Am I the only one to see a pattern emerging? I doubt it. There is a strategy here focused on how to best link AA with 'rape' in people's minds. And that would give the moderators over there the pretense they need to take down the mod. So ... how can we counter that? Or am I just being Nexus paranoid here?

I'm sorry but the mod is not going to be changed to accomodate anyone it would feel better for. And while it may not look good for you from where you are sitting with the mod being set up like this, I have no sympathies at all, because that is exactly one of the reasons why this mod is so great. But... if Serana is all you want look to the front page. Shinji72 is doing a playthrough of Amorous Serana, watch that and you get the whole story and all the dialogue in this mod on the subject, there's no optional dialogue choices or alternate ways to do it so you'd have gotten the same stuff he will. But it's just not the same as playing it. Okay, I didn't purposely come here to show attitude, but you're doing a fantastic job at that. I just offered a suggestion for accommodation. A-c-c-o-m-m-o-d-a-t-e. Say it with me. Two M's. And it was just a suggestion. I have been a member since this was posted? What does that have to do with anything? Kidding) and rating among files section making it easy to find if you are looking, not anything else so you could have found this mod before you ever did Serana's quest, you just happened to look for it now. Yeah I've been playing this game pretty long as well, but did one playthrough seriously take you 3 years or more? And becuase you didn't find it earlier, you want it to be changed so you don't have to replay things, to accomodate you? I'm sorry, while I am aware that girls that are capable of spelling is a rare resource we need to take care of, not everyone can be accomodated, you know what I am saying? Oh and I gave myself that title. Man people's double standard makes me want to vomit for humanity sometimes. LIke I was reading this webcomic thing Dragonborn Cometh that was posted earlier here, and it features a child (Fjotra) getting raped until she liked it in all holes by an adult by what looks to be a 15 incher. And the thing that got the most public reponse from the readers and generated a lot of hate mail was that the readers hated how Lydia enjoyed fucking black guys. Yes interacial porn with "niggers" generated more hate than pedophilic sodomy. Sometimes I want to find some of these fuckers and literally murder them, I am not kidding here. I see stuff like that, shrug and go "lol interwebs, whatev" That whole thing just screams Chan culture to me. The child rape is fine because "Lulz edgy *fapfapfap*" While being overtly racist against black people is likewise seen as offensive and edgy and therefore acceptable practice. I've no doubt there is a sufficient smattering of sick fuckery and legitimate bigotry going on there but the rest is just saying shit to piss people off while, at the same time, feeling like one of the cool kids. it's pretty pathetic really but I wouldn't get too riled up over it. That's kinda what they want most of the time. Kudos to the author for speaking their mind and telling them where to stick it... right before going back to the pretty twisted but still enjoyable bit of wank material because, fuck it! It's just drawn pictures ona screen at the end of the day. I think nearly everything people do on either Nexus, here or beyond will likely be seen as immoral to some (The people who bitch about skimpy armor come to mind) but at the end of the day it's all just fantasy. I mean I'll be serious, here, if you ever harm a child, an adult or an animal or the like in any way that was not entirely accidental, then if I am able to I will fuck your life up, and if I can get away with it myself and the crime was as bad as pedo shit, I will gladly play judge, jury and executioner on your at that point very abused poor self. If I see someone with childporn pictures on their computer, I'm picking up my phone and dialing 9-1-1 even if it's family, ESPECIALLY if it's family. But images in drawings and on a computer screen, that no child was even likely to have even posed as likenesses for? Fuck if I care. Caring for that makes you liable to care for all the people that get killed in a computer game as well, pure idiocy. Basically I view the banning of that as a way to keep from tempting those sick fucks into doing it for real, and for that reason and the, you know Law of it I totally support Lover's Lab ban on loli mods. But seriously as long as you are not actually hurting any one but your own psyche, I couldn't give a shit what you do. But hypocrites like this, racist fuckers slinging out hate words not knowing who's on the other end that they are trying to mess up with, that gets to me every time. Heh. I'm never lightly entering into Vampire Lord status for just that perk tree again, I'm gonna deeply consider it next time.

