Sacremas Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Was Amorous ever hidden on the Nexus, and if so why?
pinky6225 Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Was Amorous ever hidden on the Nexus, and if so why? Dunno if it was hidden but googling for it "nexus amorous adventures" just brought up vids about it rather than the mod
Hazelwolf Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Was Amorous ever hidden on the Nexus, and if so why? I can find it in the Files of the Month but, I have to admit, not been able to search for it so far. Not even using Foxfingers name brings it up. Could just be the Nexus site being janky rather than anything... underhanded, going on. Google still points me towards both the LL and Nexus versions.
Hazelwolf Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 As long as they're powerful enough, yes, like the housecarls! I think there's Calder and... Argis? From the Windhelm and Markarth homes. I don't think there are any others. There are four in total... There's Calder from Windhelm (he of the epic muttonchops) Argis the Bulwark from Markarth who is, in my opinion, the better looking of the lot even if something has done a number on his eye. Gregor from Dawnstar (Calm thyselves, ladies! ) And Valdimar from Morthal (If you have a thing for the older kind of meatshield) Of course there are mods that overhaul them like Improved Housecarls if, for some reason, none of these handsome specimens suit your tastes The benefit of the Housecarls, though, is the fact that they really are blank slates. You could give them any personality you want and tell any kind of romance you want.
Old Book Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Male Romances could also be an opportunity to bring romance to the College of Winterhold. J'Zargo is a classic bad boy. He's ambitious, smart, and funny, but also deceptive and a prankster. He could easily become romantically interested in the Player Character, with the challenge being figuring out if he were using her for his own purposes or if he could be sincere. Lots of chances for cat related stereotypes. And his voice type has plenty of lines available. If you don't like J'Zargo, but still like his voice type, Kharjo (the caravan guard). He's brave, loyal, and one of the very few NPCs who give you a quest but cautions that your life is more valuable than completing his task. He's a knight in fur under shining armor.Onmund has a troubled family history, is looking for friends, and broods about being a mage in a culture where scholarship is considered unmanly. He's also young and, with the right mods, has leading man good looks. The Player Character can view him as a fixer upper. Savros Aren himself. A doomed romance, since he'll be dead by the end of it, and transgressive in that he's a mentor who should not be involved romantically with his protege, but that could give more drama to the storyline. He has faith in your character, trusts and relies on you, and sees your potential. Maybe he's reaching out because he knows he'll be dead soon, making you his one last grasp at life and youth. You're his midlife crisis girl. From the Player Character's point of view, he's well educated, thoughtful, high status, personally powerful, and genuinely cares about you for reasons you don't quite know. You both share a passion for magic. How many college kids get a crush on their favorite teacher?
Lizzy Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Off topic Nexus rant: With the Nexus, it's best to just keep your fingers still and don't respond to people. I can't always do that myself because of the $#%& Supporters and Premiums. Dumbass class system mentality. "I'm better than you because $3 or $4.80 a month". Several times, I have praised a mod and got a notification, checked back to find one of those two types just laying on insult. Then the rest decide they're going to play gang rape with a bullying *sshole flare and chime in to pick on the lowly "member". Don't get me wrong, I have a few Supporter and Premium friends, but as Ysolda says, a few bad apples spoil the bunch. I go off on long tyrades against groups of these tools. (I would honestly pay the measly $3 if they weren't such pricks!) They always respond about "babbling" or make the same accusations I just defended against. ("You need to try the Creation Kit for once in your life" I've been using the CK for years "but you need to try the Creation Kit!") No reading comprehension for bullying douchebags I am very surprised I'm not banned on the Nexus already. That house is TNF Breezehome, Elianora's flavour :D http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49347/? Morthal and Dawnstar hmm? Don't think I've noticed them before. I never did figure out how to get houses from those two places! Also, I never tried >_> Onmund, yes! He looks fairly handsome from Inhabitants of Skyrim NPC Overhaul: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/23755/? As for J'zargo, that's personal taste I guess for the furries. My common theme for avoiding sex with Khajiit is that cats have barbed penises! Not bashing tastes though, if anybody wants to f*ck a pixelated cat, go right ahead. Okay, I tried to explain why the furries shouldn't hate me and just made it worse Savos Aren though? LL never did convert over the "puke emoticon" from Nexus, did they? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ On topic with Danica Pure-Spring!:

Seracen Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Thanks so much for this mod! This is the sort of content I live for! Can't wait to fire it up!
Hazelwolf Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 The only thing about that is so far hearthfire has not been a requirement for AA, just base game and dawnguard. That's still 2 basegame Housecarls, I suppose. Not as if all the female ones have been given the AA treatment. Besides, it may soon be the case that most people will have all the expansions. The Unofficial Skyrim Patches team are making a legendary edition and will stop supporting the standalone ones, as far as I know.
karlpaws Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 An option... if the housecarls from Hearthfire share the voice types as others is to create a shared housecarl dialog, and you could then pick the one you want. May need something to track if you're doing the same romance with more than one, but that could also be left up to the player... if you want to play through the story on one pc or on 4 through different saves.. its replayable content either way.

