Jeff_9 Posted May 24, 2025 Posted May 24, 2025 I've been playing Brushes with Death DLC for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. It has Henry running errands for a mysterious painter. I hope there's some kind of pay off in the end.
beefers Posted May 31, 2025 Posted May 31, 2025 (edited) currently playing Hardspace: Shipbreaker Edited May 31, 2025 by beefers
Wandering_Mania Posted June 1, 2025 Posted June 1, 2025 The past few days I been playing NFSU2 (Need for Speed Underground 2) again. But mostly I'm back playing Fallout 4.
Raven 54 Posted July 6, 2025 Posted July 6, 2025 I have been playing Red Dead Redemption 2 for a couple of weeks, got it on a Steam Sale, Twenty bucks. I like the game, the controls are exhausting, the game ran well enough but what the hell was Rockstar thinking/doing??? I accidentally picked up a Worn repeater and was stuck with it in my inventory for the whole game, no way to store it in the weapons locker, no way to drop or sell it, so every time I cycled through the list to choose what I wanted to use... there it is. Why could I not pick up weapons and sell them to the gunsmith?? Money is hard to come by so I worked on the treasure maps and locations and by the time (spoiler ahead) Spoiler Arthur died I had the legend of the east pouch, almost 50 of each med, plant, etc in the pouch, fifteen thousand dollars, max ammo, all weapons and upgraded with all changes that can be made, yet (spoiler) Spoiler John starts the game with ten dollars, and none of the upgraded weapons or pouch. This game should be called an animated, guided walkthrough not an RPG as there was little choice in the path taken. There were times I was livid with Rockstar for such a linear path to an ending that, frankly, Sucked! The guys at Rockstar definitely wanted to unleash their Sadistic side and torture the player. Will I play again??? Possibly Is all the grinding for the trophy's, collectables, etc worth my time and effort?? Hell no. I think the guy who made all the cutscene break should have his fingers slowly pulled from his hands, and shoved up his A**!
Canaris Posted July 9, 2025 Posted July 9, 2025 I resintalled Stellaris and holy fuck, it really runs worse than ever before.. So much for the "performance upgrades" that were supposed to come from 4.0 update..

Spoiler As arthur, you stay way from the Pig Farm until you are nearing the last mission ("Our Best Selves"), then you go to the Pig farm, do that BUT you do NOT "find" the money stolen from you. Then, as John, you suffer Abigail telling you "you are going the wrong way" while you ride all teh way over to the Pig Farm, go in and grab the money. KInda kills the story immersion, because I usually have in excess of $15000 saved up at that point. 1

Wandering_Mania Posted July 10, 2025 Posted July 10, 2025 The past couple of weeks I been playing: 1: Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon 2: Captain of Industry Got a few pictures of Capt. of Industry: My dual reactor nuclear power plant, with the uranium mountain in the background I was mining for the fuel rods: Spoiler Then my massive hydrogen reforming plant to fuel all my HFC (Hydrogen Fuel Cell) vehicles: Spoiler And last but not least; A lone road in the middle of my forestry area: Spoiler Oh also, here's some free dockside parking. And yes, that's 'Black Water' (sewage) being dumped into the ocean right next to it. I guess that's why it's free. Oh the smell! : Spoiler
RedHeadAngel Posted July 10, 2025 Posted July 10, 2025 I've been going between Doom: Dark Ages, Oblivion Remastered, Skyrim SE, and Star Wars Battlefront II (PS2). The last one I've been playing with my girlfriend.

So i bought myself GTA 5 and Kingdom Come Deliverance. Something else. Sadly, i think the games i bought do not have any modding going on. I got tired of FO4 a lot in recent weeks. Not sure if anyone feels the same. Anyway, what do you play now? Mount & Blade: Bannerlord. Some nice LL mods here for it.
beefers Posted July 25, 2025 Posted July 25, 2025 Been doing a modded second playthrough of Starfield. It's SO MUCH BETTER with mods and playing the way I want.
Count Chocula Posted July 26, 2025 Posted July 26, 2025 After pooh-pohing it, Oblivion: Remastered, since it was "on sale" (although 20% is not much of a discount). But I barely played it pre-remaster, so it's a whole new game for me in more ways than one. The world looks great but the character sure are ugly. Better looking than unmodded Skyrim, but not as good looking as unmodded Fallout 4. Figure in a couple of years the game will be stable and modding tools and mods will be ready for prime time. Until then, no mods for me.
竹柏影 Posted July 26, 2025 Posted July 26, 2025 Due to my potato PC, there are nothing much to play, though I bought many games on Steam. And time is a problem too. I usually play Mount & Blade Warband; Prototype; CK2; Payday 2; Tale of Immortal and something more.

dnoah Posted July 28, 2025 Posted July 28, 2025 Soloing Project Zomboid has been my "comfort" activity for a while, now. The flow is just right for me, although I realise that a lot of folks would find it tedious. And playthroughs can last for as long as i want (which is a lot). With that said, I certainly don't appreciate that scammy EULA they forced on everyone recently.

Wandering_Mania Posted July 30, 2025 Posted July 30, 2025 I just booted up an old save of FS19 (Farming Simulator 2019) yesterday; After getting bored of playing about 600 skirmish matches of C&C3: Kane's Wrath for the past week or so. I really need some different games. But with Visa being a bitch right now, I really don't want to buy anything.
legendarytoyou Posted July 30, 2025 Posted July 30, 2025 God of War Ragnarok with some FF14 in the mix. Latest expansion Dawntrail kind of stinks but I found myself doing the old relic grind from Realm Reborn. I want the glamour.🥰

You said you play several games (which you list), and "something more," which I assume means you play more games you do not list. I treated the words "something more" as if they referred to a game called "Something More." In the U.S., we might call that a dad joke.
spoonsinger Posted August 1, 2025 Posted August 1, 2025 Finally managed to get BLSE working with Bannerlord under Wine. So modded Bannerlord at the moment. 1

Have you checked out Shokuho at all? I find it to be the most comprehensive and tasteful total conversion mod for Bannerlord to date.

Cold as ice, next time please send it to Antarctica as a refrigerant. We usually call that "Brain Teasers" or just "Cold Jokes" Soviet Joke Someone on a Moscow street yelled, "Brezhnev is a donkey!" Five minutes later, he was sentenced to 15 years—two years for insulting the leader and 13 years for leaking state secrets.
