I believe in this instance it was put in by Bethesda, if you read the note or journal or whatever it is found there it was supposed to be two lovers running off together, he arrived first and was killed then she arrives and is also killed.  Depending on your level when you get there the animal will change.  I've seen a bear there and a sabercat at different levels of different playthroughs.

Wow, July posting was the last one.  Seems people just kind of don't really bother with this much, anyhow, I will ask this here anyways.

 

With a certain MAD person (okay, not mad as in angry or insane, actually very good at what he does) doing updates almost daily, he does love his work and I do too, probably not alone there.  Creatures now have genders and I'm seeing them in Skyrim, mares, stallions in stables, dragons, heck half of the time they're female, though I'm thinking the frosts are male and the fire are female, but, usually don't have time to "look".  One of the things about this diversity is this mod, "Aroused Creatures", they're aroused but... they don't go after creatures, only NPCs.  Is there a patch for them to see arousal on creatures?  Because with the additions of animations of "animal on animal", it'd be "natural" to run into a wolf doing a wolf in the forest (I mean that *is* how life happens), plus maybe the stallion will pay more attention to the mare than the stable hands, the nearby farmers, the female Stormcloak Courier who was upwind...

Not actually tried this myself yet. Please note that I won't be able to provide support for AC if it's been patched. Any issues will need to be taken to the support thread for the patch.

I looked at it, but the actual esp has a modified date in the year 2000, which is confusing, though any plans to possibly adapt these changes to the current mod, as it would really help promote the animators to continue adding more creature on creature animations if this mod allowed creatures to go after each other.

Aroused Creatures didn't exist before 2014 so that's not going to be an indicator of compatibility. My advice would be to try the patch out in a COC game and see what it does before committing to it in an existing save.

 

All development is now on the Special Edition branch of Aroused Creatures. While creature-on-creature is not currently on the feature list for the current beta I will be looking at it for a possible future release.

The save I'm trying it on is already partially mangled as I'm debugging Play as a Dragon to solve issues with it, the two biggest ones I'm tackling are the attack radius after being a dragon not going back to normal and the jumping returning to normal, got the camera woes fixed along with all the CTD issues, works with FNIS around, untested on sex animations because the activation on the dragon is in the middle of the body, so you can't talk to anyone to initiate them anyways.

"turn on creatures in Sex Lab" has nothing to do with enabling SLAC. Ticking the box in SLF is easily and commonly overlooked or forgotten.

Any chance this mod will allow creature group animations (i.e. the pursuit of multiple creatures instead of only one or additional creatures joining in when a scene starts).

 

Or anybody knows a trick or a patch that does this?

Remerber this mod uses arousal as a reason to start creature animation.

 That sayed reducing the arousal to 10 or lower means creatures arousal at or below are eligible will be chosen for a scene also reducing the cool down to zero means that as soon as one scene ends another scan for creatures will start.

 Encreasing the scan timer will make sure that scan for eligible creatures beginning almost as so as they stop.

Group support is available in the Special Edition version of Aroused Creatures now.

 

All future development will be in the SE branch. It's possible there may be a backport at some point after the next release but there are SE-only SL functions being leveraged now that may make this less viable.

did i not tell you to tell you to turn creatures on? that is very fucking different than making sure that the fucking mod is active.

The mod makes creatures interfere with running Sexlab Scenes form other mods (in this case Naked Dungeons defeat scenes).

 

Is there a way to prevent this from happening? It already ignores not beeing naked sometimes, but interfering with Sexlab Scenes really breaks everything (the PC is constantly switchting from one actor to the other, hehehe.)

 

I really love this mod, but this interruption is really problematic :(
The defeat mods calm creatures and then during sex, ofc, the actor is naked. so one thing comes to the other :(

I am not treated as naked by SL Aroused :(

 

This is really annoying because it makes the mod kind of unusable ...

First I need to make it clear to everyone that development on the LE branch has halted meaning that there will be no first-party updates or patches for the LE Beta. In future there may be a backport of the SE release of Final v4 but there is no timeline on that and no guarantee.

 

I'm adding some additional broad compatibility options to the next update for Aroused Creatures SE that may help with Naked Dungeons and similar mods that do not have explicit indications for actors they are handling (unique factions, keywords, etc). This includes a combat cooldown period and vanilla calm spell filtering to stop AC from picking up actors in combat-related SL scenes.

 

The issue with actors being added to two SL threads at once (thus switching or jumping between two animations) is a bug in SL itself. Actors are not supposed to be able to be added to a second thread but the asynchronous nature of SL triggering means that there will be circumstances when SL checks if the actor is in a thread one tick before they are then added to one. Better performance may reduce the chances of this happening (I can't remember if I've even seen this in SE), but it is unlikely to be eliminated entirely.

 

The naked options in the LE Beta may be bugged due to relying too much on the reported naked detection from SL Aroused. The SE branch now does its own keyword tests for equipped armour.

My man, go to your SL aroused/redux tab in the MCM. Go to "Current armor," You see what you are currently wearing? Put a check-mark there to set it as "true." This means the arousal mod will artificially make you naked while leaving the armor on.

Love this mod, but I wish the "crouch invite" setting could include a stealth mechanic. Random ass beast just shows up; that had zero line of sight. Anyone know how to edit that shit?

The crouch feature just reduces the arousal threshold for nearby creatures for automated engagements (or blocks them entirely), there is no active component in it so not really anything to fix. The direct invite key is probably a better choice.

 

The Require LoS option is off by default as it's very buggy when called via script. When enabled creatures that shouldn't be able to see you can and those that definitely should be able to can't. Given this issue it's better to leave it off just so there is some certainty in why engagements are happening.

The mod seem to have died on me. It's still active but nothing ever happens now. Creatures don't react to invite or rape when arousal is over 60.

My guess is that a script might have crashed or sopped halfway or something, but there is no option to purge and restart the mod in MCM.
 

Is there any way to fix this (console command for example)?

Check the SexLab settings and see if Allow Creature Animations is disabled (perhaps in a reset operation).

 

Make sure SexLab itself is still working with creatures using another mod such as MatchMaker.

 

If there are still issues then enable Papyrus logging for your game, enable the Dubug option in AC MCM -> General Settings, try to invite a friendly creature, then post the last log here.

 

When you decide to make the move Aroused Creatures SE comes with more features to assist in diagnosing and fixing issues with both AC and SexLab.

This did not work. I was told it is fixed in the SE version or sth. 
I have yet to try this again with Osmel Patch for the mod, too. But with the version I had back then none of the tricks including yours worked.
