So I had to remove Wasteland Ballistics from my order because I thought it was the culprit. What was happening is when a Violate scene was playing out with multiple rounds, sometimes the PC would die after the third or fourth round. I suspected a bleeding wound from WB. But I am still seeing deaths occasionally, only PC, after more than one round of Violate initiated AAF animations. Any ideas? Btw, this is something I noticed a while back, as far as a year ago. I can rule out WB, for one I've removed it, and also I would surrender via hotkey before a shot (or melee) was fired and still get the death.

Are you using Sexual Attributes as there's a setting to allow being fucked to death which needs to be turned off.

 

That one caught me out once or twice on new game starts

Yep, it has a feature where sex wears you down via "damage" to your health (normally only slightly, but brutal sex with mutants, creatures and especially giants has more impact). The more sexual encounters in rapid succession without time to recover, the worse the impact. As a safeguard there's a toggle to prevent a sex act which would put you at 0 health or lower from doing so.

@EgoBallistic So, I'm using SKK50's Combat Stalkers mod, which will randomly spawn NPC's to either track you down or in patrols, and once they've defeated you, they will despawn from the area they showed up in. 

So, seeing as Violate is the mod that spawns notes on NPC's when they attach a shock collar, and then they despawn from the game, I am unable to kill them and retrieve their note for the code to my characters collar. ... How do I remove the collar now? Guess all of the thousands of permutations of a 4 digit code for a Shock Collar rank 3? ... or is there another work around I'm missing?

There's always destroying it through the debug MCM, or you could use one of the various mods which gets NPCs to offer to remove it or lets you take it off with a workbench like DD Armorbench Unlocker.

If it's a shock collar from Real Handcuffs, DDAU actually will not remove those.  Only Devious Devices and the handcuffs from RH.

 

Does the willpower unlocking feature from Sex Attributes work on shock collars?  I can't actually recall.  Usually mine get removed via Sexual Harassment at some point.

Oh, neat. I didn't realize it didn't cover the collars (only the cuffs). I must have never actually tried to do that.

I don't think so, but maybe I've been incorrectly assuming its collar option only removed DD collars. Worth testing I suppose.

I just tested it and it doesn't. You just get a message saying the device can't be removed with willpower

Yep, I agree, I've used it for that in the past. I didn't mention that because it got hidden for a while, I didn't realize it had been unhidden since.

Yeah.. took some persuasion.. but it's to much fun and waay to much work was put in to just hide it.

Unfortunately, because of that error, we can't see any more recent ones.  So yeah, tell it to save the log to file and you'll be able to see the whole thing.

Here's another error list, but I have both "Atomic Lust" and "Mutated Lust", which I guess it means with "RUFGT's animation pack"? As per the tags it's weird, as the other way around (me as the victim) it works perfectly.

You have a script from StaticPhobia's scripts patch installed which is overriding one of Violate's scripts.  That is causing the problem.

 

StaticPhobia's patch modified Violate to use the "MASTER" tag.  That's why you have the error about "incudeTags(MASTER)".  That tag is only present if you use StaticPhobia's "Simple Patch" for animations.  You apparently don't have Simple Patch installed, so animations aren't working.

 

Just uninstall StaticPhobia's patch and your animations will work.

Weird, that's installed as well. I have all his mods active, except for the "Funky-fysics" as it gives issues with FG.

Well, my bet is that the MASTER tag stuff is being overwritten by some other XML, so AAF can't find any animations that have it.

I have no idea of who could do it. MO2 says that the only mod that have conflicts with Violate is StaticPhobia's patch, which is at the bottom of the list. After that I only have other mods that have nothing to do with AAF.

No, no.  I understand that StaticPhobia's patch is overwriting Violate's scripts.  But the MASTER tag stuff in StaticPhobia's script patch requires Simple Patch to work.  If

some animation patch is overwriting Simple Patch, your animations won't work.

I get it, but it doesn't makes much difference. Phobia's patch is the last animation pack, and there's nothing else after it except for the NSFW sounds.

OK.  Well, you see the errors in the Admin log.  In both cases (FF and F/Dogmeat) Violate is calling for animations with the MASTER tag and without the SPANKING and other tags.  But AAF isn't able to find any animations that match this, so it returns an error.  I am out of suggestions.

(Technical modding question) I would like to react to things happening in this mod. In particular, I am interested in getting notified if an NPC surrenders. Is there (or could you add?) a custom event another mod could listen to in case an NPC surrenders? Code wise I would like to do something like this:

getting CTD when I try to rob a NPC after they surrender. Can someone help please? Was there other people having this problem before?

I'm not aware of anyone ever reporting this before.  The robbery stuff is pretty basic.  Most likely the problem is with the NPC or something in their inventory.
