I seem to be having the same issue this guy was having the wolves just follow my PC around with high arousal ratings yet I can't get them to engage and the invite animation doesn't play... I've tried cleaning the system a couple of times but still the same. Is there a specific version of the mod I need or some SE crossover somewhere that stops the creatures engaging?

If you are using the Special Edition version then check the AC MCM Help page which will list possible issues and reasons for recent engagement failures (hover over the actor name to see an explanation). If that does not help then post in the SE version support thread. If you are using the LE version then make sure creature animation is enabled in SexLab MCM > Animation settings.

I'm definitely running the Old-rim version. In the following order : SexLab Aroused Creatures v04.0 Beta 05 SexLab Aroused Creatures (Tweak) SLATE_Creature Patch(2020_04_21) More Nasty Critters Any of these unnecessary or been updated to only work for SE? I've got the creatures enabled tried rebuilding/cleaning using the SL mod but it dosen't change the not interested messages.

But yes, the LE version has been left behind. Simple reason is that I barely have time to maintain one version let alone two. There was a tentative plan to do a back-port of the SE version when it hit the full release of v4 but I wasn't looking forward to that and thankfully OsmelMC stepped up to handle it. To be brutally honest, the party has moved on: LE is now second class, and deservedly so. The increased stability of SE makes it much easier to mod and to develop for - when getting CTDs during testing in SE I know for sure it's a result of something I've done while in LE it was always a toss up between a problem in the mod or just Skyrim being Skyrim. SE is regularly on sale and is worth every cent.

Superdaolbuster Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 Quick question, you mention that the mod is for non-hostiles, but what if I want non-consensual relations with a hostile dragon or werewolf for example? I saw that you mentioned mods like submit,defeat and such, but I had some issues with those in the past, so I was wondering is there was an option in the MCM or if is it something that Osmel deals with. Thank you

Thank you Defeat really is the only option right now. Aroused Creatures in its current form is intended to compliment Defeat. The reason that AC does not support sex during combat is that it's a very complex situation and there are a lot of things that need to be accounted for in handling actor behaviour in a reasonable way and not breaking the game. Just take a look at all the option in Defeat for handling how and when sex should be initiated and how to handle the situation afterwards. There is little point in doing all that again when Defeat is already doing it. I do not honestly believe that I could do it any better or that adding a combat sex feature would do anything other than introduce terrible compatibility issues. The support thread for Defeat SE is quite active so I would recommend asking there about any specific issues with it. Keep in mind that you can use One With Nature to avoid entering combat with creatures under normal circumstances That way they are available for Aroused Creatures to handle.

Once you are engaged in combat you could just surrender to the creature and then they should, depending on the settings, have fun with your PC. If you have Defeat running.

This is not the way out is to disable animations.For these creatures, there will still be a survey and they will be involved in the mod and then they will just stand motionless with the animations disabled ,which is also distracting and takes time. Suppose there are a lot of chickens ,cows ,goats and there is one dog and a horse-a common picture in Skyrim .Who will the mod choose ? The answer is obvious - the hero will always be fucked (without animation) by chickens, cows and goats. In any case, thank you for your help and participation.

Actors standing idle during an SL animation usually indicates issues with the animation registry, which might also explain why creatures with no animations are being engaged. You will likely need to use SexLab MCM > Rebuild & Clean > Clean system. Just be aware that this will reset the SexLab config completely so you will need re-enable creatures etc.
