But yes, your suggestions are quite exactly what i'd hope for, but rather additionally than instead of my own.  One reason why i'd hope for a Sasha with a better memory than my own is not only more depth for her character but also a kind of "remember my preferences" without adding another page in the MCM.

That seems like an interesting mini-mod. The generic chastity devices don't have much value in DCL; either you're in a special belt, or it's mostly useless...

 

But how does it differ from disabling belts in DCL Devices menu?

 

I read the answer to this... Device Comments put belts on you, even if you disabled belts elsewhere.

Perhaps Bondage Dialog can too... But...

Isn't this a "feature" in DCL that could be fixed? Couldn't the Comments and Dialogs respect the "no belts" option?

This is what I mean by complex options. The number of places you have to disable belts and things that can lead to belts is a bit confusing.

 

I strongly suspect the other scenarios that MrEsturk called out as leading to belts can already disable the belt.

 

 

I could see an argument for this being an option in DD itself, as it wouldn't impact mods with special belts, like Devious Regulations.

 

 

But, if you use SL Adventures and disable DCL rapes (or most of them), then belts really stop sex, like you'd expect.

You can set Misogyny to 100% blow-jobs, and everything works like that.

In such circumstances, sometimes you can be thankful for the belt.

 

I've been using the Windrunner mod for my latest play, and she comes with a belt right from the start.

I can see that she needs a belt, as she prefers to wear a collar too - and that's a dangerous thing to wear with SL Adventures and apropos set up a certain way.

The annoyance with her is the mods that want to remove her own special belt, and do so, when they probably should not.

IIRC that is an AS-LAL start mod and the belt and stuff were not tagger quest or nostrip.  i think it was done that way so that the player could store them,

and they would cause some difficulties (live more vulnerabilities to help balance bonuses).

it really is a cool mod to play with, and i think you could probably fix it, for personal use, by just editing the items keywords.

You can craft all the items, so even if they're stolen, you're always Windrunner. She makes the gear, the gear doesn't make her

I guess tagging the belt wasn't a thing when the mod was made, but now it's an option ... though it uses a regular key so you could argue that losing it is all part of the fun.

I think chastity would matter more if you are playing a succubus where you benefit from sexual acts, with its absence being detrimental to you. I could imagine Vigilants of Stendarr locking up Roses of Sanguine if we're considering a theme.

 

On an issue of Damsel in Distress, I am not sure if the previously equipped devices were supposed to be removed beforehand. My PC had iron shackles thanks to a CCAS alternate start, then handcuffed thanks to an innkeeper in Rorikstead (not sure if DCL or DEC) when a slaver put my PC in the Damsel in Distress scenario. It says I need to free the hands from an armbinder but my PC is securely locked with handcuffs, which is impossible at that point to even lockpick.

The mentioned quest will break, if there are locked devices on your toon. Not always, but almost.

If the Device is a standard one: cuffs, armbinder, corset, gag, blindfold, bra and belt it rarely will remove or better simply overwrite the existing ones. But a hood, chains or even devices provided by other mods simply break the quest. Happened many many times, because usually I like to play this quest. But having a belt of misogny... reload... having slavery devices... reload... having parts of a chainharness... reload... Last reload I had was because of wearing simple shackles. The time I struggeld the toon free, I was not able to open the shackles. All those reloads did NOT happen in v6.4 nor 6.3 if thats important. Last two runs of my damsel in distress, were just a struggle for keys.... 2.5%... are you serious? btw: 20 Body restraint keys left after opening the last lock. The favor key thing is not working really well... pointing to the relase notes... but maybe just bad luck on my side.

I think I got it working for the most part. When I go to the shop in Dawnstar, the people there have no hair and the clothes are invisible so they're basically floating bald heads. Anyone know what mod I need to get to correct this? I may have just missed one of them

Hi, I asked this on the SE version but I was directed to ask again here. I am having an issue in the Going Shopping quest, after buying everything, it tells me to go back to Leah but there is no prompt that lets me deliver the items. Is that a known bug? Is there a fix? Normally I would just advance quest stage but I can't find a quest id for it.

I've never had the shopping quest work correctly. I've completed the shopping many times but never been able to finish it.

