I just kinda assume that you and Min work closely with each other, considering that you kinda need both to enjoy the content. Well still... The specifics of how the blindfold will function have not yet concretely been decided. From a realism point of view, obstructing vision (Like zaz currently does) makes sense. From a gameplay point of view, you have but one other sense to fall back on (Sound). Very few people enjoy having their main window in to the game environment obstructed (I myself fall in to this category). I'm playing with a few different ideas for implementing it still. i would love that it would do something similar to the sonic helmet from one of the minecraft mods, where evrything is black and outlined white and sounds make icons appear, for some more fun at the start the qorld would fade in and out and over time since your pc gets more used to relying on her hearing the full effect would start to appear

Min might mean to make it so that the player experiences some kind of helplessness. Then again, I dunno what Min might be thinking of... so I'ma just try and cool my jets 'bout it. Which is proving hard to do.

With regards to the way Zaz handles blindness, it simply tints the screen by a %, which is incredibly disconcerting in a game which relies almost exclusively on being able to see. Realistically, if you go blind, your not completely lost, you can hear and feel the world around you and your brain can create a crude map of what it thinks your immediate surroundings look like. Several games in the past have employed a visual blindness aspect to a part of them and create a system in which for you to understand what is going on. Skyrim is obviously way too complicated for a third party to come in after the fact and lay in on top of it a functional blindness, and while I like the Zaz implementation of pulsing, I think a more useful and playable alteration would be an inverse in the way the human eye works. Apply a total blindness effect to the center of the screen, and a gradient fade outwards towards the edge of the players field of view. I will however admit I have no idea if custom fov settings would interfere with this or if there is a simple way of dealing with that. However, all of this is neither here nor there, and I'm rambling again.

Its a overcomplicated but very elegant solution at least. I think the most important thing is be able to see all the sexlab and zaz animations in all their full glory.

Then I would suggest only obstructing vision in first person mode. "From a realism point of view", you can't view yourself in third person anyway. That camera is out of character. Obstructing vision there doesn't make sense from a realism point of view in the first place. The only challenge would be including immersive first person. Aside from that, I'd say you can also fiddle with activation filter perks and the like. Perhaps make it so that you have to activate something before you can know what it is and interact with it - which, in the case of persons, maybe won't be taken as kindly or misunderstood. Crafting would probably be impeded as well. Trying to interact with a hot forge is not the best idea when blind, unless you don't value your fingers. Just tossing out ideas. Maybe an idea would be to have it only display on the character in 3rd person so you can see what your doing to move around the map/involved in sex scences but then in first person you can only see around the edges and/or the bottom so if you want to see whats directly infront of you then you need to tilt your head back.

Might be a possible addition to the DD assets, with the view through it being small circles over the screen that you could see out of:

That's actually one of the default female nord presets. I didn't want to spend too much time fiddling around with the sliders so I just picked a preset and went with it after tweaking only a few parameters. The result was surprisingly satisfactory. In case anybody is wondering: the hair is from the SG Hair Pack and the textures are from the SG Female Textures pack. The body is obviously CBBE and the harness is, well... devious. Did I also spot a re-texture of the ball-gag? Only thing missing now is a pair of locking slavish-"friendly" footware Some of the material parameters have been slightly tweaked for better visual results (thanks to Coopervane for his input). This affects a number of components across several devices, including the ball from the harness gag, making it a bit more reflective. As for footwear: No boots/shoes are planned at the moment. what happens to the RP anyway? its like it died or something... It's not dead and there's nothing stopping you guys from continuing that devious tale (a betraying queen, a drunk wizard, a sneaky Dragonborn... lots of potential here), but in order to keep this thread meaningful for those coming here primarily for information or technical advise I'd prefer it if any RP contributions are kept occasional and/or as part of a post relevant to DD:Assets. Another option is of course is for those of you interested in doing more serious role-playing on a regular basis to start a dedicated RP thread.
