Hazelwolf Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Honestly the fact that the Dragonborn gets ass-raped to death by Molag Bal to become a Vampire Lord (aka pure-blooded vampire, who can only become so that way) and that is the reason they wake up in Molag Bal's temple after a convenient blackscreen didn't occur to me until I decided to start fucking with the Nexus crowds, but as I started thinking it it became downright uncomfrortable. Heh. I'm never lightly entering into Vampire Lord status for just that perk tree again, I'm gonna deeply consider it next time. Emphasis on the word deep. But lol, yeah, it does rather put things into perspective if you keep going off and getting yourself cured then going back to Harkon or Serana over and over again. "You know it really stops counting as rape if you keep coming back for more." Makes me wonder if anyone has attempted to mod something like that in. If that is the genuine lore you'd think there would be animators here all over that.

The voice clipping is not only the most impressive but certainly seems to be the most challenging aspect of doing a mod like this. Not only that, but, the advantage Fox has had is in simply making something he enjoys. Anyone coming in as a secondary writer not only has to impress him but everybody else. It's certainly something that I imagine would need a little feedback from the fanbase. Which male characters they think have the potential to be interesting lovers. (Bearing in mind that most of the unique voiced ones are probably off the cards. Dammit Brynjolf ) I don't know which voices are unique. That said, the male Companions aside: Ralof and Hadvar are both obvious choices. Both men are single, both have reasons to feel connected to the Dragonborn, and both have a role in the story that gets underplayed. Enthir in the College of Winterhold could offer an interesting sleezy romance. Drevis Neloren in the College of Winterhold could be an interesting trickster romantic partner. Jorn in the Bard's College is big, tough, and a musician. If you've ever wanted to date a Swedish Black Metal artist, he's your guy.

Even if i sadly only discovered it so late, almost having done everything in skyrim (and not really in a mood to restart, sorry serana xD)I do however have a question, there are two lovers that are buggy for me, Namely Elisif at the quest Threading The Needle / Finest Materials , wich for some reason just won't start....Do i need to have Both jordis and lydia as a follower or? And then Njada with Njada's Dark Secrets Wich for some reason won't work properly when i need to punch her out to win her respect, the fight starts but it never ends, she just resets wich is annoying.So any help or tips concerning these will be very much appreciated! And i hope you keep expanding on this mod, there's plenty of women still waiting for some dragonborn lovin' xD

Ralof is already covered by the mod as is, although it'd be interesting to see if it could be expanded somehow through the rest of the Civil War quest-line. Currently you just get invited to partake in their odd little Nordic family 'Hospitality' custom. When in Skyrim, eh? Hadvar is trickier because I think he has a unique voice. It wouldn't necessarily be impossible to craft new material for him but it would have a far more limited amount of voice clips to work from. Same issue with Brynjolf from the Thieves' Guild and Nazeem from the Dark Brotherhood: two guys that would be ideal if they didn't have unique voices. On the Nexus page I suggested perhaps Galmor Stone-Fist and Legate Rikke would work for the Stormcloak/ Empire sides of the civil war. Flirting with either of the one whose side you choose combined with successful battles could result in them becoming your lover either just before or after you win the war. Other males might be: Marcurio, the mage follower in Riften. Ogmund from the College of Winterhold, Vorstag the merc from Markarth, Teldryn Saro the Dunmer spellsword from Solstheim and Eric the Slayer from Rorickstead. These guys all have generic voicetypes and have suitably distinct personalities that a courtship quest could be written for them. For instance Eric the Slayer's could depend on you teaching him how to be a real adventurer... by teaching him what it means to be a real man... or some such corny bullshit I do like the idea of picking someone from the Bard's college. It seems an ideal location for some seduction.