 

I mentioned here, that using the DCL "FREE ME!!!" that should terminate all DCL quests, does not terminate it, and instead restarts it.

As there was no response, I thought it was just me.

I'm trying to get some help on this mod and I'm on the verge of giving up.

 

The dollmaker shop characters are bald, floating heads.  I cant start any of the quests. None of the dialog works for the characters added. All of the males want sex(no audio for this though) and they just walk away and they don't actually do anything but you also cant use their shops for anything(that part may be intentional, I dont know)

 

My gut feeling is that somewhere there is a set of files in Folder A but they need to be in Folder B for everything to work. I may have to run Bodyslide but I can't even get it to work properly.  There is a missing link here and I just dont have the modding experience to figure it out.

 

Any help is appreciated

Yes you have to run Bodyslide.  If you want Sex then you also have to have the Sexlab Framework installed and functioning AND you have to go into it and tell it to "Install" once you've installed it.  The Sexlab Framework of course also requires other items like you running the FNIS User Generator program in order to install the animations but of course so does this mod and the three other Devious Devices mods that are also required.

 

What is wrong with your system is that you're trying to see the content before you met the requirements.  Kind of hard to tell what else you might be missing but try starting with just getting the Sexlab Framework functioning.

Bodyslide has a forum on the Nexus, and many tutorial videos on the net, but DCL is often the first time people run into problems with it.

 

They install BS, select CBBE body and their game looks better, they think they have Bodyslide working.

 

Then they install DD + DCL and they see entire bodies disappearing and don't know why.

 

Eventually, they hear they have to run Bodyslide, but when they open it up, it doesn't seem to solve their problems.

Oddly, they imagine their problem is uncommon, and don't expect to find a ton of tutorials online, and don't even look.

 

 

It might not be such a crazy idea to create optional download files for DD and DCL that have all the meshes pre-generated for default settings CBBE and UUNP Special.

 

 

It does add some more busywork, but a lot of new users would download those files and have their stuff just work, and because they don't ever run Bodyslide, their bodies are at default anyway, so it's all fine for them.

 

Seriously, think of all the times people have posted a question on here, where the answer was run Bodyslide...

Those posts might never have happened.

3rd thing is how to deactivate chastity bra over an hobbled skirt or straight jacket ?

 

and its always armbinder chastity bra corset hobble dress blindfold etc... nearly the same items in different colors

1 -  Misogyny feature (forgot exactly where it is in MCM at) turn off (or set slider to 0)

 

2 - randoms items and consistent themes should give you matching set, but only for a single event.  so if you have items added by 1 event they should match 

     if possible,  but if you get items in 2 events they are unlikely to match (that is the random part).

How are the D.A.M.N surprise boxes supposed to work? I got 3 when I robbed a bound girl, but no matter what I do (left-click, right-click, check powers/...), I can't find any way to open them, they simply get "equipped"

They should "pop open" when you "equip" them, and give you the loot.

quick answer :that is mysognity option, demand sex

and you can ony choose one color+material, if you choose random but constet or what it was called, you'll get for every trap all items in one random colour.. that means you get again another random coloour for all items in next trap... if you dont like it like this, have to choose colour.

turd thing is in devios devices - devices underneath (1) and (2). have to work with it... exampole :(1) Body - full > hide niple piercings, chastity bra... A robe(or whatever clothing) will hide these devices
or (2) harness / corset > chastity bra... harness and corset will hide chastity bra.
now just to find out what happy dress and jacket count as and make it hide what you want.

i believe i have all working and i have nothing set in devices underneath (2), so you should find it under (1)

Equipping them and leaving the inventory menu is supposed to "open" them - they should disappear and you will get a bunch of loot added to your inventory.

still dont get it with underneath:  example  if modify HEAD and add 4 possible items , so these 4 items wont be shown if the slot 31 head is placed ?

looking for a little help with the rubber suits, I am unable to find them in the Bodyslide Studio, I can find the zipsuit and catsuit, but not the rubber suits, so my character looks like a standard NPC. Any idea which item controls the shape for them?

So who are valid NPCs that can be sold to the slave trader in Whiterun & how do I give them to him? Obviously Defeat's capture/sell function doesn't work with this & there's no description of him in the mod page or MCM