The first question should never be "Can we?" but "Should we?" Do we really care what a bunch of trolls think on some forum for hosting files that's just been used very reciently, and as a lark as much as anything serious? Then if we decide (or really Fox decides) that yes, we want to do something about this idiocy, then we can figure out which of the skewed rules can we twist to our own advantage, but my vote is let it sail and see if the forum mods and admins care, care enough to slap the trolls, or are trolls themselves and just want an excuse to break their own rules. (IF they haven't taken it down by now, it must not be against the rules, and any retroactive action will just give more evidence to why people hate the Nexus as much as they do.) Just figured that you'd blacked out after Harkon took a lot of your blood. I think I remember werewolves blacking out in a similar manner, and awakening outside Whiterun, where you can run around safely for a while and then when you revert to human, wake up with Aela at the next quest location. (I say think because since I've used werewolf mods, I keep waking up inside Whiterun instead, and soemtimes the "who cares if you're a werewolf" mod doesn't kick in and I have half the town chasing me till I manage to shift back).

It's a whiterun where all NPCs but guards ahve been taken out of it (NOTE mods can mess this up and give NPCs new routines so they are in your way, or place new NPCs with no directive to not be there for that scene) so you can just go berserk, usually the guards will defeat you, but if you get to the Whiterun gate there's blackscreen and you wake up midways between Whiterun and Windhelm to assault the SIlver Hand base with Aela saying they brought you there after the beast took over entirely. Notable difference, there's no lore saying Aela has to assfuck you to death for you to become a proper werewolf, like there's for vampire lords. And there's plenty of lore everywhere both inside and outside of Elder Scrolls of werewolves losing time and wakign up somewhere else, not quite so much for vampires. Just saying.

My feeling is it's trolls, and that giving them anything will make them cry "rape" at something else. The problem is ignoring them will cause the whole thing to cascade into the eventual removal of the mod, because the nexus doesn't like rocking the political boat, most likely due to Robin being British and their laws about depictions of rape being so strict. I wish I could see a silver lining here. This mod doesn't deserve this treatment. Also, I saw a few days ago what was done with Ysolda. It was awkward originally. Blackmail's fine with me, it just seemed out of character for the player in its original form. The re-write is much more organic-feeling. Thoughts on Lydia: her dialogue makes more sense with arousal triggers. In my mind, in its current form without that required, it plays into something I've seen a lot: housecarls servicing their thanes. The dialogue in the quest is consistent, unlike in Ysolda's case before it was fixed, but inconsistent with the more vanilla tone of the rest of the mod. It just doesn't bug me as much because of it being self-contained, and consistent while it is. There's also the whole thing about not wanting to see the mod get stuck on a slippery slope of changes, too.

I've probably screwed it up with mods every time then, because I don't remember having that option. Becoming the beast and losing control of your self, or the passage of time is quite common, yes, and partly why I brought that up. Lycanthropy in TES seems fairly similar to what is present in a lot of other myth, fable and movie. I am not sure if pure blood vampires are able to make others or if Molag Bal has to have a ... hand in each creation but that as an origin story is quite unique I'd say to anything else I've read. A lot of stories have vampires gaining power with age, or by being closer to the "first vampire" however it came about, or by gaining power as those in their lines die off (sometimes with the assistance of the younger, impatient vampire). If Molag Bal is the only source of the true vampires, then I think some of the "Skyrim is a nasty mean racist game" reviews and articles really missed the mark on just how edgy and perverted the base game is.

You seem to have a little trouble remembering. I know that's a man quality ;) But as I said already, I have uninstalled and reinstalled Skyrim so many times due to CTDs. Putting things together? That means I have played very many characters. I know, I know! You don't have any sympathy for that. I'm just explaining against an accusation of "do you even game?" Playing through the Main quest, Companions, Thieves Guild, College of Winterhold, Dark Brotherhood, Civil War, Bards College, Daedric princes.. Over and over and over and over and over and over. Is that obnoxious yet? Because it is to me. How does doing that not bore the ever living shit out of you? I can't help but sigh with frustration every time I repeat those missions. Primarily, from CTDs. Skyrim's so good surprising you with those. So, when I make a new awesome character in showracemenu, they become followers instead. Quest mods occupy my time now. Living out Skyrim the same as Groundhog Day is not appealing, it's paramount to mental torture. "becuase" and "accomodated" again. The strength of Amorous Adventures is taking many of the same plots you've played through time and again, then fleshing them out with new dialog, new interactions, and new ties to side quests and minor dungeons you may have skipped. Those ties often take ideas hinted at in the original game and bring them front and center. The closest things to AA on the Nexus are probably the Serana Dialog Edit, Inigo, Vilja, or Anna NPCs, all of which similarly give players new content if they choose to play through quests again. You can find content in AA even if you've completed some quests. It's a large mod. That said, there's no way to untangle a quest enhancement from the quests it enhances.

