Except that the actual shot has not got any ice or snow in it. ? (It's the thought that counts). Now, now, almanacs away. No correlating the visible constellations with the date and time.

I am guessing from your description that it was a cave not quest locked but often ignored unless on the main Dawnguard quest. What isn't helping me is the fact I was going to do a play-through of that quest but got distracted testing other things, so I've forgotten somewhat which were even featured in that quest. I have gone into Ancestor glade at other times thinking to get a screen shot or just loot the place but there's a gate in the way so you cannot get in unless on the quest. Same for Dimhollow and ... that place near Dragon's Bridge where the vampires take the priest: rockslide covers the entrance.

While you can get to this cave without starting the Dawnguard quest it IS part of the Dawnguard DLC.

At least, I haven't found a Dawnguard Radiant quest here but I haven't done ALL of them because I'm generally not a big Dawnguard fan. I just do it to cut down on the total number of vampire attacks I get in World Encounters.

Mossy Glen Cave first encounter in there is indeed a Skeever, I just remember about a dozen bears.

I could have done the picture with one or more of the dead bears but this was the best lit portion of the cave..

I first thought Bronze Water downhill from Nightgate because that's what the weather looks like when I'm there more often than Mara's Eye.
