hey I have a question I have ZaZ Animation Pack+ CBBE HDT V.8.0+SEREV3 since January 2020 installed, is this version the same or better ?  should I replace mine with this one?

I'm looking in Vortex, which identifies 4047 conflicting files, which leads me to believe that 8.0 is redundant. I'm starting a new playthrough anyway, so I'll test it out and reply here if we don't get a more informed answer. (Disclaimer, I don't know the answer either, hence I'm testing it out for myself.)

Yo, installed this along with the helper mod. 

I have no idea how to get non sex lab animations to play through the tester/editor. 

 

Everything else works fine. The option just disappears to 'play animation' choosing anything other than sexlab, I also seem to have a very limited amount of sexlab animations to chose from. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Is there a Zaz user tutorial for noobs? It's easy enough to install -- but how do you actually _use_ it? I looked at the links to the Syrim LE mod on the intro page, and I don't see any intro text there either. 

 

I have it installed because it's a soft requirement of other mods I have installed. Is Zaz simply a resource mod used by other mods, or is it something I directly use as a user?

as far as i know, it's a framework really. you don't actually use the mod per say, other mods use it in various ways.

@YojimboRatchet has the right of it. ZAP is a framework (like SexLab) that is meant to be used by mod authors to augment their mods. This way, everyone doesn't have to build all the furniture themselves.

 

That being said, there is a mod that will place ZAP furniture in the game for you if you are interested. You can do the same thing with the console but that is a bit more difficult. Anyway, here's that mod:

The latest Wrye Bash WIPs get errors on trying to install the 8.0+ CBBE version of this mod. The 7.0 version installs fine. I have not tested 8.0 (non plus) or UNP builds.

Thanks for porting to SSE with such care. FYI the UUNP-HDT version has some crazy HDT stretching errors -- everything stretches to infinity, don't know whether it's relying on an outdated version of HDT or not. However, the UNP version works with UUNP normal bodyslide perfectly in-game.

Hello, tell me why cane marks from whip is not visible in SE?

I'm noticing an issue with gags on argonians, khajiit, and their vampire counterparts.

When NOT a vampire, argonian mouths open up enough to fit the log-bit (everything's fine), but khajiit mouths are only opened up half as much as needed (chin inside the log)

When they are a vampire, both argonian and khajiit mouths open up twice as wide, which makes the khajiit mouth fit correctly but then the vampire-argonian mouth is too wide.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but does anyone have an issue where jumping or being hit/staggered (basically, changing animation at all) cancels whatever restraint the PC was in? For example, when my dragonborn's hands are tied behind her back, she reverts back to her normal idle animation after running, jumping, or being staggered. The ropes are still around her wrists but she isn't visibly restrained in any way.

The download is called "ZAZ 7.0SE-Rev1.7z". The Mega links are under headings that say "ZAP 8" and "ZAP 8+", and in front of each link is a thing that says "CBBE" or "UNP".

 

So the questions for you are (1) do you want "7.0" or "8" or "8+", and in the case of the latter two (2) do you use CBBE or UNP?

if i am also using older mods which required version 7, so i need 7 as well as 8 installed, or would 8/8+ be sufficient on its own without version 7 ?

ZAP 8+ has everything in it that ZAP 8 has and more. ZAP 8 has everything in it that ZAP 7 has and more. You will NOT get an issue from something NOT being in 8 or 8+ that was in 7. Now, there are a few older mods that do not play nicely with ZAP 8/8+ (this is found on the mod page of Home Sweet Home by Musje but was put together by T.ara who worked on all the mods listed):

 

This mod will work with all optional mods listed above, but some of those mods will not work together!

-TUFP + ZEP is OK 

-ZAP 7 + TUFP + ZEP is OK (most common combination)

-ZAP 8(+) is OK for gamers who don´t play mods that need ZEP (zaz extension pack)

-ZAP8(+) + TUFP is NOT WORKING, combining these is not necessary and causes serious issues (ZAP8+ has everythong from TUFP and them some)

-ZAP8(+) + ZEP is NOT WORKING

-ZAP 8 (+) + ZEP + TUFP is NOT WORKING

 

So, unless your issue is with a listed mod, the chance that you need to shift to an older version of ZAP is nil.

For animations it keeps putting my PC as female and all the other NCP as male even though they are not. In sexlab I have gender set as male. I even restarted ZAZ in mcm hoping it works with sexlab gender preference. In other mods it has force gender. Is there a way to change the gender. No animation plays it just standing there because it is blocked.
