Gameplayer Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 It'll be a while before I can have a fix ready to go.
Deathmaw Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 So the chastity bra still compresses npc breasts even with the option unticked. Is there a way around this?
Min Posted February 7, 2015 Author Posted February 7, 2015 It'll be a while before I can have a fix ready to go. You'll need to: a) Update the keyword property on your script. If you want to avoid breaking the boots in existing savegames, you'll need to clean up the baked-in property value. See lines 5-11 for an example of how to do this: https://github.com/DeviousDevices/DDx/blob/master/00%20Core/Scripts/Source/zadSlaveBootsScript.psc#L5 So the chastity bra still compresses npc breasts even with the option unticked. Is there a way around this? If you disabled the feature while an NPC was wearing the bra, the change won't be applied immediately. Just close skyrim / restart to solve.

I disabled it a while ago and have saved and exited and played the game numerous times. It still makes their breasts almost flat after they have worn it for a few seconds. It stays like this till I take it off them.
blacksheep12 Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 I have a little problem with the restrictive collar unfortunately it locks on and everything but it doesnt do anything how my characters head is locked in a position theitem apears but is does not lock my characters neck so my chars chin/face clips thro it i updated the assets the integration then zaz animation is there anything else i may have forgotten?thanks B.
Koffii Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Much as we'd love to lock the head, there's currently no way to do in skyrim (that we know of). So, it's working as intended.
Content Consumer Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Much as we'd love to lock the head, there's currently no way to do in skyrim (that we know of). So, it's working as intended. I think that would require altering every single idle animation in the game to ensure the head doesn't move. Then again, there is this mod (and others like it)... Taking it as a base, I wonder if you couldn't do something like put an invisible, virtual head right in front of the player, and give that head maximum priority, so her gaze never wavers from dead-on...
blacksheep12 Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Thanks for the fast response sad to hear that the clipping is intended hope in the future something will be done about it

You can only replace animations in Skyrim, you can't add them. So if we altered every animation in the game, it would also affect you when not wearing the collar, and all NPCs as well. The mod you're referencing makes use of built-in functionality in skyrim to track NPCs and objects in the game. It doesn't gain direct control over the head/spine bones.
Content Consumer Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 The mod you're referencing makes use of built-in functionality in skyrim to track NPCs and objects in the game. It doesn't gain direct control over the head/spine bones. But can't that built-in functionality be fooled? Put an invisible head directly in front of the player (xyz coordinates are forced to local based on player's head or something), and then force the player's head to track the invisible one? Or am I misunderstanding the problem itself?
Koffii Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Purely hypothetically, if we wanted to go to all that trouble, even if you could parent something to the player, it'd be parented to the NPC root - the ground below the player. It wouldn't react to movements introduced by the animation system, only to rough transformations like player movement and rotation. So it wouldn't prevent the head movements, it would just make the PC stare at a point in front of him at all times, also when the player is crouched, or the body is twisted during fight animations.

Ah... that explains why items like the SD+ chaurus worm etc always sit at the player's feet. Oh well, too bad. It can't be parented to a worn item instead of the player?
Koffii Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 You mean to a bone in the skeleton. Well, I can't say for certain, but it'd introduce a dependency of the world state on the animation system, and that's just asking for trouble, so it's highly unlikely.
Princessity Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 If it involves tracking and adjusting anything in real time you can forget about it ^^ Skyrim's script engine chokes up and dies even if you try to run a simple operation once a second and it is not even capable of running one every frame (which would be ideal) outside of hardcoded conditions (not scriptable) Soooooo having an object move simultanously with the player and facing the same relative direction right now is impossible. The game may have come out in 2011 but the engine was primitive and outdated even back then. I'm not sure but I think they've been using the same old thing since Morrowind.
Min Posted February 7, 2015 Author Posted February 7, 2015 Disabling head-tracking is something we intend to experiment with for 2.9.1: https://github.com/DeviousDevices/DDi/issues/131
daverboy Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 An idea for a possible future feature. Thieves can try to pick lock restraints with lockpicks, mages can try to break free with magic, but so far, as far as I can tell, the brute force option never works. It might be nice to include a way for warriors to break free, possibly basing it on a skill like heavy armor or 2-handed.
devilhunter89 Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 After downloading the updates (on a new save) the items don't show up on character. but they do show as equipped in inventory. All device events trigger an error message that pops up 3 times. I tried reinstalling all 4 mods and tried removing dd expac but nothing has helped. I have the log and screans but cant figure out how to post either so I give up iv spent all day trying to fix this ... Papyrus.0.7z

One of your mods (Probably Captured Dreams - Vel accidentally bundled a bunch of bad scripts with a recent release) is overwriting DDi's scripts. If you're using MO, set this mod to be of the highest priority; Nothing should overwrite it's scripts. If you're not using MO, reinstall this mod.
JuliusXX Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 One think I noticed when my pc was wearing a heavy yoke. I'm using SkyUI to have different clothing sets with user defined hotkeys and I can still activate a hotkey assigned to a clothing set when wearing a yoke. This means I can change my clothing and kinda "remove" the yoke (or similar item), which means I can open my inventory, use weapons, cast spells etc. Is there a way to prevent the use of these user defined hotkeys? If not directly then maybe add an option to MCM for a user to define the keys that will not work when wearing such a restrictive item.

Coopervane Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Hello, I do not know if this is a problem with Integration, or another mod, but I do not get the option for an NPC to help me out of my restraints. When I speak to an npc with restraints on, there simply isn't an option there for them to help me out of it. There are only two items that NPC's can help you with, Ambinders and Yokes. And that's assuming they are standard items, with quest-items from other DD mods, even that might not work (read the mod descriptions). The only other items that change NPC interactions are gags, but NPC's won't help you out of those, it just makes it more difficult for you to speak with them.

Edit: I do have another problem, though. I went through the whole quest with Zed, and finished the quest line, but I am still unable to craft keys. Do I need a certain blacksmithing perk for this? I have it set on easy to craft them. Should probably mention that I've read every single book in the forbidden bookcase.
Coopervane Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Reading the book whilst it's still inside the book case doesen't work, because Skyrim is a thing of bugs and annoyance. You need to take the book into your inventory, exit the bookase, then read the book from your inventory, and you will be given the Devious Smithing perk.
akyryz Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 I want to decrease the event interval below 0.5, because my timescale is 3 so one in game hour is 15 minutes. I tried changing the zadconfig.psc script accordingly but it spit out a bunch of errors from zadlibs about slautilscr. Is there another way to do that? setpqv zadconfigquest eventinterval 0.15 this will fire every 9 min game time based on that event percent chance now note that plugs works around 20 sec real time... this can make your plugs work forever! so set a high interval rate for safety... i also set stamina drain rate to 100% so she looks like getting tired or so and i changed the lying climax animation to a kneeling one i just wish i could slow her down somehow when the plugs are on =\
