this is amazing, well well done. so far ive done the lydia quest and im on jenassas. sometimes i find mods that just make me want to play skyrim even longer and this is one of those mods. good good job.

any plans for a spouse quest? i know theres spouses enhanced, but i dunno, i love things that make spouses more fun.

again this is awesome. actually playing this in a dedicated playthrough, so, sadly i've done the dawnguard quests. too bad. ill be trying that little trick to get the quest working, but hey if my game ever breaks ill be happy about starting over.

That being said, awesome, awesome mod. Amazing work done to mash the voice files and fits wonderfully into the game. Thank you so much for this! ^-^

I endorsed this mod everywhere!  :D

one of the best mod ever!.. best of the best!

thank you!

bye!

S.

Thanks for the good word, as always I really appreciate it.

So near the conclusion of the morthal quest was I the only one who...

wabbajacked old ravencrone because I thought maybe I was supposed to as part of fulfilling the quest?

So far, yes.

Ballsy move.

I was wondering if anyone would do that.

Ah I love those devious traps. You stumble into one after the other, it's like they're everywhere and so hard to avoid, and once you get into them you are just in so much shit. It's risky buisness, if you're not careful it can be real bad for your health, but the rewards at the end are almost always worth it. I wish someone would put some proper traps into Skyrim. Best ones we have now come from third party mods and overall I'm not too impressed, I think they need to do their research more to make it real interesting. Of course that could make certain people a bit butthurt.

Though it's funny that the terminology can also actually apply to crossdressing boys. Eww. No thanks.

... What? Why are you looking at me like that?

You know FoxFingers, Kryptopyr worked insanely hard on CACO, had to request help from several other modders to add in bomb-throwing and similar things and changing all of Skyrim's Alchemy, fixing Bethesda's many mistakes, as well as making cooking actually rewarding and melding in several other mods and nexus contributions like water plants, changing Skyrim's entire eco system, hunting, everything, and even included a basic but extremely workable needs mods, with an awesome MCM mod to control all of that. It is a mod that would have been a godsend in early days of Skyrim modding, and had it come earlier we all would have been using it because half the mods on the nexus would be adapted to work with her mod.

And in a couple of days, Amorous Adventures is probably going to outrank her on the File of the Month list. You evil person you.

Though to be perfectly fair you probably spent more time on the sound editor for Amorous than she did working on her mod. And your mod is a lot less likely to have bugs, and I'm not just talking about the ones you crush into paste. Plus yours is actually the one of the two I'm using, because hers conflcts with so much. So yeah. :P

Gee, I don't know much about the Nexus or the File of the month thing.  And I think anyone who spends time doing this Modding thing we don't make any money for deserves all the kudos they can get.

I hope that Mod wins, I guess.  Sincerely.

That said, dude, I cannot count the hours in this Mod. By the time I quit it probably will have been 2 years of non-stop work.  So, you know, it's not like I feel this mod is trivial or anything.

But I did it for the sex, baby.  Yeah, gotta have goals.

Meh, it's a popularity conest based on votes, nothing more, as usual when I'm not trying to help someone, I was trying for a stupid joke :P.

Basically the main use of it I see is that it's very much out in the open and extremely easy to find for someone a year from now, looking through the files of the month is a lot easier than browsing half of Nexus looking for gems, what the gazillion mods out there. As such, I don't really give a shit if a mod is rank 1 or rank 5, it being on it at the end is all that matters (as such next month I'm going to try my very best to get Gamwitch's Rustic Clothing mod that Amorous replaced on the Files of the Month list onto that month's list, because the textures in that is awesome). If Skyrim modding goes on, CACO will find it's place along with Kryptopyr's other mods like Weapons and Armor Fixes and Complete Crafting Overhaul, even if she ends up on 5th spot (and she won't). Even if she for some extremely incredible and unlikely reason she actually got bumped off the file of the month entirely, people would find that mod easily through all the links to it that will be placed everywhere, like with Kryptopyr's other extremely well-used mods. Amorous Adventures? Not so much, unless it gets like 10.000 endorsements after the first couple of weeks if it didnt' end up on the File of the Month list, it would have utterly drowned in the Nexus garbage and be very hard to find. And if any mod at all (and yes that trumps every one of Kryptopyr's mods) deserve to be easily found and available to all in my opinion, it's Amorous Adventures.

