Stage 20 should enable the exits. However, if you already had set it to stage 30 and then went back to 20, I'm not sure that would work. You could try 'resetquest tir_twr_escape01' for that, but no guarantee. If all else fails, justs 'coc' out of there, I won't hold it against you.

 

The special requests are specific to each guest because they each have their own personality and... appetites. It's part of the reason why I'm not a big fan of randomness in such mods. The long term goal was to introduce them to the player at the party and then perhaps give them recurring appearances later on. Of course, right now I'm stuck to fixing what's already there. Big expansion plans will have to wait a bit.

 

Fus Ro Doh sometimes does have the problem that the talk animations don't quite fit the length of the text, but I can't change that. You just have to deal with it or click through once you read the subtitle.

 

As for the last part: Do you really want me to tell you and spoil it? ;)

 

OK, umm...any hints as to the locations?  I saw nothing that felt like a secret door, or a secret door trigger.

 

And YAY for NON-random NPC interaction.

 

And also yay about that last part...if I'm right. :D

I like the locked off room. Finally, a rack the player can be put on! Can't wait to see what you have planned for it. :)

Went I was doing the slave quest my game CDT about 10 times but I was able to get the quest done. I had the same problem went I had the device mods running I check the load order with boss and it looked fine I have no idea why the mods are causing problem another thing I get is it take a long time to load went going to other parts of the map I got a clean install

2. I'm not sure anyone noticed with all the sexual tension going around, but I'm actually trying to give each character in the mod a unique personality. The Mistress, for example, is intelligent and distinguished. Somewhere between British aristocrat and naughty librarian. She doesn't have a hands on approach and doesn't command so much through force than through sheer will. Her speech in convoluted, with a rich vocabulary. And she never uses contractions. She doesn't say "doesn't", she says "does not".

The purple guard on the other hand is much more jovial. She's the one to use words like "Yeah" and "ain't" and has a friendly, almost cheery approach to her life as rubber slave. The red slave at the party is "just doing her job", there not really any joy in it for her. And so on, and so on.

I'm not sure if all that effort I put into character design is wasted because people are just happily fapping along, but it's what I tried. ;)

 

3. Not really. At first, I only had the purple guard mention the humming because I thought it would make her more unique. Then, of course, I kept thinking. "Hey, this is something you could pick up later on". And I still might. But it's not definitive yet. Maybe the mind altering influence isn't from the lighting but already built into the suit? That could offer an additional explanation why the Mistress has you working a bit before releasing you. But I haven't made up my mind on that. For now, it's left vague on purpose so feel free to imagine whatever strikes your fancy.

 

 

I like the locked off room. Finally, a rack the player can be put on! Can't wait to see what you have planned for it. :)

I'm sorry about the CTDs but I have absolutely no idea if it's caused by my mod (could be, for all I know) or how to fix it. It seems to work for everyone else though, so I might be specific to your system/setup.

Bug... maybe...

 

 

After catching the escaped slave, she is trapped in blindfold, gag and everything else.

Yet she runs home to the boat, not even stopping when I fire the vibrator spell at her, just sliding along moaning.

I don't know if this is what is meant to happen, but with a blindfolded slave, how can she run home. How can she see where she's going, or feel safe enough to run home to the tower in all her bondage gear.

Like I said, I don't know if its meant to be like this. But I was expecting to have to bring her home, protecting her from everything.

The whip doesn't hurt her when she's running home as well...

Request... Have her follow you, and her energy bar deplete as this would make it more interesting.

Also, her bondage items on her feet are not slowing her down to a walk.

How about adding some breadcrumbs of discarded items on the roads, maybe pointing the direction to search.

Such as discarded bondage items, and rubbersuit items. Obviously unenchanted, as she got out of her bondage stuff...

Items just lying on certain areas of the main roads, showing her route. As well as telling you that you are on the right path...

That's just Heavily Modded Skyrim Syndrome. There are tools for stabilizing your system - check into them. :)

Personally, I think there are plenty of breadcrumbs. The Mistress gives you a big clue, and I found it very fun to deduct the rest by doing some footwork. I only stumbled because I didn't know there were two possible final locations, because I always kind of slide by that town. 

 

Also, it's good not to have the footgear slow her down to a walk. That would be really aggravating. Skyrim needs buyable carts!

As for the first part: It is intended.

 

 

I considered having her follow you but then you'd have to keep watching if she actually did and there wouldn't be much fun in it. Basically, what the mod is trying to tell you (from a story point of view) is that she doesn't know the way. You just keep whipping her in the right direction. She then blindly runs a few yards before she gets confused and slows down again.

 

The perfect solution would have been that you can actually control her direction with the whip but I that was beyond my skill. It might also produce a number of new bugs. Instead I made so that she cannot run in the wrong direction. You still need to keep driving her towards the destination, however.