With that you went from someone I want to fuck with, to someone that's pretty much just like me with a gender swap, someone I want to hear more from. And no that's not because I only now realized you're female; I realized that with the second post, and as a massive amount of blood went from my brain to engorge my mighty 3.5" I just lost my head you know? Anyway, shitting aside, yeah I know exactly what you mean because one month ago I stopped playing Skyrim entirely because I was sick of it. I was playing my character nr bazillion (I ain't fucking kidding, according to Steam I have 3085 hours on this thing), I made a face I liked, I was going all berserking and shit with a new perk mod, I had a new quest installed when... I don't know... I grew sick of it? Something happened and I stopped and I haven't played a game this past month, just binge-watched quality smart TV. The very thought of doing all the guild quests, main quests, daedric quests, and so on and fucking on breaks my spirit every time I consider double-clicking that dragon icon. But here's the thing... assuming you're not at this point yet (where nothing matters really, I'm just waiting for Fallout 4), and you do have some interest in actually playing this game yet... Amorous Adventures is your gateway drug. I can say that i have done the Dawnguard expansion 6 times without really liking the story (it's downrigth retarded at times, and more than once I was even downright sick of Serana), but the 6th time was when I had Amorous Serana with me, and the whole story got expanded and given more meaning, and it's BY FAR the best walkthrough of Dawnguard I have ever done, including the first one, it's like a goddamn Director's Cut where they put in stuff that should have been there all along. I'm not kidding ehre, this is pure honesty, and I bet several others here can add to that. So with that in mind, and how this mod ties all of that boring shit together and gives it meaning... you may want to reconsider this mod, and a playthrough, a last definitive one. Tell you one thing, limited offer, if you come over to my modding guide (in the sig) I will do my absolute best do make sure that your game is ROCK SOLID, that it will crash at most every 5 hours, that you are never going to get a bloated save game, and that you are going to get some really, really great fucking mods. I promise you, I will fix anything that's wrong with your game before you even notice it's wrong to begin with, and probably make it both look better and run better. This is unless you actually are the reverse version of me with about twice that 3000 hours of gameplay in pure modding time and browising through guides and troubleshooting and shit. Because you are, I'm going to have to ask for your hand in marriage, and it's not just my raging 3.5" talking here you know what I'm saying? And fuck you about my spelling, that's a low goddamn point. I'm from Northern Fucking Norway, English is my 5th language (after 2 versions of Norwegian - not shitting, we get told Old Norwegian and New Norwegian in class and they are about as different as one of them and Swedish - Swedish and Danish), and I still spell and write English better than most people born in America (not that that's a big fucking deal with a country of 85 % retards). Now, if they don't take it down then, in time, the Clean version will change to be generally more accomodative to their needs. Because I'm cool like that. And if they do, then all the many, many, many new people who have heard about it over the last week will know where to find it. Really, it's all good. I already met my goals on the Clean version. More than, really. I have appreciated all the reviews and good words and support. I'll be glad to meet their needs on a few things if I can. Thanks!

Ah, gonna go watch some porn instead. -------------------------------------------------------- Back on topic somehow and separated from the shit talk by the magical separator up there only missing Gandalf and a flaming sword, some clarifications about Amorous Adventures that I feel I have to mention because this just came up on the Nexus, and actually made one of the haters that seemed like trolls back off and endorse the mod instead. This is NOT a monagomous romance mod. It's not supposed to be, the only romance is Janessa's quest, that's a great romantic storyline. None of the others are in my opinion, they are immersive ways to seek out and conquer some Nookie, and along the way have some great fun. Also you are not meant to go after just one of the targets, you can (especially so in the case of just doing Vilkas or Farkas for example), but this mod is written with the idea that you are a horndog with an unstoppable libido out to conquer the world, one hot ass at a time. The Solitude questline relies on you dialogue wise to have already done the Riften questline (hence talk about curing a curse by fucking), and the Serana questline specifically fails if you haven't done Annekke's questline already. Basically by the time you get to Serana you are expected to have screwed your way through 10-20 women or so if not more, and maybe 2-3 men. As such if you go into this expecting a loving monogamous romance story with Serana alone, sorry you will fail badly and will not like the mod, it's happened already and it spawned a troll from the tears of one poor girl just looking for some Serana loving (and who can blame her?). So yeah, keep that in mind.

