phil01991 Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 found a bug. fnis pops up with this error ">>Warning: \character\behaviors\FNIS_EstrusChaurus_Behavior.hkx not Skyrim SE compatible<<". character loses all animations and just kinda floats with arms outstretched. I managed to fix the bug last night but I don't remember how I did it. will try to replicate it today and post the fix . here is a screenshot of the error with list of mods installed.

phil01991 Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 I hope someday to be better at this. Thank you for your hard work pfiffy. I was thinking about attempting a SLUTS conversion to se and porting it. I know someone picked it up and is working on updates. do you think it is possible? or does more work need to be done to get the program running properly. I don't own oldrim so I got no idea on the state of the mod. he forum makes it look alright though.

She was playing the sound's but mod said 0 infected. I chose to prepare for uninstall, and then it said my follower was cured, and now it is stuck on uninstall ticked. I tried doing a clean save but still stuck on uninstall.
Reesewow Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 I believe this may have been reported earlier, but there appears to be an issue with EC+'s detection of XPMSE's latest versions which breaks the pregnancy functionality. I have XPMSE 4.31 installed with minimal extras, meaning I only use it for the skeleton files and not the weapon scaling or alternate animations. However, EC+ does not pick up XPMSE as installed, and the MCM menu has disabled pregnancy incorrectly. Interestingly enough the addon mod Estrus Spider doesn't appear to be having any issues with this version of XPMSE. Edit - seems the issue is that the version check looks at the scripts included in the "character creation" options of XPMSE which are not installed if those extra options are not selected. Manually copying XPMSELib.pex and XPMSEMCM.pex into my scripts folder from the XPMSE 4.31 installer files unlocked EC+'s MCM menu. Not sure how many people will have this problem, but if it keeps showing up it may be worth delinking the XPMSE version check so that it failing doesn't block a user activating pregnancy, and instead it could be information-only.

I don't know if the skeleton files changed much and that's all I currently use the mod for - the latest versions do seem to be better organized in the installer now.
Headerman Posted July 5, 2018 Posted July 5, 2018 Hi guys, got an issue with Estrus in particular, when i estrus anyone or myself (with any estrus type), the initial gooey/tentacle thing appears on the targets back, the voice animation starts, the target doesnt move but there are no actual animations beyond the target just standing there normally. I have ran FNIS (its a new install with fnis core, spells and creatures also installed) and installed all requirements for estrus to run. I also tried EC+ but it does the same thing. I have tried older versions of Estrus but no change. Anyone got any ideas?

Mdy Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Thanks for the answer @Bane Master. I've been using the Estrus Spider addon and uninstalled it one or two months ago. I think I've rerolled to the point before impregnation, but I guess not to the point it wasn't installed yet.

Using last version of EC+ btw. The usual Skyrim logs? They are helpful sometimes indeed. You have to enable the logs first in the skyrim.ini, just google it and you'll find it easily. Btw, thanks for giving me the idea to test a new save. I'll try starting a new game and spawn a chaurus tomorrow.

crudo Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 Just had a bizarre series of events surrounding EC+, no worries, not complaining as the mod worked as it should but it's such an odd story I had to share. Rayya and I were down in Blackreach when we were attacked by chaurus and Falmers. She got infected/impregnated. We made our escape and while we were exploring further Rayya got too close to a giant and we lost the fight. I have DA set for a 50% chance to kill my followers. Rayya died. I revived right at the scene of the fight and DA spawned some Wandering Brigands. They took out the Giant but a Steam Centurion took them out just afterwards when they started looking for me. After the dust settled I scooped up Rayya and dragged her body to the surface for a proper burial. Couldn't leave her in Blackreach. I made camp at a river bank and layed Rayya's body next to some rocks. Then I noticed something odd, she was still growing the chaurus within, her belly was getting larger. I decided to wait by her body to the next day. Rayya's body lifted slightly off the ground, shook a bit and then started birthing eggs. After a few more convulsions her body dropped to the ground by the eggs and then she stood up. She greeted me as Thane and started to walk away. I ran up to her, tried to speak and she replied and rejoined the team. That evening the courier stopped by with an inheritance letter and a few coins in regards to Rayya's passing. Of course she was standing right there wondering what was going on. Or maybe she is some weird zombie Rayya animated by a chaurus infection. Anyway, the short of it, there is a chance an NPC can be resurrected if she is infected with chaurus eggs. Just don't leave her side until after the birth.

Incy Wincy Rayya, got shafted up the spout Out came nasty hordes, and wiped poor Rayya out Down came the Thane, and watched the eggs hatch out And Incy Wincy Rayya, joined the gang again There is nothing as weird as Skyrim.....

Just don't leave her side until after the birth. Just a follow up. I'm leaning to the conclusion that she was some kind of chaurus infected zombie Rayya. Turns out she could not heal. I gave her potions and she did not use them. I don't have a heal other spell so I could not save her. She met her fate fittingly in Shimmermist Cave by a pair of chaurus. Dumb way to go, searching for a set of basic iron armor for the carriage guard. To make matters worse she didn't even go down swinging. The fight was over but she was overcome by poison. Poor Rayya.
Saeloth Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 For some reason it started to work. I'll try to break it now. Maybe i will figure it out what's exactly breaking it. For now i have my suspicions on Sexlab Dialogues, Apropos, MME, "false" animations registration during first launch when Sexlab already active > it says that Estrus registered animations and Sexlab really showing them but for making EC work you need to manually reset animations register in Sexlab and reregister EC animations manually. I'll write here about results of my investigations.