 

The plug effect is controlled by the DD framework and out of my control. It worked fine whenever I did it on her, though.

 

 

 

 

Second part:

 

 

The quest is kind of supposed to be a bit difficult. You're not supposed to just "blindly" follow a path of physical breadcrumbs. You're supposed to listen to the hints given by the Mistress and then deduce where the slave might have run to.

 

You're basically supposed to play a bit Sherlock Holmes. ;)

 

I'm not sure I want to change that, to be perfectly honest with you.

Yes, you're supposed to "think like a slave", but this doesn't mean that every slave would come to the exact same conclusions. It's basically a "I am thinking that she's thinking that I am thinking game" and you can end up developing very different strategies using the same starting paradigms. My own approach was "Ok, I need to get rid of the belt, and while going to Solitude might be too obvious, I have a little head-start on the enforcers, so going -around- Solitude is safe." Which means my bet was Markarth. Despite I used almost the same logic as you when you wrote the quest, I'd never have guessed the correct city.

But is that a problem? If you go to Markarth and ask the blacksmith there, she'll tell you that she hasn't seen her. At that point you should realise that maybe you were wrong and try the next logical location. That should be Dawnstar.

 

It's difficult to put yourself in the head of a potential player, so I'm not sure about it. But I did want to have one quest that doesn't spoon-feed you everything and you just "go through the motions". So there are several ways to complete the quest. Even if you never come up with the idea that she may be in Dawnstar, you can still find her by whittling down every single blacksmith in Skyrim. It will take longer, of course, but you will get it done eventually.

With that said, I am a little bit disappointed/annoyed that at the end of the quest-chain, you're essentially stuck. From a lore perspective, I can appreciate that- however from the perspective of someone who simply wants to try out various different things and isn't always playing the content of one particular mod... It's just less practical. Perhaps something could be done with the nexus mod menu to allow some more lenience here.

 

What do you mean with stuck? I added the option to escape from the basement specifically to prevent that from happening. You can leave the Tower (not wearing Rubber) and play whatever else you want. The Tower will wait for you.

 

The only problem with version 0.04 is that this escape is only available if you didn't let the escaped slave go. But that will be fixed in the next release. Meanwhile, 'setstage tir_twr_escape01 20' in the console should enable the escape route.

 

If there's something else that has you stuck, it might be a bug, so tell me if that's the case.

Going in reverse:

 

I didn't, for once, have trouble with CTDs.

 

Dammit, now have to go back to the tower, THANKS jfraser!

 

3. Oh...the things that are going through my mind.  But, I have to assume that there's some kind of mind control...since my character does shout dragons out of the sky, then go nose to arrowhead with them just to practice archery or smashing their heads in with a warhammer, this doesn't seem like the sort to say she's a dirty rubberslut just to ask if she can lick their boots...for almost any reason.

It really didn't feel like much sexual tension, there was plenty of, what I'd call sensuality, but it wasn't ridiculously over the top.  You kinda knew you weren't going to get boffed by the Mistress, and you sure as hell knew you weren't going to boff her, you kinda got the feeling there was a chance with some of the others...if you could convince a certain someone to remove the suit.  But I did like the personalities, the Chef was a favorite on the rubber slave side, I will have to...speak with Purple Guard though...I have a few words for her about not letting me out of the basement...just three words, actually.

 

1. Found it, was apparently a PEBKAC problem (Problem Exists Between Keyboard and Chair...that is, I screwed up somewhere in there).

 

Oh...and I let the escapee go and lied...I should have received two punishments for that...maybe roasting first and then, well, dealing with the inevitable dehydration... ;-)

The only way around getting her to follow you is.

 

A. make a leash spell that you cast on her to get her to follow you.

 

or

 

B. Remove the blindfold

 

I just think its odd that she knows the way home better than me, she even found a shortcut I didn't know about...

 

 

 

 

 

The breadcrumb trail of items wouldn't be very much, just a few items that would be odd to find laying around on the road. Like her rubber suit, that isn't enchanted, just laying at the side of the road...

 

Hunters and detectives look for clues...

 

It wouldn't make it easier, but just tell you that you are on the right path.

 

 

 

Whatever the decision, I am still enjoying the quest...

Not necessarily saying it's a problem. I actually loved that quest (I started computer gaming with adventure games, so of course I'd love it!). But yes, I guess it's the same problem every writer of adventure games has - you want to make challenging puzzles that require thinking, but no two persons think alike, so the challenging puzzle can quickly become so hard that the player gets stuck. One person's obvious choice is the other person's last thing they'd ever have done. Not sure how to address that. The point I really got stuck wasn't even guessing the city (as you said, the brute force questioning of blacksmiths does in the end work), but that I never thought of the slave taking a job in the mine. I was like "ok, she can't get the belt off right now, so the next logical thing she needs to do is keeping ahead of the enforcers and keep -moving-." I checked inns and ships in the area for that reason, but really not the mine. Because the thing I'd have done is trying to make money while still being able to get farther away from the Mistress. Like...hiring out as a sailor.

