I have to say i absolutely love this mod! Even if i sadly only discovered it so late, almost having done everything in skyrim (and not really in a mood to restart, sorry serana xD)

 

I do however have a question, there are two lovers that are buggy for me, Namely Elisif at the quest Threading The Needle / Finest Materials , wich for some reason just won't start....Do i need to have Both jordis and lydia as a follower or? And then Njada with Njada's Dark Secrets Wich for some reason won't work properly when i need to punch her out to win her respect, the fight starts but it never ends, she just resets wich is annoying.

 

So any help or tips concerning these will be very much appreciated! And i hope you keep expanding on this mod, there's plenty of women still waiting for some dragonborn lovin' xD

For Njada see the quest documentation. It will tell you how to set stage to get past the Brawl.

 

For Elisif you must be Thane in Solitude, all the needed characters must be alive, Lydia must be a housecarl. Again, see the quest docs - front page. Thanks!

it's possible remove fade to black in sexlab version? (or make a MCM option to remove)

I use mod organizer + the Amorous Adventures Sexlab Version.. accepting to have sex with lover at first time.. fade to black --> start dialogues --> sexlab scene start and dialogues disappear

 

is normal?

Well I laughed at the suggestion for multiple dialogue options and progression paths. Just take a few years of work and double it then squirt out personalized versions for all next month. What's so hard about that? If Mass effect and Dragon age can do it, why not a lone gunman modder?

The people know not for what they ask. It takes weeks to lay down the voice tracks for a quest, and also, if they don't like my Female romances (and I use that term loosely) they sure as hell won't like my Male ones.

I'm betting all these outcries alerted more than a few people to the mod, who then downloaded to see what the fuzz was about, looking for something offensive, and then coming back to endorse instead. I promise you that. Otherwise AA would not be Nexus File of the Month place 3 at this point in such a strong month.

Sorry for the very late reply, but I'm still having the mouse click issue. It seems as though after every "love making" session my mouse clicks just seem to not register anymore. Looking around still works, just the clicking loses function for some reason. I tried the "3" on the numberpad suggestion bus alas that didn't work. Loading a previous save doesn't work either. The mouse clicks seem to work fine in the menus but not during gameplay for some reason. I'm pretty confused.

There's alot of things that I didn't really consider or even give thought to. Like Irileth's Greet package, for example. I got to remove that. Much of it is pretty simple to fix. Player dialoge is easy to change.

 

Heads are exploding in the thread but there's a silent majority out there that seems to mostly accept the mod for the general comedy relief and a bit of drama here and there.

I never played Neverwinter Nights 2, but looked up small bits on YouTube. Yep, that's what "Romance in Skyrim" is obviously based on.

I think the mod author said so back when I tried it.

The voice actor wasn't bad (River Kanoff), but the personality made me want to gouge the NPCs eyes out with all those keys I collected 

Bishop acts like he's so much more "knowledgeable" than Casavir. But his best line is "lets do it on a bedroll".

So many guys don't understand, shitty pickup lines only make us cringe. Some. The dumb ones still fall for them.

Casavir isn't even an option back when I played it. He should've been! Maybe that's changed, but I just don't care.

I'll be playing Fallout 4 and Skyrim! Fallout's going to have the option to choose gender from what I hear, so I'm going for it \o/

Just.. please, whatever you do, don't make the romance situations with the guys mirror Bishop 

In the meantime, I don't mind laying down the Calyps. I do that already, I'm all about both sides

An additional step(s) to pressing 3 on numpad I take when things run amok is:

 

save(new save) after pressing 3 on numpad

quit desktop from skyrim.

reopen skyrim and load the save.

wait for things to load...keep waiting you know its not ready yet.

press 3 and it should snap you back to defult 3rd person (if thats a thing) and usually I'm good.

 

Though first usually try and can fix it by sitting down and forcing the camera in first person.  Usually have to use console and help chair, placeatme XXXchairYYY in order to sit down.

Don't have it happen too much anymore since I make efforts to avoid outside interactions when a scene is in progress by selecting and using kill and tai in console upon the would be offenders, and not using tfc when animations are underway.

 

Might as well give it a shot next time, it's not like its gonna get broken-er.

Valuable lesson to keep in mind when the Hot Fuzz is on me.

 

Do not ever put those HDT hairstyles on NPCs beyond maybe something like Bijin sized pack of favorites. If you have half of Whiterun with HDT hair going around, you might as well pour soda on your processor.