FoxFingers Posted October 26, 2015 Author Posted October 26, 2015 In this episode, Serana comes to the conclusion that Valerica just needs a little TLC. http://youtu.be/LuY_JLUQS7g
Juggled Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Will you make a quest for Brylina the dark elf college girl? She just got a face lift from Bijin warmaidens, and wouldn't even have to be a big quest (as you have to do a unique quest to get her as a follower anyways). Also, you might've thought of this already but I hope you make a quest for Delphine. Perhaps along the main questline or starting as soon as you get to the blades temple. I digress, are you working on a quest right now? Spoilers! Next quest is a Lydia re-do and a new Serana quest. After that, I don't know. Women are bugging me to make romance for male NPC's... which is kind of funny since my female NPC romances are apparently completely offensive or something. Thanks! If you do make a male quest you should do Cicero in my opinion he is the only character worth bringing along before Serana. Plus there is a mod called Female Cicero on nexus that replaces the voice files as well as the character model for whatever significance that may be.
rubenibanez Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Lydia's quest is kind crappy as it is now, too much was reused from when Aroused was active. I mean compared to any other mod it's still better, compared to any other quest in this mod it's shit. Plus you do know this will lead to a much longer quest most likely, with much more dialogue? I want the new version. It's a matter of opinion so, let's agree to disagree.
FoxFingers Posted October 26, 2015 Author Posted October 26, 2015 So, we're talking about male romances a bit lately. I have 30 something females in the mod a player can get to know better. And, when Serana's final quest is released there will be three (3) long requested new female lovers a player gets in that quest. And in the Lydia re-do there could easily be a second female involved. Maybe Ahlam (Nazeem's long suffering spouse) or someone else. Okay, so there's probably no way i'm going to work on and voice 30 something male love interest quests. But, if you had to choose three males in Skyrim who would they be? I don't view males as romantic targets in my daily life so I'm counting on you to select the Skyrim males. Thanks!
Roxasvent13 Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Cant play Skyrim without this mod! but would it be possible to re-create this mod without Dawnguard? I Don't really use DLC for Skyrim or other mods, nor do i ever get to the Dawnguard Quest to appreciate the Serana quest. maybe make a non Dawnguard version? it doesn't have to take the next new up dates, and if desired there is hundreds(exaggeration maybe) of mods for serana and velerica.(pardon my spelling, again I don't really play Dawnguard on Skyrim Pc) I make this complaint/Idea, because this mod is the ONLY mod that i HAVE to use Dawnguard for lol.

Mord Sif Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 But, if you had to choose three males in Skyrim who would they be? Yes, Balgruuf, Ulfric and Tullius. All at once! (Make love, not war.) Seriously, that would probably need a lot of rewriting of the Civil War questline - which I generally avoid - and maybe even a bit of the main quest. Was only joking. I have always had a soft spot for Balgruuf, though, and I think his brother, Hrongar, uses a standard voice type and has one of the more amusing lines in the game. "I'm not a man, I'm a weapon in human form. Just unsheathe me and point me at the enemy." If that can't be turned into something sexual, nothing can! He could treat sex as a battle to be won, or an enemy to be conquered, or his voice used for another character. He's already been mentioned, but Erandur is probably the most useful and interesting male follower (assuming you make the relevant choice in his quest, of course.) Erik the Slayer has also been mentioned, I think. So much an eager young man like that needs to be taught about the ways of the world.

Only one I can think of is Eric the Slayer he already wants to swap tales maybe we could swap other stuff
Hazelwolf Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 If we're picking just generic voicetypes I would go for Erik the Slayer. One of the male Housecarls so Argis the Bulwark from Markarth, and the third, well, there's such a lot to choose from but I'll pick Erandur, the priest of Mara from the Vaermina Daedric Quest to give those elf-lovers someone to snuggle up with. I honestly agree that narrowing it down to three is best if you're just making a concession to appease the straight lasses/gay lads but it'll probably take a while if you want suggestions from the peanut gallery. Maybe when you have enough suggestions you could do a poll and we could vote on who should be chosen? As an aside you know there may be something going on in-game between Lydia and Hrongar, Jarl Balgruuf's brother. If you recruit her into the Blades he sends hired thugs after you. If you're rewriting that quest you could introduce something hinting at that.

Onmund at the College of Winterhold, to bring some life to that place, and because his back story and attitude are already easy enough to see as romantic. Jorn at the Bard's College. A chance for rock star jokes. He can again bring life to an under used guild, and his voice type is shared by enough NPCs that you can have some room with the writing. Kharjo the wandering caravan guard. He's already written as a highly sympathetic character, and his voice type has plenty of funny lines. Also, a chance to make jokes relating to cats.
MoonSpot Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 last but not least nazeem.^^ I always figured Nazeem secretly wanted a sadomasochistic dominatrix in his life. If only the DB could teach Ahlam how to be one.

ReiseReise Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 What about bringing back the Adoring Fan as a secret bonus romance if you finish all other male romance quests (you know - Grand Champion of the Arena of Heartbreaking)? The ultimate goal however would be of course not to bed him but to get rid of him. Anyone?
