Ghost of Tsushima

I've been very interested in this one, how is it? As amazing as I hope it to be?

I wish it were available on PC, last I heard it was PS exclusive.

Its pretty good I like it. Then again I like games that show the era of that time period in what ever country.

Same haha, I'll see about getting it, really like what I saw from the few short sneak-peeks I gave to vids~

I'm still unclear due to not spoiling myself with any complete information but is it before, during or after the Edo period? ?

I am playing Hitman series in order, right now i'm going through the first game. Then I'll go through the others which will take some time.

I bought the gold version of Hitman II on sale and I just couldn't get into it.  I love the Splinter Cell games and was maybe expecting something similar but I just lost interest after playing a few levels.  I think it was because the maps are so huge and there are so many options that it overloads my brain.  I prefer slightly more linear games.

I play again Fallout 4; fitting to the global mood right now, I think.

Everytime I start a new playtrough with Fallout 4 and compare this game with (vanilla) Skyrim, I realize how bad it is. Without the modding community Fallout 4 would be nothing in my opinion.

  • I tried FO76 at launch and was astonished at what an absolute pile of shit it was, both character customization and gameplay (griefers camping my loot so they can kill me again, etc.) Any modern game with PvP has safeguards to prevent griefing- even as far back as WoW, the game had PVP only in certain areas that players had to affirmatively opt into. Removed FO76 from my machine and never even once thought about trying it again.

They pretty much moved away from pvp in game over the years since its launch, now there is a pacifist setting in the game, though it defaults to off when it triggers at level 5, setting it on means you can not harm other players and they can not really harm you, even with explosives and such, though there are ways around it that are very very slowly getting patched out.  Pretty much the only open pvp areas in game now are workshop zones and it clearly states when you start to claim one you are now open to pvp, that does however over ride the pacifist settings until you leave the workshop, the only thing  you now drop when killed by other players is junk, and that is pretty much common as dirt so most people simply keep moving and forget about reclaiming their stuff, the game has changed quite a bit since launch.   Character customization though is pretty much the same as it was on launch, crappy as hell.

Currently giving Solasta CotM The Lost Valley (DLC) a run.

I really enjoyed Solasta when it came out last year and I'm mostly enjoying this DLC.

Max achievable level is 12 and the best you'll get with weapons and gear is +1. I'm fine with that. What I'm not so fine with is the dearth of the +1 gear. The various armour types are more or less available, weapons less so especially if you want to go with one of the less common types or even a dagger or shortsword. As for things like rings, belts, boots etc. I'm not seeing anything so far (I'm level 5).

Another thing which is doing my head in is how crap my team are. I don't claim to be an expert in 5E rules and Solasta was probably my first meeting with 5E but I know how to build an individual character and a (4-man) team.

I'm using the same four characters I used for the OG and they worked okay then. I used the same four in a couple of mods a few months back and struggled with them. I put this down to the mods being unbalanced or whatnot. With this DLC I have struggled from the off. It's as if there is some behind the scenes mechanic going on.

Me too- it's kinda my trademark. Every time some random guy asks how my bra can possibly be up to the obviously-daunting task, I simply remind him of one of the key properties of pokie-revealing bra cups: "Solasta!"

Been playing some good old GTA Online for a while. Fucking around with friends, winning fights, doing stunts, spamming heists (prep timeloop glitch) and all that jazz. Also doing some FiveM RP stuff.

Also played a bit of Red Dead Online. R* pulled the plug on it so there will be no new content for the game but still, it's fun to screw around in when playing with friends.

i recently had to get a new computer. i can’t be bothered to transfer all my mods and games with semester starting this week, so i’ve just been playing on my switch. the game of the week is animal crossing: new horizons. the game has gotten SO much better than it was at launch, now that they’ve gotten all the content patched in. also the community is really nice now that the uwu empaths who beat the shit out of ugly villagers are mostly gone lol.

Was trying to get through Enderal for about the fifth time and sort of succeeded. Yes I appreciate the effort which went into it, but......

Endings

1) You kiil yourself for the cause and your 'follower' goes on to try to save 'humanity'. But probably not because - you know - lesbians.

2) You don't kill yourself and you and your 'follower' float off to happy abandoned city place to wait for next cycle. Obviously missing the fact that the star peeps probably didn't actually escape the cycle anyway just postponed it. Even if that is not true you are an undead freak and you 'follower' will die anyway.  So actually you'll just be the same as the bloke stuck in the Numidium - oh shit that Elder Scrolls, but that what it's fucking what it is.

3) You take the shitty dream drug and it's all a Patrick Duffy Man From Atlantis Dream about Texas.

Actually I went for 1) because the population doesn't really care that they are living on the dead remains of an extinct civilization and there are literally hundreds on dead bodies lying around with coin which they don't care about. Also 'Things can't get any worse'. Well let me tell you this child! Yes they can! (Actually quite liked being death incarnate on my last and very final run. They all deserved to die, from mopey lesbian to crippled Twilight zone kid, and I would say I would do it all again, but I really can't be bothered. So A++ to game developers enjoy your winter.

Also just to go on a bit. There are at least three higher civilizations in this story which aren't part of the cycle, (four if you include yourself). So even though the peeps are said to be 'people', they really arn't.

Also, Also it makes reading the zillion word boring early story of Jespar totally pointless. He dies. End of.

So all in all I should of taken the same tactic as when a friend bought me Stardew Valley. Play it for a bit. Then just go and do something meaningful with my life. (In that case cut down some trees).  (That said I do have quite a good porno build of Enderal - however I just don't care anymore).

Anyway UberMosh Omega. It's where all the cool kids go for a good time.
