What do you play now?

Finally got around to playing Red Dead Redemption 2. Been enjoying it a lot so far. Arthur's a cool character, the NPCs act like real people, plays good, and the graphics are fucking gorgeous. The only thing I don't like are the treasure hunt missions, but they're optional, so I guess that's not really a big deal.

The best part is, you can lose everything to gambling. Not that I'd speak of experience...

Man, I sunk like 40 minutes into Dominoes, and I still have no idea how to play that game lol.

Nothing.

I was playing Horizon Forbidden West, done probably 80% of it and stopped.

Got bored.

I still did not have yet installed Dragons Dogma II.

And I do not think I will install it soon.

Busted out the old PS3 and played through the first COD: Black Ops campaign for the first time since high school. Holy shit, that game kicks ass. My only gripe with it is that Veteran Mode is insane bullshit.

took almost two hours to rebuild my mod load order after the next-gen update for Fallout 4 but all is running well for me on Series X.

There's another update coming next week and I hope I don't have to rebuild it again.....

Elderscrolls online.

It’s tremendous how easy I can get lost in exploring the continent :classic_blush:

M&B; Warband plus dlc. Think I got it super cheap and am just now playing it. Mixed feelings on this one. Keep thinking I will quit playing it the next time the game fucks me. But still keep playing it because I love the sound of smacking fools from horseback. Solid core with so many fucking misses and flaws.

With the weather where I live it would be:

Is it even playable without LL mods? 🫣

:classic_dry: It lacks certain … „features“.

E.g.: The entertainment department in the Inn in Ebonheart has the appropriate mindset but somehow, the player seems to be interrupting the NPCs.

:classic_unsure: And neither would they continue in my presence nor would they let me gather some XP from whatever activities they are doing 🙈

Coincidentally, primarily games which give players the option to control cat-people avatars. At least 5 of those also provide opportunities to play Elven Rogues/Thieves/Ninjas but that is hardly noteworthy, is it?

I'm still playing XEdit with a bit of CK and Nifskope. 😬 My goal is to play Skyrim SE before I die.*

* It's even money at the moment.

How many webs do you browse? 🤔

And while I have your attention - do you play games like this and are they any good?

All of them. Other than TOR, they all have their own filters so it can be amusing to see what the corporation that produce the things are pushing at the moment.

As for the other thing, generally no. I tried out a few 'adult' games just to see what they were on about but I would rather a game with better gameplay with a bit of racy content sprinkled in than a sexually themed game that might as well be pornographic movies with extra steps to starting the video.

Thanks. Just after posting I came across a walkthrough for Genesis Order and after watching parts of a few episodes I would agree with your assessment.

I hate, HATE to admit this but I just started Raid: Shadow Legends yesterday. It's been at least a decade since I've played anything like it (League of Angels 2). I'm going to try hard not to fall into the money trap aspect.

Another Uboat rant.

This game is really nice, but it suffers heavily from the standard of today, that being the "Release a game in alpha state, and let the people pay to be our alpha testers." mentality.  Case in point:

One of the new mechanics of the patrol system is to have BDU call up and tell you to drop your previous assignment, and go do X, as X is now top priority.  One of the standard missions is to go recon an enemy harbor's air defenses.  One of those harbors is Bergen, Norway.  As some are probably aware, Norway was invaded by Germany during WWII, and Germany was still operating U boats out of Bergen on the last day of the war.  So, saunter on in to the currently neutral Bergen.  Save game right outside the port.  Reload the game several days later.

Interesting; here's the boat moored at the quayside, with flotilla command and stores warehouse et al, as it's supposed to be - LATER in the time frame!

Another example, the newly added Type II boat.  Nicely done.  Except that when the upgrade from the GHG to the KDB hydrophone system is accomplished.  The positioning of the KDB system is for the Type VII model, which is obviously still the underlying model, because while the KDB is present when it replaces the GHG on the Type II, it's half again the distance to the conning tower out beyond the tip of the bow.  Just floating out there, minding it's own business. In the exact spot it's supposed to be on the Type VII model.

It's this sort of thing that bothers me.  Plenty of other examples but the underlying question is "How the heck did no one catch this, and if they did, why was it considered okay to release such a mess in this state without fixing it first?"
