Here is my loadorder. SlaveTats 1.2.3, latest JContainers, latest racemenu.

Facetats doesnt work, Face tab in MCM is just empty space. All other tabs/tattoos are working fine.

 

the face overlays has been disabled in the last version of RaceMenu because can cause CTD when a body are capitated... 

 

but if you want it edit nioverride.ini in SKYRIM\DATA\SKSE\plugins.. modify the sections like tihis:

 

 

[Overlays/Body] ; "Body [Ovl#]" and "Body [sOvl#]"

; Determines how many body overlays there should be

iNumOverlays=6 ; Default[6]

iSpellOverlays=1 ; Default[1]

 

 

[Overlays/Hands] ; "Hands [Ovl#]" and "Hands [sOvl#]"

You need to change the parameter bEnableFaceOverlays to 1 in the file nioverride.ini otherwise nothing will work. Open that file and there are comment detailing what each parameter do, you can't do anything wrong if you read and understand.

 

If you don't understand, do no touch. However for this case, it is straightforward enough. You'll want a addon that disable head removal, otherwise you'll have CTD every time you cut off the head of an NPC.

You need to increase the multiplier (by default 1.2) instead. The max abuse value is just the size of the pool. I can be wrong though.

Okay, I'm having trouble having my tattoos show up. My game boots fine, my MCM seems okay and I can select a tattoo in the menu, but when I exit out of MCM, nothing shows up on my character. I don't know what else to do. I have all the prerequisites, everything's up to date, I'm using MO, my load order and priorities seem fine and I've tried everything that's in this thread. I've disabled the mods that I think could conflict, like Wet and Cold, Bathing in Skyrim, Wet Function Redux, and any non-standard (not bundled with SoS or UNP) body textures or meshes, but that didn't work either. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here's my load order.

It's every tattoo. Face, Body, Feet and Hands, no matter what pack. And another thing I just found out as well, while still trying to fix this: I can't even apply the tattoos that come with Race Menu, through Race Menu. So I'm starting to think that it has to do with Race Menu itself.

I had that installed initially, but uninstalled it because people in this thread said it was unneeded. I could try it again, though.

enable loging in your skyrim.ini and put it here... but i presume you have some problems with base skyrim... try re-install JContainers...

 

download and install Jaxonz Diagnostics and verify thaty your base game is good.. skyrim + dlc + skse + skui

 

i think ENB have none to make here.. but try disable it..

Woo, finally got it working! In frustration, I deleted my Skyrim install folder, re-downloaded Skyrim from Steam, and re-installed my mods and now it works like a charm! Still no idea why it decided to crap out in the first place, but oh well. Thanks for the help, all.

I have been using the scars section that comes with the mod as a substitute but I'd like real whip marks on the front and back. I downloaded every pack and was looking through each one but couldn't find any. Did I just miss them if so which pack is it. if not is there an external pack somewhere that will add them. It would mean a lot to me.....Thanks guys

have some good whipmarks to add to slavetats. For the first link, if you don't want the other stuff, you can just download the mod and just separate out the whip slavetats and drag it to your slavetats folder.

does anyone know if there needs to be a certain setting on the mesh file for the tattoo to show up? I have a pair of heels from TBBP High Heels pack and the stjocking tattoos are not showing up for this particular shoe no matter what I set the feet tattoo to. I have no problems with other shoes, just seems to be this particular shoe. in fact I can wear another pair of heels and the feet stocking tattoos will show up. they disappear as soon as I put on a shoe from the TBBP heels pack.

Other people have had issues with tats on random npcs.  It most has to do with the non-unique nature of the npc, though some have been able to apply the tat and have them visible, then vanish when the npc reloads when changing cells.

I've got a little problem with the slavetats makeup:

 

 

The nail polish is a bit truncated, my guess is the texture doesn't align correctly. This is due to my switch to UUNP, I believe - I never had this problem with standard UNP. Does anyone have a fix?

As soon as I set my character as a target for Slavetats, it seems to have frozen VM. Massive frameloss then occurred as the game started dumping stacks because of reaching the warning threshold.

 

Not sure if this is a problem with compatibility with Blushed When Aroused.

 

EDIT: I would still like an answer, but I want to note that I just found out the author made a statement with his last update in April that he plans to no longer fix bugs or update the mod. :/ He also admitted that it works for his modlist but he doesn't guarantee a bugfree release. Most of the stack trace seems to be caused by that mod, so I guess I'll just have to not use it.

I made a set of vampire-based tats under the title Volkihar Blood Dairies a while back. I didn't release the pack at the time because I wanted to use them in a mod.

 

Anyway, the mod hasn't happened, so here's the pack: Permission is granted to murfk to include this pack on the download page.