Well, its good thing skyrim has those "cure-all" Esunaga++ shrines then I guess.

With a change like that you can probably post it on the Nexus just fine, Sexlab reliance was always the thing that held you back there, there's a lot worse than what's in this mod on the Nexus already.

I remain skeptical.

See, the thing is that I prize my ability to log in and download stuff on the Nexus over my ability to spend my free time browsing yet another support topic solving more peoples problems. :)

So you said, but meanwhile;

"I understand you want Hugs and Kisses.

And I want to give you those Hugs and Kisses, I really do!

I know a guy named Leito

and he's agreed to help me help you get the

hugs and kisses you need.

Gonna be a few weeks before any update to the Mod, though.

On vacation and can't look into it for a bit.

Thanks!"

Mmmhmmm.  Masochist.

At least I'm not the only one who falls for traps :P

And on that note I have a staggering, earth-shaking revelation to present.

Some time back I became curious about this FoxFingers person, what kind of person can put himself through all of this in order to deliver love to the masses. So I hired a private detective to find this person, and today he reported back, with a shocking revalation.

I give you the one true real life face of the man we know as FoxFingers;

So i installed new 2.7.2 Sexlab Version yesterday, now gone a bit trough "Blinded by Visions" and during the Scene with Jonna i got just a skipping Black Screen. Did you mix up something with the Clean Version? I definitely have the Sexlab Version, so skip that Question.   :(

Edit. And never had a Clean Version installed, just to be clear.

Edit2. Just tried the same with older 2.7.1 and worked fine.

Edit3. So after another try with 2.7.2 freshly downloaded it worked for some reason, so forget my post for now. :sleepy:

Oiy, old chicks have needs to.  You might want to try being a Dragonborn with a bigger heart.

Now get your wabbajack out and hammer that classic into shape.  (getting plastered first helps...to prolong the event)

When FoxFingers first mentioned Morthal I was worried what lengths I would have to go to to get Idgrod the Younger....Wabbajacking Idgrod the Older does not seem out of the realm of possibilities in hindsight.

Hey guys, so like I said I'll be Online less and have no access to any modding tools for a couple weeks.

Please, I'm just begging you, don't get me in trouble over at the other site.  I don't want to be a lightning rod for controversy.

I see people talking about things in the Video comments and the other message board I know nothing about and don't want to know anything about.  I just want people to be able to find a little love and adventure in Skyrim.

Thanks!

Thanks again all for the kind words on the Clean version release.  And also for offering tips and guidance to the people trying it out.  I appreciate that as well.

You're all really wonderful in that way.

I'm going on holiday (yay!) for a couple weeks.  So I won't be around to chat like I usually am.  When I get back I'll be working on getting out the next content release.

I know everyone will be playing Fallout by the time it gets done, but maybe you'll take a little time out sometime to go on one last adventure with Serana.

Thanks!

If you're adding more people then expect me to stop playing Fallout 4 to try out the new version. Yeah I said it, dis mod > FO4.

I just got a tweet this mod is on Nexus now.  What the hell FoxFingers?

Well, I'm not sure what you mean.

It introduces the Mod to a new audience who would like to have the romantic quests in their game.

And, if they decide in the course of playing it that they would like to experience the Full version, then that new audience is going to see the hard work of the animators and scripters who have done so much amazing work here in the Full version.

Thanks!

Can't believe I never heard of this mod until it popped up on the Nexus.

The edited dialogue is perfect, I'd swear that they're the original lines. Things seemed to operate well (used the SexLab version) and stuff progressed without issues.

The only "negative" things that I spotted were some dialogue options that lacked periods on the end. This is a very well done mod!

Isn't it obvious? It's Amorous Adventures with no Amour at the end of it as a reward. Elisif wedding without doing it while Lisette is singing and half of solitude praises you, etc. It's LL-bait to lure away more people from Nexus.

And it's working!