Had a lot on my mind about getting other Skyrim stuff to work. This just peaked my interest when I found it (for the first time). I find it helps just to ask specifics rather than pour through tons of description. Which I really should do. Here that is, not on the Nexus. Most mod authors are pretty pissy over there. (Understandable, as I purposely had them ban my old account after putting my mod on hidden, still constantly messaged x_x) So, Riverwood->Gerdur, then Camilla, Whiterun Companions->pick up Janessa, Windhelm*, Anekke and Sylgja -> Shor's Stone, Riften*, start Dawnguard, move to Solitude*, Dawnguard again->Serana, Azura's Shrine->Aranea, Morthal*, Mirabelle! it pissed me off when she died, I wonder if this changes that. *I really should go back and read the description

(or make a MCM option to remove) I use mod organizer + the Amorous Adventures Sexlab Version.. accepting to have sex with lover at first time.. fade to black --> start dialogues --> sexlab scene start and dialogues disappear is normal? bye! Screw you Vaermina XD But yeah, he would be an interesting choice. He has unique voiceclips at certain locations and has that whole redemption thing going on. Could even call the quest "Man of my Dreams" or something The benefit of many of these quests is they could be run in parallel or as a result of completing the vanilla quests. Which might be a bit lazy but if it gives the people the male love interests they want then fine.

Which might be a bit lazy but if it gives the people the male love interests they want then fine. Or maybe a twist on one of the first quests at Riverwood-why settle for wooing Camilla when you could get Sven, Faendal, and Orgnar vying for your attentions and sending false letters about each other instead?

Well I laughed at the suggestion for multiple dialogue options and progression paths. Just take a few years of work and double it then squirt out personalized versions for all next month. What's so hard about that? If Mass effect and Dragon age can do it, why not a lone gunman modder? This is most of what I hear on the nexus, can't imagine what it sounds like to you.

As someone who made such a suggestion I figure I'd better explain myself. I meant different options more in the sense of flavour for the player character. Different dialogue choices for the player but the same reaction from the NPC. Yeah it's the illusion of choice but at least it allows the player to "stay in character" depending on where they are on the renegade/paragon dichotomy. eg. DB: "Tonight, my lady I'll take you to Aetherius and back." / "Now you're really going to see what happens when the Dragonborn comes." <female character>: "How can I argue with that?" Same with the option to decline particular sexual advances made by NPCs. It may not necessarily mean doubling the work that's been done. Just a couple of key lines and some tweaking of dialogue boxes and the majority of the people put off by being "forced" to do stuff their character wouldn't will probably be satisfied (big maybe, I know! Like Nexus users are ever satisfied XD) But, then again, what do I know? I'm possibly underestimating just how much work goes into crafting each interaction. I appreciate Fox is a one-man band on this and it is a huge undertaking to do what he has done and what he plans to do, so he can take any of my suggestions with as much of a grain of salt as he pleases. They may very well be more trouble than they're worth or just not fit with what he wants to do or what most other users of this mod would appreciate. I've left a few of my mental turds burning on fox's porch for him to take a pooper scooper to. The previous post can be pointed at those, like myself, who are concerned for what fox's mod future iterations will look like. The post was partly frustration and my round about way of stating that I'm going to be sparing fox from any more of my bright ideas and just wait to see where the chip fall. I mean in the way people used to deal with the Adoring Fan type of hate. I haven't played it, I just looked into the files, and man that's some Twilight-level bullshit there. The writing in there is like done by 13 year old mormon girl who sat down too hard one day and accidentally rubbed her clit while looking at a picture of her dad. What turned me off from it is simply how I fucking hate Bishop from Neverwinter Nights 2, I mean I loved Neeshka and Casavir and those, especially the mad dwarf and the Romance Mod specifically includes those characters or alliterations of them and twists them around only to make Bishop look better. Killing him in final fight against the Shadow King was some of the best parts of NWN2. Well best part before Mask of the Betrayer, I fell in love with that angel girl so hard and she doesn't actually flirt with you at all and isn't the love interest, I burned the entire Realms and ate gods and betrayed everything that could be betrayed only so that I could do what that poor angel girl wanted, and then in the end I ate her as well and became the ultimate monster while crying on the inside. Brilliant, brilliant game that, best writing since Planescape Torment, and perfect primer for Torment Tides of Numera. "What little life there is in the world is draining out this hole in my body.