I ended up looking in the wrong direction and was stuck. Had to check in the CK where the NPC spawned. A little quest is fine but for my taste it's a bit to in the open. Skyrim is gigantic and i think the majority of the players doesn't know the money earning aspect of the location so that clue is already useless. Multiple (false) markers with a bit of ask around dialogue is much more all-player-friendly imho.

Couple of thoughts:

1. Maybe place boat at the city's shore or nearby? It's a bit too far travel, I'd say. After all, it would be quite logical for enforcer to grab slave and load her up on the boat directly in the city's bay.

2. About converting. Maybe wearing suit develops rubber addiction in addition to submissiveness and masochism? So, being denied the rubber - PC can go into withdrawal, craving the rubber and thus having some negative effects! :)

I like that...eventually, punishing the player would consist of them being sent out to into the world without rubber on.

 

Or she could release you...knowing that eventually you'll come back again for a vacation from freedom...you'll even beg to be allowed to be trapped again...

I found a bug. Forgive me if someone else has already posted this, but I've got some requests/suggestions too, so I thought I might as well post everything now.

 

Bug 1: The quest where you have to wait for the party does not have text associated with it for some reason, in my journal:

Bug 2: While I was taking the tour of the basement, Mistress walked past me and the purple guard and back out into the tower. When I enter the party room, she's nowhere to be found and I can't continue the quest. Right now I'm stuck in the party room... can I just teleport mistress to my location, or might that break something?

 

RFE 1: Eating and drinking could be disallowed while wearing a mask?

RFE 2: The fireplace in the tower is a bit wonky, perhaps it should be moved down a few units...

RFE 3: A very petty suggestion, but the navmesh in the tower could be improved... for example when you first arrive and the slave runs to get the master, she runs straight, then stops, makes a 90-degree turn, then runs to the stairs. It's just a little visually jarring is all.

RFE 4: Lowered frequency of text notifications... or rather, just elimination of repetitive ones. For example, I keep getting "you are getting hot in the catsuit" notification three or four times in a row before another one plays. More variety of text notifications perhaps? I guess I should have written a few...

RFE 5: Tenbror doesn't have the money on him when I kill him! I wanted that 60k gold! (okay not really an RFE, just an observation)

RFE 6: When I head out to find the escaped slave, the yellow guard said that the slave took the boat to the mainland, but the boat is still there at the dock on the island.

RFE 7: Is it possible somehow to make the messages about temperature (i.e. you are getting hot in the catsuit, or like a sauna, etc) be dependent on the region or weather?  Actually, it makes sense as it is, now I come to think about it... the suit is magical in nature, and self-repairing, so it's probably thermally sealed too.

RFE 8: Instead of "Slave Speed is now #" you could give notifications like "Parina is walking slowly," "Parina seems tired," "You slap Parina into motion," "The escaped slave is encouraged to run," etc.?

RFE 9: Any possibility of an MCM option (toggle or sliding scale) for submissive tendencies / rubber desire? i.e. "You wonder if you will ever get out of this rubber" would become "You hope the wonderful rubber is never taken away from you" if the option for "I like being a rubber slave" is checked on...?

Finding the escaped slave was difficult for me... not because it was too long, or there weren't enough clues, but when the mistress said "think like an escaped slave" I immediately thought "Why have I escaped? I love being a slave! I want to go back to Mistress!"

Uploaded version 0.05. Another bugfix release. Changelog:

 

 

 

    - when you let the escaped slave go, she'll tell you about the secret passage which you can use later to escape
    - hopefully fixed possible dead lock when you ask mistress to release you again after you have been busted for escaping
    - fixed a problem where all devious ballet boots appeared as black
    - punishment scene 04 (bondage gear) now correctly equips the plugs as decribed
    - when you get punished for being late and go to the basement, the guard should now let you out again with special gag dialog
    - black catsuit and gasmask use zad_BlockGeneric to prevent removal from mods like Devious Loot etc.
      (as a test, this currently only affects the black variant. let me know if it works or causes other problems.)
    - reduced number of waitress jobs at party (only two between special events)
    - lowered guest satisfaction threshold to accomodate for change above (65)

 

 

I'm especially interested to know if the black catsuit still gets stripped by Deviously Cursed Loot. I hope not, because otherwise I'm out of ideas. ;)

I found a bug. Forgive me if someone else has already posted this, but I've got some requests/suggestions too, so I thought I might as well post everything now.