My feeling is it's trolls, and that giving them anything will make them cry "rape" at something else. The problem is ignoring them will cause the whole thing to cascade into the eventual removal of the mod, because the nexus doesn't like rocking the political boat, most likely due to Robin being British and their laws about depictions of rape being so strict. I wish I could see a silver lining here. This mod doesn't deserve this treatment. Also, I saw a few days ago what was done with Ysolda. It was awkward originally. Blackmail's fine with me, it just seemed out of character for the player in its original form. The re-write is much more organic-feeling. Thoughts on Lydia: her dialogue makes more sense with arousal triggers. In my mind, in its current form without that required, it plays into something I've seen a lot: housecarls servicing their thanes. The dialogue in the quest is consistent, unlike in Ysolda's case before it was fixed, but inconsistent with the more vanilla tone of the rest of the mod. It just doesn't bug me as much because of it being self-contained, and consistent while it is. There's also the whole thing about not wanting to see the mod get stuck on a slippery slope of changes, too. Lydia has a quest I really hadn't looked at in forever. My official position is the quest sucks. Nobody put those words in my mouth. Whatever I do may still not, in the end, be pleasing to all but probabably better than now. As for people making hay about the Mod, I think it has survived first contact pretty well! We shall see. If they just leave it alone long enough for me to make changes they might even like it better. Who knows? But, new content will always be released first in the SL version first and dialed down as needed. Thanks! The mod has been updated but there's nothing on the changelog. Wut happened? Is it bugfixing? I added a couple videos to the front page. Sadly, the website sends update notifications for that. Sorry

The expectation of an author to cow-tow to a few people's will is also pretty irritating. A sizeable chunk of the comments in the Nexus thread seem openly hostile, but there are some good points in there (more hugging and kissing is always nice), and I'm impressed at how well you're handling the whole thing, Foxfingers. If that were me I'd probably just throw my toys out of the pram and take the mod down. Good thing you're more mature than I am.

There's Solitude.. next? Annekke falls somewhere in there before Serana. Spoilers don't bother me. I prefer to be given steps, orders. That site that's down every time I go there to update an old mod, the site that I've spent two days just trying to get a mod page to load completely? How is it that people can actually get a mod much less post to complain about it? Oh well. Going hair hunting. I'm on hour 33 as of this typing with a high fever for the last four days with the damn flu, after it I'mma gonna go pass out m'kay? When playing the mod if you come from Helgen then go do Riverwood (Gerdur is very short and can be skipped, Camilla should not), Whiterun (including a semi-speedrun of the companions just to get new dialogue), then up to Windhelm with Janessa, move south and do Anekke and stylgja (this will take you a detour to Markarth, if you have a drunk named Sam nearby at this point it's a nice shortcut), then south to Riften do those quests, stop by Dayspring and start Dawnguard, head to Solitude and do the quests there, then pick up Serana and do Dawnguard, do Aranea if you want another dark elf with you or need the Star, hers is very very short. I haven't done Morthal yet due to that month of not playing Skyrim, so I don't know where it fits in. Also I never got around to a new mage playthrough lately so I haven't done Mirabelle either, but wile it needs you to do the whole Mage's Guild (2-3 hour speedrun tops) it gives you a summonable mage companion. This roadmap of sorts will cover the stuff that will then prepare you for the later quests. Also I find it somewhat amusing that you were able to read my walls of text with no tl;dr (I get them okay?) and dint' read the first post of this mod with the description, which would have told you what you initially came asking about and what annoyed me and turned me hostile. Guess I'm just a charmer, or just needed to get your attention by insulting you first. Ditzy women. So as I think my sight is gone by now and I'm mostly typing touch, how the hell am I supposed to find my bed? Ah, just going to feel around for something soft, land on it and hope it's not the dog.

We should have an optional "Amorous Adventures - Sick Fucks Edition" that keeps all this stuff in A "Devious Adventures" was talked about before, but it was probably just a joke. Never say never. I've read somewhere that Fallout 4 is going to have several romance storylines in the game - as any good RPG should, honestly. That means it's probably not going to need my talents. Now, why Skyrim is devoid of any is beyond me, but this mod is kind of at a point where a few tweaks here and there would turn it into a bit different experience to suit different tastes. Thanks!
