Released version 6.3.2:

A small update to support Submissive Lola: The Resubmission.  With SLTR, you may pre-select an Auction Buyer who will buy you and come claim you after the auction (that NPC does not actually bid).  For other versions of Submissive Lola, SS++ uses the legacy behavior (the quest is started and you're left on the auction platform, free to seek out a master).  Since SLTR hasn't been ported to SE yet, there be no SE release for SS++ 6.3.2 since it only adds this one feature.

In my experience, Submissive Lola: The Resubmission works just fine on SSE as is. But that could just be for me.

You don't need to do anything regarding this fact if you don't want to, I just wanted to give you my thoughts.

Thanks for the feedback!

I agree, and I have given my recommendation to @HexBolt8 that the Submissive Lola: The Resubmission mod page could  be changed to say that the mod supports both LE and SE.

I am guessing that @HexBolt8 will need to coordinate that mod page change with @MrEsturk.

Given all that, I am planning to convert SS++ 6.3.2 for Skyrim SE for @HexBolt8.

Maybe not the best idea since SLtR is still in development and they might do something that makes it no longer compatible. I would add something in the mod description about it, were I them, though.

That's a very valid concern.  But I think that if "Submissive Lola: The Resubmission" were to change in a way that broke its SE compatibility, the author would hear about it very quickly.  It would either get fixed or converted, and its SE users would wait to upgrade until that happened.  So I think it should be okay to convert 6.3.2 for SE.

Yes, that is my assumption. I examined SLtR very closely, as it is today, and it does not contain any resources or records that need to be converted for SE.

If SLtR ever changes in the future, such that it adds resources or records that do require conversion for SE, then I can provide a conversion at that time.

getting CTD after auction finishes => auctionned off then spawn in nature (and no npc around), then CTD

That's not much information to go on.  What slavery mod were you being sent to?  Did you recognize the area in which you were placed?

can you give more info on this please ? are you wearing anything right before the CTD ? are you able to move around at all after the scene changes ? is the game in the process of trying to attach items on you ?

This version does not use Devious Framework (not to be confused with Devious Devices).  I won't be supporting Devious Framework.

What exactly does this mean?  Does this mean the DFW leash game, "Walk to the slave auction" functionality no longer works?  Or was there some other kind of Devious Framework functionality that was stripped out?

That's right.  You're moved straight from the cell to the auction platform without being led there.

Yes to both those questions. This version has no connection with DFW whatsoever.

Actually I was thinking of the part where slavers walk you to Riften, and then up to the Slave Auction doors, and force you to enter.  Beyond that I never saw any leash stuff work, so I guess it was always just badly broken in Simple Slavery.

Not sure which mod it chose to send me TO, but i was sent in to it via MCG... Other than that i have SD+ , Maria Eden and Kidnapped redux (but that one doesn't show in Death Alternative so not sure if that's working at all with Simple Slavery)...

The area looked like it could be in the fields outside of Mor Khazgur (orc stronghold northwest of map)

The thing is, where you were sent is the important part, not how you arrived at the auction.  Kidnapped Redux is not a SS destination, Maria Eden doesn't send you anywhere (you stay in the slave market), and SD+ always assigns you a master.   Since there was "no NPC around" , it wasn't SD+.   There's no way to tell what was happening or which mod was trying to enslave you.

Yes, that was from Devious Framework.

you don't happen to have DFW installed do you ? i know you have SD tho. if you have both (or even just SD) then it would explain it. you prolly CT's during what i call "the bounce". it happens sometimes when SS sends you somewhere, but for whatever reasons, something happens, and it's like it can't make up it's mind, and you get bounced a few seconds later to somewhere else. i've only experienced this though like maybe once out of every 20 auctions, and i never did until i installed DFW (and still use today).

HexBolt8, not sure how to trace this on your end, but it's kind of like a lag, and SS can't decide where to send you, and sends the player somewhere as "a temp option" and then within 10 to 20 seconds, the player is bounced again to another player, the final destination. no idea how you can trace this on your end. but it's like SS is fighting with another mod to determine where to go, the other mod says "nope not here" and the SS sends to somewhere else. that says "yeah you're ok now" if that makes sense lol.

not a coder so using casual english to hopefully describe this. it is a rare issue though. but maybe the CTD happens during that "Bounce" lag effect.

would need more information though. this would be most likely a direct conflict with something else. (getting load order may work ?)

