Okay, everybody has to share one real life, not made up, sex story that actually happened to them. In real life.

And it has to be in spoiler tags.

Here I'll go first.

 

 

When I was in 10th grade - 15 years old - my English teacher seduced me. She was 25 years old, fresh out of college and a new teacher at the school. And she was hot. And married!

She just got a face lift from Bijin warmaidens, and wouldn't even have to be a big quest (as you have to do a unique quest to get her as a follower anyways). Also, you might've thought of this already but I hope you make a quest for Delphine. Perhaps along the main questline or starting as soon as you get to the blades temple. I digress, are you working on a quest right now? Spoilers!

The people screaming about how offended they are over work you've done aren't usually the same people demanding you do more. The rare ones that are should probably be viewed as loonies, and avoided. 

 

Trying to listen to people who ask you to do creative work you don't want to do is demotivating as a demotivating thing that is demotivating.

Joking aside I suppose the only advice I might give is just treat it like you would any of your female romances. You key in on those aspects of the character that someone might find attractive.

 

For example if we were to pick Erandur from the Vaermina Daedric quest. He has a haunted past, he's attempting to redeem himself and there's a little bit of the mysterious dark quality to him. He's almost like a male Serana-lite in some ways.

 

So those are your gateways into what the Dragonborn could pass comment on as part of the seduction and what could drive the drama of the romance. Also, because we are seeing aspects of their personality we previously didn't there is the opportunity to play with expectations, to see that character in a new light. So that gives you the ability to freestyle as a creator. Once the courtship has been established you can practically do what you like with them, it's your mod after all

 

In terms of the difference between romancing men and women, I suppose all I can suggest is think about the kind of lines you would want to hear, as a man, from someone you want to be seduced by. Complements, comments about your physical qualities or about your personality or about the choices you make.

 

There should be some variety, of course. Some men are your soft nurturing types, some are your big brash alpha males and some are your awkward emotionally wounded ones... just like with the women.

 

Skyrim seems to be a very gender egalitarian place when it comes to the roles each sex plays so I wouldn't fret too much over gender politics. It's all about the soul of the character. The body is just the temple in which it is contained. And character replacer mods have shown us that the temple can easily be renovated to suit whatever player's tastes

Romance novels aren't necessarily less explicit than porn written for a male audience. There's just a lot more build up to the fantasy, and that build up is more focused on the thoughts of the female character about her setting and situation. The male romantic targets are as shallow and silly as, well, female characters in porn. If you're writing the male romance yourself, you could do worse than finding a Fantasy genre romance novel you can stand and reading through, then trying to build a similar story structure using in game resources. 

Or contact a female modder whose writing skills you admire and shout "Help".

It always cuts to black when doing the quest, and I have installed the sexlab version along with all the mods it says are required. I don't know how to fix  pls help

^This is what I like about this mod. It doesn't do that annoying "silent dialogue" BS other mods are guilty of.

Doesn't matter if you have a mod for NPCs to lip sync, those are still irritating!

 

Some dialogue in Amorous Adventures reminds me of Gamerpoop. Don't get me wrong, that is not an insult!

I love those episodes, and I wish more authors would creatively combine vanilla dialogue to make NPCs say funny stuff for their mods!

I should chime in here! Allow me to explain our mindset in one simple word: Disney. We grew up on that ridiculous assumption there's a knight in shining armor (perfect gentleman) out there waiting for us who's also not too scrawny to defend himself and us. Even if we had to cope with the fact we'd never become a princess   This is why I preferred Casavir over Bishop in "Romance in Skyrim". I even have Kountervibe with Imaginator's Pixar setting to make my game look all bright and colorful like a Disney movie   So to explain: for men, the ideal is someone romantic, bold, the adventuring type. But not arrogantly bragging (read: insecure and pathetic) I don't know how do-able that is with piecing together vanilla dialogue though.

In a game where it's primarily you playing the role of the heroine who needs to get shit done, though, who among the men of Skyrim would fit this "White Knight" archetype?

 

To my mind you have perhaps the male Housecarls (hell, the Housecarls are perfect if you wanted to give them, well, ANY personality you wanted seeing as Bethesda didn't bother at all.)

 

There's Erik the Slayer but he is more your "wet-behind the ears young farm boy who dreams of becoming the brave adventurer" A boy becoming a man rather than a ready-made Knight in shining armor.

 

I suppose if Fox wants to give the ladies what they want it's a good idea to pick something that's bound to be popular first before you start branching out into your broody bad boys and shy intellectuals etc.

Lydia's quest is kind crappy as it is now, too much was reused from when Aroused was active. I mean compared to any other mod it's still better, compared to any other quest in this mod it's shit.

 

Plus you do know this will lead to a much longer quest most likely, with much more dialogue? I want the new version.

I'm probably going to end up getting a ban on Nexus for some of the shit I've said in the thread for this mod, but I really can't stand how smug some of these people are.

 

For the record, I've been playing the quests I can on my character in progress. Lydia was one of the quests that still work after a bunch of the game's been completed. She's my favorite so far because she's the only real submissive. Most of the other women come off as switches or dommes.

I'm not sure what textures they are, but I've found a great tool that will help you run more HD textures. It's a must have for anyone with a weak or average graphics card imo. It's probably just as great for people with high end graphics cards too. It compresses the files without a quality loss so they load faster and look almost, if not completely the same. It'll decrease stuttering, VRAM related CTDs, and fixes black texture bug.

I have a bit of a request if it is at all possible (and if you would be so inclined): Could you add in Sven and/or Faendal as romance options?

It doesn't feel quite right to leave them both high and dry and, more importantly, alienated to the point where they no longer wish to follow the Dragon-born.

I trust that you might come up with something a bit more graceful than the Dragon-born making amends via a whole different kind of mouth magic than the Thu'um.