 

Also with a little less than a week on File of the Month, this is a bad time to post a mod like that, it's going to end up on spot 4 or 3 maybe, there's just not going to be time enough for the hype to build up, when if posted beginning next month it could have easily done #1.

For me when things eff up its the mouse buttons don't work(can't draw weapon(s) out with keyboard either), can't get into FPV from 3rd and the Z-axis on the mouse doesn't change.  Am still able to pan around PC with the mouse and interact with things so long as the happen to get in front of the reticle.  Am also able to use the KB to move around, but it's different. 

 

I think its a mix of 360 walk run plus, kicking in and out SL animations and other interactions that weren't supposed to happen that lead to the funkyness.

I have been flatout stuck in animation before as well, cause shit happens sometimes right, and will try to tai PC when it happens thanks for that.  Though I rarely have that particular error happen.

 

Between #3 and sitting in chairs, I'm almost always able to fix things.  I kinda thought everybody has the same issue jump up from time to time tbh.

Actually I never had this issue, and I have about 1500 hours playing with Sexlab, if not more.

 

However I had the animation lock A LOT with a version of the Flying Mod. I also sometimes get it on certain characters/mod load outs using Death Alternative, I get knocked into bleedout and then I'm locked animation wise when I stand back up again because Lydia punked them. Sometimes it fixed it if I opened the inventory and equipped another weapon (that's kind of an animation and sometimes breaks it). But usually I have to reload to a previous spot, which sometimes means an hour earlier.

No, but if you are willing to go through the pain you can install 5.1, install Sexlab Framework (it's the framework that needs it, not this mod, this mod works fine with 1.59c), save, quit, and downgrade to 4.1 SkyUI.

My reactions to it were as follows.

 

I use the Alternate Start mod so Bishop wasn't the first NPC I ran into. I actually met Casavir in Solitude and the guy has no dialogue lines without Bishop being there as a follower. And yet his AI package made him follow me around, which was disturbing to say the least.

 

After starting a fresh game, going through the sacking of Helgen for the umpteenth-bazillionth time, I met with Bishop. Must say the voice acting was really well done. Pity it was the voice of a douche. While he had some funny lines (which may or may not have been lifted straight from NWN2) I couldn't help but think that this romance was doomed to either Boethiah's Blessing or the Ebony Blade.

 

No offence to anyone who likes the whole dangerous bad boy thing but when you're playing as the Dovahkiin, the baddest ass to walk Tamriel since Tiber Septim himself, it feels a little ridiculous when he swoops in all protective and condescending.

 

I've no doubt it could work for certain players or certain roleplays but really didn't do me any favours (there are far more interesting and appealing followers out there even in the base game.)

 

Not to knock the effort and polish they've given the mod (on the whole) but it basically does play out like Fifty Shades of Grey "mom-porn" only without even the adult-rated stuff. Which is fair enough. There are enough shallow straight-male centred T&A mods out there, so why not one to satisfy the female equivalent who like their lovers to be on the abusive side?

 

Unfortunately it still leaves those of us of different tastes short-changed when it comes to male partners.

 

Thus the obvious answer is "Learn how to mod, then so you can write what you want to see!" Which is easier said than done but, well, might actually be a fun challenge to take on... so long as it doesn't turn into a second unpaid job for the sake of some digital fap material XD

i asked both places thank you. and i already installed SL along w/ my skyui 4.1 and all seems well so far. SL shows that all things are found and correct (except creature anims which i don't have so that's right), and then SL installed correctly and i show all mcm menus. SL mcm doesn't even have skyui listed as a requirement. it has things like "SKSE 173...found", "FNIS 5.+...found" ect, but nothing about skyui.

AA installed problem free too, so if there are problems w/ SL and skyui 4.1...i sure can't see it. of course i've not started any romances yet.

 

speaking of which...i have installed AA mid game . i'm level 12 but not too many quests done. how does AA play installed in an ongoing game? thanks!

Well... It's about 252 degrees more hardcore than what you are going to see here, but this mod does have a romance for a female character (hardcoded to not allow gay characters, even lesbian works badly historically with the mod). Sex Slaves, aka Mia's Lair.

Hit a pretty big issue when doing "Our Love Runs Red" whenever I talked to Valarica it would not tick it off the quest and now I have the elder scroll and it still wants me to talk to her.

Talk to Serana, then Valerica etc then back and forth. Quest ends in the moth cavern, not soul cairn. In these situations, reading the walkthrough helps, that's what it's there for.