That's not SS.  It would be the enslaving mod.  Mostly, SS doesn't move the player and simply makes a mod event call for a listening enslavement mod.  That mod then does what it wants with the player.  SD+ is an exception.  For that one, SS will move the player to one of a few fixed points in the world, depending on which master you get.  But that point is determined before ending you, so there's no temporary location or trial & error process.  I got to test the SD+ enslavement a lot when I was testing the SD+ master gender selection, and I never had a glitch when being placed in the world.

Conceivably, if a mod has altered the terrain so that you end up falling through the world, Skyrim might move you to the default position in the center of the map near Whiterun.  But I don't think that's what Shinobi7 was seeing.  Sometimes players see crashes just moving from one place to the next, when the game tries to spawn in a creature or NPC and something goes badly wrong.  I suspect that that's what happened here.

I don't really think there's anything I can do.  If the enslavement mod is acting up, then it's that mod.  If Skyrim is doing a random crash because the player entered a new area, that's Skyrim.  SS either leaves you on the auction platform and sends a mod event, or moves you to a fixed location for SD+, and as far I saw during my recent testing all of those SD+ destinations are okay.

@HexBolt8 Here is the Skyrim SE conversion for SS++ 6.3.2.

Release Notes for SE conversion:

  • I successfully tested the integration with Submissive Lola: The Resubmission.
  • The added NPCs have KS Hairdos, but KS Hairdos is not required. The SE conversion includes all the files needed.
  • As with the previous conversions, I use Zaz8, and I have only tested with Zaz8. I omitted 5 files that conflict or match files included with Zaz8.
  • The only changes needed for the ESP are forwarding two waterflow records. The ESP is left as form 43, and that is OK.

The added NPCs have KS hair? Sure that line's not from Slaves of Tamriel?

My Skyrim SE conversions for both Simple Slavery++ and Slaves of Tamriel have KS Hairdos.

That is because when I use Skyrim SE Creation Kit to export the facegen files for any SE conversion, I use my KSHair FaceGen Export Rig, which gives KS Hairdos to all the NPCs.

Creating KSHair patches for mods is kinda my thing.

Here are some screenshots from inside the Riften Slave Market that illustrate the Simple Slavery NPCs with the KS Hairdos provided by the Skyrim SE conversion.

As folks know, Captured Dreams is no longer available.

I converted the version provided by @TheQueenofTraps to Skyrim SE, so that I could test the integration between Simple Slavery++ and Captured Dreams. This is a super-unofficial conversion that is only intended for testing.

My testing notes:

  • The integration between Simple Slavery++ and Captured Dreams works well. Choosing Captured Dreams as a slavery auction destination teleports you to the slave ship hold after the auction.
  • I used Bodyslide to build the included apparel for UNPB HDT, and verified that they work with UNPB + CBP physics in SE. Not all garments have "bounce".
  • I omitted some non-lore-friendly-color catsuits from the random lists of garments worn by NPCs. All the garments are still in the mod, NPCs just won't wear them randomly.
  • Captured Dreams NPCs were given KS Hairdos, but KS Hairdos is not required, because the SE conversion includes the hair textures that it uses.
  • I ran SSE NIF Optimizer on all the meshes.
  • I used SSEEdit to forward USSEP changes and Dawnguard changes.
  • Regarding issues and workarounds discussed here. When beginning slavery, the yoke will not be removed. This is because Captured Dreams was not updated to work with Devious Devices version 4.x. As a workaround, use the Devious Followers debug MCM, or some other "cheat" technique, to remove the yoke before leaving the ship. When the "pay debt" option is chosen to begin slavery, after arriving at the Captured Dreams shop, the Master will endlessly read the note. Save and load the save to kick the scene.
  • The Party Favors quest as Elewen's temporary slave in the Thalmor Embassy can get stuck on the guard entertainment if the Thalmor Guards aggro on an invisible enemy, as discussed here and here. I suspect the problem might be due to the invisible player clone used by Spank That Ass for player-voiced comments. Turning off those parts of Spank That Ass can reduce the likelihood of the guards aggroing, but does not prevent it completely. Use the console command setstage CDxExpQuest02 360 to advance out of the guard entertainment.
