Hey Zaflis, thank you for the suggestion, but I'm afraid it's not the case. 1-I tried those mods before->Same problem. Then I went to super minimalist mod list to make debugging easier. 2-CrashFixes and LoadGameCTD are mostly to solve race conditions and such random issues, which is fine but not the case here. I'm having 100% consistent crash in the same quest, in the same stage, tested dozens of times. 3- Having both Racemenu and NiOverride was indeed an oversight, I excluded NiOverride and tried again -> Unfortunately same problem I set SKSE up the way I always did. Having played countless hours with previous DD and DCL version, I never had a problem. The problem started after I updated to the new version. So I deleted the whole game folder and installed everything from scratch, to no avail. Taking a wild guess, I would say something is missing from zaz animation pack (or whatever took its place nowadays) and it's not included in DD LE 5.0, nor in the list of required mods.
Chips221 Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 Sorry if this has been said before, but can we get an MCM option to disable the DCL arrest dialogue completely? Not just the prison, but the arrest dialogue as well. I love this mod a lot and it's been apart of every playthrough I've started for literally years now, but I'm seriously considering just disabling the mod or going back to a older version because of this. Not being able to just pay off your bounty removes a lot of the point of taking certain perks/being a part of the thieves guild, or even having gold on you to begin with. You don't seem to be able to use thane reputation either? Even if you could use those things not being able to just pay your bounty is really annoying. Edit: In the meantime, anyone looking to disable this part out of the mod until a toggle is added can do so using SSEEdit and ReSaver. Just delete any references to the guard arrest dialogue in SSEEdit and clean up your save with ReSaver. They're all named dcur_prison_arrest something-or-other. I honestly can't say which global or dialogue tree being deleted disabled the DCL dialogue so just back up your files and rip parts out of it until it works. DISCLAIMER: I am not a modder and this may or may not fuck up your save.

Good guess, i actually have ZAP 8+ installed and issue like that was reported in DD dev thread a few days back: https://www.loverslab.com/topic/69936-devious-devices-framework-developmentbeta/page/162/?tab=comments#comment-3335147 You don't need to download his patch if you have ZAP, it concerns HDT behavior. I have no idea if lack of those ZAP files could actually cause crashing though.

If not those files it cause hdt crash because it can't load a physics when enter in area where are npc with chains on (like Whip and Chains inn) PS. sorry about errors...

What skin or textures mod are you using? I had some mystery CTD before because I was using an 8k skin, Skyrim was running out of memory or something when too many female NPCs loaded. I didn't try this inn yet but probably there are lots of naked female NPC? Just to test try disabiling any skin texture mod and see if it can load.
ric1984 Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 downloaded the Skyrim build.The build had the aedl_DeviousLoot mod. After installing the game, I installed the original Deviously Cursed Loot mod. There were some tricky things, but I started to notice that they were all ebony. It turned out that this mod intercepted Deviously Cursed Loot. Disabled the mod in the build and after that still does not work Deviously Cursed Loot. I really want to enjoy the game. Please help me?

I don't have any mod that is not strictly listed as mandatory by DCL and its dependencies, precisely to make it easy to debug. Now that you mentioned, I'm really curious about what is inside that inn. It would be a good clue to know why my game doesn't work.

The DD core should be in order: DDA, DDI, DDX, DDC. You load integration before assets and contrptions before expansion. Also you are missing Alternate Starts mod which is almost mandatory at least for new games. You are also using high res textures and DD For Him which are all things i haven't tested. The textures may stress your PC more than mine.

Near the end, likely the end of the quest chain. I started Bound Queen by finding something in a treasure chest. This "Melanie" was never a part of the quest chain as far as I've seen. Also I checked Riverwood's Sleeping Giant Inn. No Melanie.

The bound queen must be started from this inn by Melanie. And also end. DCL can be considered a "game overhaul" in that aspect. You can't install it over an existing playthrough, even one that didn't contain any DCL before, and expect to have 0 problems

About the loading order, you're right. Since DD 5.0 is all-in-one mod now, never crossed my mind that now I have to manually set it right because the installer does it the wrong. Alternate Start is only mandatory if you also install its respective plugin from DCL Those high res textures comes with the game and are pretty vanilla to be honest (my PC isn't that bad) DD for Him is DCL default option and you get a very scary warning if you disable it Anyway I'll try every suggestion possible since I'm completely out of ideas. Meanwhile would you be so kind to send me your load order? (Skyrim LE I hope?) I don't care if I have to download each mod you use, I just want it to work. Thank you again.

(Skyrim LE I hope?) Alternate Start is not used because of the plugin, i have it disabled atm too because i've played it several times. LAL is used because you get a better place to sort out the MCM options when starting the game. You want to set all those things in a quiet cell before actually entering world where those changes will then apply. My PC isn't too weak either but not the latest. CPU is i5 3 GHz quadcore, 16 GB DDR4 and GTX 1060 with 6GB VRAM. Anything you can do to reduce VRAM may help you get past that barrier of crash. I also install DD\DCL with 1k textures, not 2k that is default. Difference isn't really noticeable unless you zoom in really close and squint... Check that you don't have red warning icons telling missing masters. Also see the notifications button at top right, it should always be kept empty. The error sounds so bad you might even be mixing LE and SSE mods, probably wrong DLL files. Check your FNIS generation log too for warnings.
