. Either for permissions or it was an absolute mess inside. I can't remember.

It still has the body issue (though its more intermittent than anything with the tentacles, the facehugger/belt doesn't work period correctly)-though I don't know why when harnesses+belts from other mods don't have the same problem. And I don't think I'm capable of at least getting it to load the animations itself if EC+ isn't installed (I can barely build a SLAL pack correctly   ).

So are u saying I can turn estrus's esp off but still call the animations through sex tools and manipulator? I have both of those mods and I haven't noticed any option for that, guess I'll have to have a closer look to make sure I didn't miss it, unless that is a new thing in a super recent version of either of those, I think I have Sex Tools version 3.0 and Manipulator version 6.3, if memory serves.

 

EDIT: I found Sex Tools's animation creator but it doesn't allow me to use the tentacle animations for anything, the animations show up in the list but when I try to set them it shows up as "Missionary" and plays that animation instead, plus there is no way to set an animation for solo activation, it has to be via Human or Creature, and it will only allow me to set animations that those race's are capable of doing, like bear's or whatever will only be eligible for their own corresponding animations, and trying to set tentacle sex to humans just defaults the animation to Missionary.

 

So I'm stumped...

I cant even toggle pregnancies on/off in the MCM, its always disabled.. is there any solution?

i reinstalled all related mods over and over but nothing seems to help..

Did you also disable the Scripts folder from Estrus for Skyrim? That is a known trouble maker. I have removed ESP and Scripts entirely in MO.

Ah, you mean in Scripts folder delete the scripts manually ? There are many, don't know which one to delete.
