Potions are for wimps. I laugh in the face of potions.

That belongs in the "famous last words" section along with "whoops."

Gallows Rock.

Quite right and quite appropriate for someone who has eschewed potions. :wine:

And this one?

Trees are vanilla but Fort Sungard it is. I'm not surprised YOU got it but I half expected you to tell me where my PC was to take this picture. :wine:

In any event how about a serious distance shot? If you don't see the "ruin" at first it is slightly off center.

That's what I meant with "difficult angle" :classic_wink:

Just assuming you've climbed some rocks, not sure if there is a vanilla name to that location.

But if I guess right, this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/79131 places an inn right on your right hand and blow on road level.

Lovely inn, by the way.

Damn! I was sure that one would be harder!

All right. Here's another old wreck (from another old wreck).

Don't make it so hard on yourself. You know I'm (mostly) a vanilla Skyrim kind of guy. The shot is from Bilegulch Mine with the table, that is beside the blacksmith forge, directly behind me. She did risk her life for that Fellglow Keep shot but here she just had to kill a few mangy orcs (I understand that vets have a cream for the mange now).

Stupid me.I've been on the wrong track. Same distance but 90deg on the compass off :classic_blush:

Unless I miss my guess that it the middle of Bloated Man's Grotto. I am usually in there twice. Once to collect Bolar's Oathblade (to be found at the foot of the shrine in your picture and then again for the Saviour's Hide (which I think is what you're doing now since I can't see the Oathblade).

The other way to tell the when of that where is the sky color. I would have guessed the blade missing because you were under the hunter's moon but it must have been the right time of evening.

I have Granite Hill there instead but it does have an inn.  I have Gavrostead right next to it so I'm really crossroads-town'ed out there. A random spawn mod puts a point there too which really doesn't work.

not sure where you are standing but that looks like Nightcaller Temple visible in the pic.

Very well done. ;) It's been up longer than I though it would. Funny that. When I used to Dungeon Master for Dungeons & Dragons it was like this a lot. An encounter that you thought was easy would wind up killing the players and the difficult, exciting finish I had planned wouldn't last an entire round.

Let's see if I can find anything in my screenshots that I haven't used before I retire for the evening. Something a little different for a nightcap.

Same cell. You start at the position of my screenshot. Go ahead into the light, turn right and take 4 to 5 steps. Now, you turn a little to the left and look a bit upwards. That's when you have the view, the angle and the aspect of your screenshot

Right as usual King Friday (Mr. Rogers Neighborhood). :wine:

Back to the future. Another "ruin," but which one?

I should have stood back a bit more. Only a little room. That's the R-H and the back walls. L-H wall is just off camera and the door is just behind me.

Clue

Looks like someone just kicked the bucket.

Riften Orphanage. I don't want to know what Grelod the Kind was doing to them.

Correct.

(I'm still examining pubes but it looks like they do match).

Fort Amol, possibly from the fallen log bridge by Hillgrund's tomb.

I was in here recently, so it isn't an outdoors long shot (though at least that would mitigate my green mods...)

It is Fort Amol. It was actually taken on a path along the east side of the Throat of the World (until this game I didn't even know there was a path there). I took some other shots but all of them would have been unnamed so I opted for this one.

Unless I am mistaken that is Fallowstone Cave which would mean Cyborgy is risking hir (sic) life on the ledge to the left shortly after you enter the cave. The ENB does change it some but mostly that is a GREAT angle. Cheers to you!

Ah yeah it was not that long ago I found the trail that leads along the side of the mountain and ends near above the Stormcloak camp across from the Ritual stone. It is somewhat convenient to the player house added above the camp as well. I might never have found it if I wasn't looking for a mod added location.

I was actually on the way out instead of in but I was on the ledge up against the wall. Cyborgy was supposed to be a dwemer using Breton Mage type but beyond some dwarven bikini armor it never really worked. There was also a play on cyborg and orgy.

sorta looks like a certain spot in bleak falls, but I reckon that'd be too easy and I dunt remember the tree stump.

I was thinking deep in that troll cave down the waterfall from Valtheim... the one with a pool outside, a wrecked wooden platform of sorts and 3? bodies laying in the grass. Using a jumping mod I got to the top of the waterfall in that picture, but it just comes out of a small fake cave.
