Inspiration hit and I decided to work on some Companions Slave Tats. All working okay (thanks for helping Doc). Was wondering if anyone had any ideas for what to put on the tats and even where they should be?

Silver hand: what about a severed, bloody hand? Indicating that the Silver Hand are now handsless.

 

I like those, particularly "feel the beast inside you."

 

A couple other possible suggestions:

"Join the Companions, and have a Howling good time!"

"I hound my enemies to death"

"Puppy Love"

"Wuuthrad Warrior"

"Silver-Hand Slayer"

i am use sl hormones bimbo tatts and i put on the face one, and my char face became all green and blocky

Text on the second looks better, (but that's just subjective). (Mind a more 'burnt in' look might improve it).

90% of the tats pack work I just learn to not use them.

On the subject of tats and Blender and mapping tattoos onto curved surfaces, I found an interesting tutorial

 

Haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but it looks fairly straight forward.

Have searched the thread but can't find anything that seems to fit a couple ofd issues I just came across when retrying this mod

 

First, it doesn't bring up the name of my follower, to whom I had applied a few tats some time ago.  Not only that, the MCM won't let me select them for further additions/removals

 

Second, tried out almost all the tat collections I downloaded on my PC yesterday, one by one, and after removing everything and carrying on with the game, the next 2 to 3 saves took forever and ever to complete, so long I thought at first I had a CTD.  When I looked at the save filesize, it had increased by 110mb on my playing about/testing the mod!  Needless to say, I went back a few saves....

 

Anyone else come across these and, better still, got a fix for the first, and have any clue as to how I could have managed to achieve the second?

More information might help. Body etc. Most tattoos are made for certain bodies but between UNP and CBBE they're pretty flexible. So yeah what body are you using? Also are you sure you have the newest SKSE because iirc it was recently updated and RaceMenu is something people forget. I'm only a minor modder so my help and advice is pretty minor. Oh and did you apply them via the MCM?

i am using CBBE body i generated from Bodyslide.. I do have the latest verion of SKSE and Racemenu. I am applying tattoo from MCM. It says its working on my character and then says done. But no tats appear.

 

i even tried to apply on NPCs and the same thing is happening.

 

It used to work just fine, then i added a couple of tattoos from this very post like the preg tattoos and etc, and then this started up.

 

yes i tried starting a new character. yes i know my load order is huge and no i dont have any other issues expect this. =P

90% of the tats pack work I just learn to not use them.

 

 

Face Makeup tats don't work for me either. Pretty much everything else does, although some of the fingernail/toenail tats also cause the hand or foot to go crazy. Anybody have any idea what's causing it or how to fix it?

Reading through your API, I thought query_applied_tattoos() would give me the functionality I need but I haven't found a template design that results in positive return. If I made a blank template "JValue.retain(JMap.object())" I detect nothing when the actor in question is wearing a tattoo. If I modify specific strings to narrow the search results "JMap.setStr(templateTest3, "area", "BODY")" I still get no response. even if I fill in every single field that is shown in the json file for that specific tattoo, it still returns false.

 

Did I completely misunderstand the purpose of this function or am I just using it wrong? If that function is used for a different purpose, is there a function that fits the description of what I need?

 

For reference, the use case is detecting tattoos from other mods.

That's the right function, although for such a broad use you could probably just do:

 

int applied = JFormDB.getObj(target, ".SlaveTats.applied")

 

Neither query_applied_tattoos nor the above will work if the tattoos weren't applied via SlaveTats

I searched through the Slave Tats texture packs and opened them by Photoshop, but I could not find any sets for whip marks (butt area especially). Have I missed them somehow or is there really no whip mark set available yet ?

 

I know that Zaz Animation Pack has some and the (still somewhat unfnished and buggy) Paradise Hall mod on Nexus has some, but I believe just as effects/decals, not as an overlay texture like for tattoos in Race Menue.

I am currently using Slavetats 1.04 but want to upgrade so as to get full features of both Slavetats and Apropos. How do I safely upgrade? Do I need to uninstall my old version?