Posted

Moderators deleted the posts of some colossal idiot complaining how Dark0ne himself specifically outlawed Sexlab Framework on Nexus (as well as indirectly attacking Ashal in the same sentence for not allowing Sexlab Framework to be posted somewhere else) and that was the reason poor FoxFingers couldn't put the animations into that version, basically a very hostile post that was begging not to allow him to download off the Nexus anymore. I don't remember the name of this genius (maybe he'll post here and identify himself?) so I can't check if he got banned, but both his and my response post was deleted, no warnings issued my direction or the like. So Nexus moderators are paying attention to the thread and mod and various references that has been made, and not taking any overt actions. This can only be a good thing in my book as long as everyone but a few dumb-asses continue to follow basic rules like not posting links to Lover's Lab or explaining explicitly and defensively why the clean version have to exist or the like.

To whoever posted that, I just remembered said Nexus account had very few posts in it. If it was a dummy account for specifically making stupid mistakes/attacks, then that was a very good decision, and I'm curious to hear if they blocked your IP or the like as well.

Posted

I don't have a Nexus account so I miss out on all the stupidity that happens there.  :(  not really sad about it though.  :D

If the staff is deleting posts and not publicly shaming people like they love to do then something is going on.  And yeah, they are probably watching that thread like hawks.  And if Amorous Adventures is as popular there as it is here you know that grates on their nerves, especially if people are talking about the LL version there.

Think it was "wur waldo" if I recall.  Saw it, moved on. /me doesn't care for drama unless it's comedic

Outside of the dirt flinging, seemed they were reporting on things through coloured goggles in regards to rights and ownership of source and the line in the sand the nexus has for their policies.  :shrugs: Don't know, didn't help anything, move anything forward or provide anything constructive that I could make out anyways.

Congrats on file of the month Fox.  I've been playing this mod since its first posting and I have to say it is probably one of the best Skyrim mods I've ever seen.

With Fo4 and possibly the new Elder Scrolls game in the future, I don't think that they will really contend with the modding community in Skyrim for a long time.  The reasons I say this is because I think that microtransactions will be sought after in future modding games.  The reason it failed in Skyrim is because this game was never designed to have a framework for it.  Despite this they tried and it failed spectacularly, with huge backlashes from the community.

In the future, I think we will see some kind of attempt to add microstransactions to modding in future games.  With microstransactions comes legality, more restrictive controls, and a whole lot of things that would not have allowed the Skyrim community to grow as it did.

Skyrim has been the wild wild west when it came to modding -the absolute frontier.  It may very well still be a bastion for modding freedom if things go as I predict.  For that reason, I don't think that continued modding efforts on Skyrim from all of the talented people on here will ever be a waste.  It may end up like what happened when Wizards of the Coast tried to force out Dungeons and Dragons 4th edition as a table top action game instead of a true story driven table top RPG.  Players revolted and created Pathfinder, which was just a rebrand of DnD 3rd edition and lives on as the successor to DnD, which almost completely died until it returned to its roots with 5th edition and now still has to complete with losing half its playerbase to Pathfinder.

Skyrim might actually end up becoming the Pathfinder of modding games -especially if future games try to mix money with modding and impose less freedom.  I don't think this game will die anytime soon.  This is stands even more true with great mods like Amorous that keep the game alive and add 3-dimensional depth to normally boring characters.  There are also framework mods like SL,HDT, ENB, Jcontainers, and Skse which break the walls of what people though were the limitations of the game engine.  In the future, I think even more walls will be broken.

I mean damn, I remember when people were saying the 3D vag with actual physics was an impossibility.

I do think future titles will be a bright flash that draws the attention away from Skyrim for a moment, but people will come back when they realize how restrictive the modding is on those upcoming games.

Anyway, I appreciate your work on this Fox and that of Ashal + others involved with SL and LL.  It's cool to see adult subjects explored in good tastes and the immersion of the game greatly expanded.  For me, this mod has gone a long way to keeping the game fresh.  While I play other games, I always always come back to Skyrim -especially when there is an Amorous update.  It's always exciting to see who you might add next.  You mod is one of the top works that really keeps the game alive for me and reminds me of how much freedom there is in Skyrim.

Sorry for the soapbox moment.  On the subject of Amorous Adventure possibilities, one NPC that no one really thinks about is the female Dark Brotherhood Initiate that you gain when completing the final quest.  There is a Skyrim Beautiful Followers mod that beautifies her.  If your brainstorming new questlines, I wanted to bring this one up because seduction and sexuality is an important trait for any assassin.  If the initiate just joined the brotherhood and needs to learn these skills, who better to learn from than the listener him/herself?
