New Version is up: 2.9.0

 

To update, copy new files over existing files. A new save-game may be required. Some testers encountered problems with the upgrade from 2.8.3 to 2.9.0, though others (Such as myself) did not. Zaz Animation pack version 602 or higher is now required. 

 

Changelog:

The Devious Devices framework no longer supports UNPB. In it's place, UNP has been officially adopted.

 

New items:

Yoke

  • This is a new 'heavy bondage' item.  It shares many similarities to the armbinder, but is considerably harsher.
  • New Struggle Animations
  • New Escape Mechanics
  • New Dialogue
  • Sexlab Filter Integration
  • New Periodic Event(s)
Restrictive Gloves

  • This New item occupies the hands slot, and can be worn with any other set of devices.
  • New Periodic Event(s)
Restrictive Collar

  • Think the old posture collar looked uncomfortable? Try this one on for size.
  • New Periodic Event(s)
Restrictive Corset

  • This new item is an alternative to the existing Harnesses, and occupies the same slot as them. 
  • This item will automatically merge with chastity belts (In effect, switching to a unique model that includes a belt) to avoid clipping.
  • New Gameplay Effects (Stamina regen, Shouts)
  • New Periodic Event(s)
New Plugs and Effects

  • Chaos Plugs - Randomly selects Vibrate, Strong Vibrate, Very Strong Vibrate, or Shock upon periodic activation. New "Chaos" periodic event powers these.
  • Shocker Plugs - Vibrates very strongly, and shocks the wearer as the effect ends. Instead of starting a vibration at max arousal, delivers a very powerful shock.
  • New Effect (periodic shocks). Will periodically shock it's wearer. Not currently used by any DDi plugs, though used by DDx.
All new items come with appropriate crafting recipes.

 

Modified items:

Armbinder

  • No longer exclusive with gloves, hides gloves and armcuffs
  • Slot changed to '46' (Commonly used for Cloaks). Massive clipping otherwise.
Chastity bra / Nipple piercings

  • These two items are no longer mutually exclusive, and can be worn together.
  • Bra hides nipple piercings by default.
  • Cannot add or remove nipple piercings while wearing a bra.
Vaginal piercings

  • Can no longer be added or removed while a harness is worn.
Harnesses

  • Now holds in plugs like belts do.
  • Cannot remove or insert plugs while harness is on.
Other stuff:

MCM

  • New MCM menu for DDx allows the player to disable the boots slowing effect
  • New MCM option to disable the bound animations filter. If this option is selected, heavy bondage implements (Currently the Yoke and Armbinder) will be temporarily removed for the scene, and reequipped after sex has completed.
Device hider

  • This has been moved to slot 41.
Bug fixes

  • Fixed an animation filter bug that would cause same-sex animations to be played inappropriately. 
  • Fixed a conflict between the blocking harness, and the chastity bra.
  • Fixed gender innapropriate animations being played while bound.
  • Fixed multiple-activation problem with harnesses.
  • Fixed lock jamming issue while removing items from corpses
  • Fixed key breaking issue when removing items from followers
  • Fixed armbinder afterstruggle camera issue
  • Fixed generic device function calls on NPC's.
  • Fixed several key-break message bugs when interacting with NPC's.
  • Fixed bra/blocking harness interaction. The breast compression system will no longer release while wearing a blocking harness.
  • A plethora of other smaller bugfixes/changes that I'm probably forgetting about.
Slot Changes:

  • Vaginal Piercings: 51->50
  • Nipple Piercings: 56->51
  • Armbinders/Yokes: 33->46
  • Vaginal Plugs: 54->57
New Keywords:

  • zad_DeviousHeavyBondage - The first of a set of "Device Category Keywords", intended to simplify life for modders. Note, that this will not break existing armbinder behavior.
  • zad_DeviousYoke - New device type keyword.
  • zad_DeviousYokeQuest - As "zad_DeviousArmbinderQuest", indicate to the system that this device should not be processed by interaction dialogues.
  • zad_DeviousGloves - New device type keyword.
  • zad_DeviousCorset - New device type keyword.
  • zad_EffectChaosPlug - New plug effect keyword.
  • zad_EffectShockOnFullArousal - New plug effect keyword.
  • zad_EffectShocking - New plug effect keyword.
For Modders:

  • Added new  API function to disable blacksmith yoke mechanic (Intended to be called on game load by your mod, if your mod offers an alternative escape mechanic (eg. Captured Dreams)).

