The occupational field I was in early in life had death rates of men to women at 100 to 1. Married = having someone nag you about having a persistent cough (i.e. women care for their husbands and make them go to the doctor more often). College educated = Likely (in the US) to afford better health care and have better health outcomes. Also can afford to eat healthy. Thanks to the US Farm Aid Bill, corporate subsidies for corn production keeps the US flooded with cheap corn syrup (sugar), making high caloric (and really good tasting) food cheaper than healthier options. It is a very sad day that the chicken alfredo I prepared yesterday for dinner is 10 times more healthy than getting it at an "affordable" restaurant. Edited August 5, 2022 by steelpanther24 3

Psalam Posted August 5, 2022 Posted August 5, 2022 Let me take this opportunity to remind everyone that 1) political speech is not allowed on LL and 2) discussion of COVID (the pandemic, government responses, vaccination, etc.) are considered political speech here.

Grey Cloud Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 Well it was good while it lasted. Well it was good until kick-off. United 2-0 down at half-time, manage to to pull 1 back in the second half (albeit an O.G.), so the first game ends in a 2-1 defeat at home to Brighton & Hove Albion. We looked really good in pre-season, playing fast, zippy football like United should play. This first game of the season and it is as if the pre-season never happened - reverted to the same clueless style we have played for several seasons under three different managers.

Guest Posted August 8, 2022 Posted August 8, 2022 (edited) > I think that Wicked Whims is most often mod mentioned on LL. Every day you can read "WW isn't working" and it is about dozen of times a day. I don't think the mod is bad, on contrary, it is very good mod (I used it when played S4) and if it would be bad, people wouldn't download in millions and cry out for help. So, the sentence: " Wicked Whims isn't working" should be registered in LL annals or at least be put on OP as banner. ? Edited August 8, 2022 by Evaloves4
Kendo 2 Posted August 8, 2022 Posted August 8, 2022 endgameaddiction's LL account was closed and he's not the one who did it. Weird huh?
