cecik Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 The files are so-calles 'split' files. Unpack/repack the archives with 7-zip Or alternatively download this little jewel: http://www.hjsplit.org/windows/ Use it to combine the 2 files into 1 archive, which you can then install with your mod manager of choice.
ziacer Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Thanks for the info guys. And thanks for keeping up the good work btw.
ziacer Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Turns out the previous multipart archives weren't feeling the Christmas spirit yet. Please refer to the following link instead (the official link will be updated to match shortly). Edit: The primary link should now be updated. i reinstalled like 5 times now and i cannot get the new items to work. They are just invisible. I checked the data folders and i don´t have anything that looks like it could be the meshes for them. Is this an error on my part or a bug?

I do have that, still no luck. All the new stuff is invisible.
Lyreal Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 I do have that, still no luck. All the new stuff is invisible. I have the same problem here. I installed all new DD mods (DDi,DDa,DDx) and bodyslide with CBBE option and Pre-build CBBE +HDT but the items are not visible outside the menu.
Princessity Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Installing bodyslide is not enough. You have to generate the device meshes to fit your body. The UI is very intuitive, but there's also lots of tutorials on the subject. I suggest starting by reviewing the description, linked documentation and top 2 comments of the official bodyslide download.
kurotatsu Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 You have to use BodySlide to build meshes.
handsandarrows Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Can i stay with 2.92 DDa, but upgrade DDi to latest? Or will it cause problem? Only change from 2.9.2 to 3.0.0 is Bodyslide, correct? Sorry, please ignore, i see DCL wants 3.0.0 version, so i will just upgrade. Thank you for your work!
Clea Strange Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 I have the UUNP body and the slave harness or the Chastiy Gear doesn't show my female character wearing them though the little pop up says that I am wearing them and I am wondering if I did something wrong to have the devious stuff not showing up on my character except for collar, armbinders and slave heels
noobsaleh Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Does that mean I no longer need DD Corner? What about the Cursed Loot slider sets? Correct on the first one, but DCL still comes with its own items and sliders. What about the Expansion items? EDIT: Nevermind, just noticed the Expansion update. Thank you! (:
LatexLuger Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Do these items just need to be run through the batch build, or do I need to do the whole Outfit Studio song and dance?
Princessity Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Do these items just need to be run through the batch build, or do I need to do the whole Outfit Studio song and dance? They can be batch built. In fact it's recommended because there's a lot of them.

Kimy Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 I prepared a new version including a fix for the harness collar, but Zadil needs to update the download page as he's the thread owner. Here is the link in the meantime: https://github.com/DeviousDevices/DDa/archive/V3.0a.zip If you don't want to re-download the entire archive, here is a patch: DDa-HarnCollar-fix.zip
dragongodmod117 Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Not too sure what's going on here... I've updated all Devious Devices mods and upon loading I get an error saying that I have the wrong ZaZ Animation Pack file. I just went and redownloaded the newest file and everything. Says I need 6.10 and that I have 6.07, but my files say that I have 6.11. Do I just ignore this error?
firebinder Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Okay, I see that one of the major changes in this version is to remove support for the CBBE Curvy body, which is the one I happen to use. So where does this leave me? Must I switch to another body, and if so which one would be the least trouble to switch to, given that I have many clothing/armor mods that use CBBE Curvy?

No need to switch anything.
z4m0lx3s Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 In Bodyslide 4.0, all the DDA and DDX CBBE new meshes appear under the unassigned group. When selecting unassigned, NONE of the Bodyslide presets (original, or my own) show in in the dropdown list. Am I doing something wrong?

That's what usually fixes this sort of thing.

EDIT - I have the original 3.8 archive, but I'm not sure about where to upload or even if I can.

That's what usually fixes this sort of thing. I'm having this issue as well, along with the new bodyslide (v4.0). Anyone else also have this issue? Yes. And I have spent a couple of hours trying to work out what you do next. Mercifully, going away for a few days, and am hoping that when I come back, someone will have addressed the problems of the clueless, such as me Can someone, please, explain in words of one syllable to the technically ignorant such as myself, how you use Bodyslide? Using Bodyslide 4. I've read the wiki. I've read the github instructions. While I am sure that it is clear to techies, for the uninitiated, most of it sounds like someone speaking in a foreign language, using some obscure regional dialect that omits most of the verbs and all of the punctuation More seriously, I managed to find the assets and the groups in which they appear. But selecting even just one item, like the hobble skirt, to try to 'build' it, there are no target presets showing at all to build it to. Do I have to rebuild the body first, to get those, or something else? TIA, to anyone who will take the trouble to help thickos like me