There wouldn't happen to be a more barebones version, would there? Or, at least, a way to remove the parts that pertain to the questline and that require Sexlab Aroused?

 

I'd rather not fluffle around with quests, nor further burden my Skyrim install with Aroused's scripts. The rest of the content, however? I do indeed lust fer it.

Devious Deviants.esp contains all of the quests. Don't use it if you don't want them.

 

Sexlab Aroused is required, however. No working around that. Use Redux for a lighter scripting footprint.

Oh, the quests are optional? Fan-dabby-doozy!

 

Shame about Aroused being an absolute requirement. Did some reading, and I figure that it shouldn't be too hard to modify it; reduce the distance that the script searches NPCs for, and increase the time between searches.

Updated assets, integration and expansion and when I loaded up my game after a save, only some of the old devices were showing up on my NPC follower ( in inventory ) but not shown were, vag piercings and the leg cuffs. 

 

Any ideas?

First of all: Nice work, once again! The corset is breathtaking (literally xD).

 

So, I just skimmed your Github page, and I've stumbled across the Sergius issue, which seems to be quite long there.

First, the idea of shortening the time between the events is really good. Second, to make it clearer that you only have the small period of time, maybe let Sergius explain, that

- it's only a prototype

- he noticed the problem that the plug heats up more and more

- so to avoid a possible explosion and a painful death of the test subject (the player) he had to build in some kind of a bypass, so the plug will give all the saved energy to the body of the wearer (result: orgasm and an empty plug), just before it holds too much energy.

- as a consequence there is only a short time window to remove the plug, just when it is (nearly) full, but doesn't have to activate the bypass.

 

I'm sure there are some people out there who could rewrite this to be more compatible to the D lore ;)

1) Are you using any mods which modify assets (Such as bodyslide conversions, For Him, etc)?

2) Do the problems persist on a new save-game?

I seem to be unable to equip certain immersive armor helms as well... I tried running a clean start with only immersive and I did not have any problems with the helms/armors so I guess it's a slot issue?

 

Any help is appreciated

Sorry if this has been asked already but will things go wrong for UNPB users now or will UNP work ok?

 

You'll probably experience visual clipping if you continue to use UNPB, as the bodytype is no longer supported.

i'm getting some spam about wrongly added keyword (namely that the vag piercing has the vag piercing keyword). is there a quick console workaround or should i just delete the piercing prior to the upgrade?

 

Also for those using Dual Sheath Redux, make sure you don't use a slot used by DD for  DSR, (in my case moved from 57 to 54).

I imagine a heavily-boned corset will completely prevent our lovely heroine from bending and twisting above the waist. I'm sure that that will severely affect her combat skills (maybe One/two handed), since she can only use her arm strength at that point?

Actually, that's a good idea, since I'm handy with programming stuff anyway. I think that the only difference from the default version (at least initially), will be a one/two handed skill debuff due to the corset's severity. Maybe up the default debuffs a tad just to make things a bit harder for the unfortunate wearer!

 

I won't be happy until the poor dragonborn is slowly teetering around Skyrim in a ridiculously tight waist cincher, dammit!

 

However, I'm a bit scared of the CK - I've read horror stories about it on this forum. Will it drive me to insanity?

Yup. The system is built on basic Object Oriented principles, in an attempt to be easily extendible / customizable. 

 

In your case however, if you're just looking to apply vanilla debuffs, you don't even need to script. Just create a new corset enchantment (Keeping the same effects as the stock corset enchantment), and add new magic effects for your debuffs to it.

I was use this mod, when PC sneak near bandit, the vibrate from plugs make PC stand up and surrounded by many bandits immediately. Even though I use DEFEAT and SUBMIT,the belt prevent PC to surrender but only killed. Then I uninstall it...(Some body tell me the Death Alternative will cause many bugs and I have no use it, well, no bugs and CTDs at all.)

A few days ago I play a Japanese rpg game, PC captured by demons and forced equip a magic belt fixed with randomly vibrate plugs, when any males‘ dick near, this belt will Unloading automatic, when dick far away, the belt will equip automatic.

I think it would be good if belts force PC aroused and sex.
