Interesting, I played for the longest time with hoods, blindfolds, gloves and straitjackets all disabled in the items manager, and never saw them spawn randomly with the mods I was using.

You create the zaps in Outfit Studio, but yes they will only actually hide things in BodySlide previews or in the game itself.

 

I was saying if you make a combined outfit which includes both the straitjacket (which needs arms hidden) and the boots (which need feet hidden), then create a body zap with that outfit which hides both the arms and the feet of the base body included in that outfit project.

Hi guys!

I started to play around with the mod, and I have noticed something strange. If I have multiple copies of the same restraint, but with different colors, I can equip both of them at the same time. There is no dialogue window popping up for the second equipped item. This is regardless of whether the item has been locked, or the lock has been manipulated. I haven't tested this with all of the items, only the latex restrictive gloves/collar/boots. Is this how it should work, or is something really wrong with my mod install?

It's prevent equip other outfit with different color but left equipped item on that outfit. On you is equipped only first armor (if you exit to inventory you see that color not change). But FO4 shows both equipped.

I dont know what mod did it but check my recent thread I made

I have a ton of random work benches and don't know how to remove them

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could assist me with some issues I have been having.

I have a reoccurring issue seemingly with Straightjackets and Restrictive boots where the body textures clip through at either the arms or legs for the corresponding part, to where the body can be seen sticking out, seemingly in the default position.

 

I have made multiple attempts to correct this issue using Bodyslide, where I masked the area that was clipping through, used the invert tool and either shrunk the offending parts to nothing, leaving it to float inside the body mesh, or remove it using the slider "Delete Vertices" option. (My first attempt involved shrinking as I still was not used to Bodyslide tools. I found the delete option when I reinstalled the mod's files.) 

 

Despite this, the ingame model does not change upon saving the changes and launching the game, with the arms or legs still sticking out of the clothing mesh. It should be noted that various other items, such as armbinders and the wrist shackles work perfectly fine. (Yokes may also be an issue, although I havent come across many to test out). In the meantime, I have a possible theory as to why, although without a solution. When I tried the shrinking method, it seems I was sloppy and left a segment of the wrist in it's original place, thus there was a microscale circle of body mesh floating in correspondence to where the wrist was, whilst the main issue was still occurring. This has led me to believe that it may be a separate body mesh applying itself on those items, although it does not appear under the "Meshes" tab in bodyslide. If this wasn't the case, I'd suppose my issue is related to a bad installation or misuse of Bodyslide, and if this is glaringly obvious to whoever is reading, I'd ask you point that out so I can make a correction.

The typical solution to this problem is to create a hidden "zap slider" in Outfit studio. Basically select the body mesh, mask the parts of the body you want kept (that is, the parts which should not be zapped/hidden), create a new zap slider from that, set the defaults to zapped and hidden so they don't need to be fiddled or clutter your BodySlide interface. Note that Outfit Studio's interface will not actually hide the zapped body parts, but BodySlide's preview window and the game will. After you save and overwrite the project in Outfit Studio you'll want to rebuild the outfit in BodySlide so your changes take effect.

 

There are lots of Outfit Studio tutorials out there which will do a better job of walking you through body zaps, this is just a summary.

You sure you edit a correct model? In DD is 3 models: Black, Red, White. If you edit Red or White it's useless because those models left from skyrim and not use in game. In game uses only black model. Color changes by change material. But still on black model. Also you sure you run bodyslide correct? You must need run from FO4 data folder if you use Vortex. If use MO you need in MO apply changes into folder replacement and also check tutorials of MO - how to run bodyslide correctly because i don't know how.

Urgh. Providing a medium for cheap mother fuckers like this, but i will get banned instead for swearing now, thats okay i dont mind. Will never stand down from speaking the truth. 

I got the impression it was on mega due to the file size (nearly 400MB).

You're missing the scripts!

Reinstall DD then make sure it installed correctly. (open the Devious Devices 2.0.7z and compare to the installed files)

Then rebuild the outfits.

I'm having issues as well: all the devices are invisible. No matter how many times I reinstall and build in the bodyslides, the devices are never visible. I have all the requirements and strictly followed the author's guidelines. Any idea?

Okay, question. Trying to create a mod that unequippes DD items and then reequips them after sex.

Why is AAF trying to remove the DDs when undressing befor an animation? They are still in the inventory but not visible after the animation. Can I do something about it?

Yea, I can see the items in pipboy and I can equip and unequip; however, when equipped, the devices aren't visible on my character. I made sure the script files—and all other files for that matter—match with the .rar provided from the author. It may be that some scripts from other mods aren't compatible? But isn't this mod just another outfit mod but with a slight twist?