 

Bug 1: The quest where you have to wait for the party does not have text associated with it for some reason, in my journal:

Bug 2: While I was taking the tour of the basement, Mistress walked past me and the purple guard and back out into the tower. When I enter the party room, she's nowhere to be found and I can't continue the quest. Right now I'm stuck in the party room... can I just teleport mistress to my location, or might that break something?

 

RFE 1: Eating and drinking could be disallowed while wearing a mask?

RFE 2: The fireplace in the tower is a bit wonky, perhaps it should be moved down a few units...

RFE 3: A very petty suggestion, but the navmesh in the tower could be improved... for example when you first arrive and the slave runs to get the master, she runs straight, then stops, makes a 90-degree turn, then runs to the stairs. It's just a little visually jarring is all.

RFE 4: Lowered frequency of text notifications... or rather, just elimination of repetitive ones. For example, I keep getting "you are getting hot in the catsuit" notification three or four times in a row before another one plays. More variety of text notifications perhaps? I guess I should have written a few...

RFE 5: Tenbror doesn't have the money on him when I kill him! I wanted that 60k gold! (okay not really an RFE, just an observation)

RFE 6: When I head out to find the escaped slave, the yellow guard said that the slave took the boat to the mainland, but the boat is still there at the dock on the island.

Your report comes too late for version 0.05 but I'll fix it in 0.06. Unless I forget it again or something. ;)

 

As for your RFEs:

 

1: I already explained that somewhere in the thread. Basically, it would kill people who have realistic needs mods installed.

2: Done.

3: That is not a navmesh problem, it is to fix a navmesh problem. Because when I first made the mod, the servant was unable to find the stairs. She always tried to walk into the wall. I adjusted the navmesh at least 10 times, but she wouldn't find her way. So I placed in Xmarker in front of the stairs and let her run there first. Then she can find her way up the stairs. Was the only thing that worked.

4: You are welcome to make message suggestions. They need to be 42 characters or less though. The frequency can be adjusted (see the FAQ). You may have to re-equip the rubber gear for it to take effect.

5: I admit that's a plausibility issue. However, I don't really want to reward the player for killing him. This quest is basically the first time where you are forced to decide between your morals (greed or helping out a poor guy, depending on your character) and the morals of your Mistress (which is the first step of submitting to her). So the Either-Or character is intended and will not be changed. I'd rather add some form of explanation why he doesn't have the gold with him.

6: The boat is always there, even when you take it to the mainland and then return via Fast Travel or teleportation. Because I don't want people to loose it and then complain about it to me. ;)

You may assume that in the meantine, another rubber enforcer came home with it, if it helps.

8: These are just debug messages that are in the while the mod is in beta phase. Eventually, they will be removed. Same goes for the message barrage during the party, for example.

9: Theoretically possible but it would require making at least one set of messages for the sub tendency and another one for the dom. And probably something for in-between, to give the impression of a gradual development. And it's difficult enough to come up with enough messages under 42 characters as it is. You yourself complained about the lack of diversity just now. ;)

Small idea (future quest?) Add a gag variant of the mask (open mouth variant due to no food blocking). As you can't see it it would be as easy as setting the ZAZ/DD keyword on it.

 

For the eating/drinking part, add a little dialogue in the intro messagepopup that these are specially adapted for long term use to allow small chopped pieces of food into the 'nozzle' and drinking via a straw is possible.

Yeah, that's an idea. Or, because the space in the message box is limited, I make a dialog with the Mistress about it. Like "How am I supposed to eat and drink?" - "Oh, don't act like a baby, just do this and that"...

Cursed Loot doesn't technically strip any item at all, except that it does call the SexLab routine which will cause a character to undress herself (I I tested that and your code seems to be able to catch that just nicely). What Cursed Loot does is -equipping- DD items on you, some of which will use the same slot as the catsuit, namely the Custom/Locked Slave Harness. I tested that part too, and the slave harnesses -do- visually unequip your catsuit, even with the newest version. The custom slave harnesses are technically armour, occupying the same slot 32 other armours do (including the catsuit). So when these harnesses are equipped, they will become visible and not the catsuit. This is -not- a problem specific to Cursed Loot - you can equip a Custom Slave Harness from your inventory and it will still overwrite the catsuit.

 

Tbh, that is the exact reason why I recommended making your catsuit a DD device above. DD devices do recognize each other - but your catsuit right now does live outside the DD universe and will get mercilessly overwritten by some DD items.

 

The keyword that will prevent the Custom Slave Harness from being equipped is zad_DeviousHarness - you can try assigning that to your catsuit, but don't ask me what will happen if you assign that keyword to an item that's otherwise not a DD item. Unforeseen stuff could happen. Which is probably why converting your items to use the DD framework might be the way to go after all. Your decision, of course. :)
