Min Posted February 5, 2015 Author Posted February 5, 2015 Okay, I'm having some weird issues with the armbinder right now. When it gets equipped you don't assume the hands-behind-your-back pose, just keep standing normally although all the other limitations do apply (can't open inventory etc). When you start struggling by pressing tab the arms go to the correct position, but after you get the ending message the animation doesn't stop, and when you move you slide along while playing the last struggle animation. I installed the new assets, integration and expansion in a new profile in MO, and started a completely new game so there's no remnants from an old version interfering, and I've rerun fnis several times now. I have no idea what else to try. I've attached my loadorder and papyrus log. Could someone help me? You've got an out of date copy of "scripts/zadLibs.pex", which is causing all of the issues you've described. If you're using MO, ensure that nothing is overwriting the scripts from DDi. If you're not using MO, reinstall this mod's scripts over the top of everything else. Something is overwriting this mod that shouldn't be!
Min Posted February 5, 2015 Author Posted February 5, 2015 Loving this update so far and didn't encounter major issues. But two things I'd like to mention: 1) the restrictive collar looks really nice, but it doesn't impose any penalties, as far as I can tell. Shouldn't something like this make archery a lot harder? And - if possible - turning around might be slower as well 2) the restrictive boots don't slow me down at all (mcm option is checked). I have to add that I did not start a new game. Removed the prior versions, installed the new ones, cleaned the save. Yeah, there are no gameplay mechanics beyond new periodic messages at the moment for the restrictive collar. We intend to add more gameplay effects in the next update. See https://github.com/DeviousDevices/DDi/issues/67 for details, and submit any ideas you have. Can't speak to the boots slow effect, as that's implemented by Expansion.
Wolferlicu1 Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Did anyone test this with Perkus Maximus? I'm curious if the SkyRe option in DD has any issues with devious devices in general or other mods.

steiny Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Hi! First, I really like the mod and all the DD mods. I have one little problem on the quest of Sergius's Experiment. I was wearing his belt and soulgem but got caught in a full set of slut in the middle of nowhere. So instead of walking 2 hours to end the quest, I set me free. Unfortunately, the soulgem of Sergius has alsoi disappeared. It is thus impossible to me to finish the quest of Sergius. Could someone help me? Reset the quest maybe? Thanks in advance

t3h0th3r Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 ok, i only did a upgrade (with minor script cleaning). i'd rather not fully remove DDxyz since that would mean i'd have to redo a few questlines depending on it, but if it has to be then it has to... anyways, here full gory log details: [02/05/2015 - 10:31:06PM] [Zad]: OnUnequipped(Thanatera: Nipple Piercings (Soulgem))[02/05/2015 - 10:31:09PM] [Zad]: RemoveDeviceWithKey called, actor has correct key. BlackHoleEyes Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 I wouldn't mind a MCM option to remove the "no sprint" from the restrictive boots.
greyspammer Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 I wouldn't mind a MCM option to remove the "no sprint" from the restrictive boots. Isn't there already one? I remember seeing a checkbox called "Boots slowdown" or something like that on the expansion tab of the DD MCM.
Dreamweaver Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 I've certainly got that option in the mod menu - to turn off the no-sprint effect on boots. I assume that's for all boots and not just for the restrictive ones. I had an idea about some of the penalties, actually. Would it be possible to allow the PC to adapt and remove some of the effects? For example, I think the bra reduces your one handed, two handed and archery skills. How about reducing those penalties once you've worn a device in the relevant class for a total number of (X) days, and maybe removing it entirely if worn for twice as long. Possibly you could even have it at that point that not wearing the relevant device would now apply a penalty instead. So say you've worn a bra for a long time. At first you get a hit to combat skills. After a while, as your character adapts to the shape and weight of it, the penalty is halved. Then eventually she's fully adapted and can fight without penalty in a bra. But, if she takes it off, she now has to adapt again, so fighting bra-less now applies the penalty. You could do something similar with sneak penalties and no-sprint on boots. I've no idea how hard that might be to script, or if you'd want to. Possible?

I remember seeing a checkbox called "Boots slowdown" or something like that on the expansion tab of the DD MCM. I think that's different. Not sure, but think so. Some boots, like the slave boots and pony boots, actually make your character move slower. Like you move 50% slower with the boots on. You can still sprint, but that's slowed also. I'd like a switch to make it so you can at least sprint with the restrictive boots on. I clicked that checkbox when i installed 2.90, and deactivated the slowing, but i still couldn't sprint.
Atuarre Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 So far I'm having an error with chastity belts and plugs. I can't remove the newer plugs, I get a message about a chastity belt blocking my ability to remove them. I'm not wearing a belt at the time. Using Resetinventory gets rid of it but upon loading a save the plug(s) appear again, but without being shown in the inventory. Is this due to a bad save? I am having the exact same problem. Rebuilt my entire install from scratch, new data folder, new game save, new everything. Still happening with plugs from both DD and Captured Dreams.

Sprint is unaffected by that setting, some boots allow it (Pony), some don't (Restrictive, Slave). What's affected is the 25% movement penalty applied by all DDx boots. Those also hold in plugs now, not just belts.

Add an iron plug, insert it, and I pick up 0E031703 and a script 0D018C7C I think... If I removeitem 0D018C7C, the script, the plug comes out without complaint, or sound, or text box. Otherwise I have to stand there until that script causes it to fall out. No belt or harness, etc. This applies to all plugs from Assets, captured dreams, or cursed loot. Edit: I should point out that I had to abandon my last game because I got stuck with Orgasmo/Punisher, had an inventory full of quest items, and could not tell what script needed to die to get rid of them so I could actually play... and I really wanted to solve the problem, but I know very little about modding Skyrim. Any help would be appreciated.
Coopervane Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 My guess: You've got an outdated DD mod installed that needs to be updated for 2.9.0.
Atuarre Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 My guess: You've got an outdated DD mod installed that needs to be updated for 2.9.0. This is a brand new data folder and game, less than two days old. It's all 2.9.0. Including the recent patches for Captured Dreams. I went through and checked the versions on absolutely everything. DDa DDi DDx DDCL and DDCD are all I have installed, aside from their prerequisites, which are also all current. Edit: DDCD is actually 3.84 and DDCL is 4.3.7, but DDa/DDi/DDX are all 2.9.0.
Min Posted February 6, 2015 Author Posted February 6, 2015 You ignored the troubleshooting section of the opening post, so it's not really possible to do more than take odd-shot guesses at your problem.
dogos Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 hi i just wanted to mention something regarding the belt / plug removal if u are using other dd mods and mod organizer... you have to change the load oder of the mods (not the plugins/esps) so that no other dd mod (in my case the current version of captured dreams) overwrites the belt.pex wich means that ddi is most likely the last of your dd mod files to beloaded after all the others. if you dont do this you wont be able to remove plugs even if the belt is unequiped... and this might be added to the first page and install instructions due to the fact that more and more ppl are using mod organizer i hope this helps

I'm not using Mod Organizer, but redeploying DDi into the data/ folder seems to have sorted the problem. Yeah, I'm one of the crazies who does the data folder manually, and I had CD after DDi in my load order. Thank you!
spoonsinger Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Yo! However can't update my lootificated setup because :- [image]http://postimg.org/image/vcxiopybn/[/image] I'm using MO, so not a problem just going back, but just thought I'd point it out.

Looks like the author of Aradia's stuff was using the bad boots keyword (We fixed an issue pertaining to that this release). Post that image over in his/her thread.
